00:04employee, I think in the Baltimore region, was refusing to give someone a free meal for their

00:08birthday and that led to them getting mad at him and trying to put him on blast on camera and

00:14can see he's just had it up to here. Now I do know that Jersey Mike's does give freebies on

00:18birthday but you have to have the Jersey Mike's app and you have to have bought something within

00:24365 days of using the redemption for your birthday. I think you also have to have an account

00:31activated within eight days of your birthday. Some sources claim that the customer claims she

00:36had the app but even though she had the app she did not have the active 72 short points. Now

00:40some are

00:41saying the way the employee behaved was unacceptable like he was not being professional. Some would

00:46say judging by his actions and words in the video that he was not being professional but I've seen

00:51this look. Anyone who's worked in customer service has seen this look before. You've been dealing with

00:55people screaming in your face, giving you attitude, giving you the side eye, essentially being more

00:59troubled than they're worth. And at that point you don't care about your job anymore, you don't care

01:02about how you look, you're just like I got time today and that's what this employee is sort of giving

01:10off. Because while I still don't think what he said was professional, I don't think anybody gets ready

01:15for work every day with the intention of being like you know what I'm gonna get into an altercation

01:21or an argument or any type of issue today that could jeopardize my job. Like I don't think he was

01:27going out of his way to do that. Today his limit was just finally it was at its breaking point.

01:33If he is the one in the wrong I do hope Jersey Mike's takes appropriate action and makes things

01:38right with the customer. But nine times out of ten it's usually the customer being on one. Jersey Mike's is
