00:19Everyone's like, whoa, it's half empty at Truist Field,
00:22at Truist Park out there in Atlanta?

00:26And I have to keep reminding people,
00:28and maybe we should remind the MLB,
00:30why are we scheduling games this early in the middle of a weekday?
00:33If it's a Saturday or a Sunday, shoot, even a Friday, I understand.
00:38This is the playoffs, and you're going to expect people to take off work
00:42to go to these games at 11 a.m., 12 noon, 1 p.m. local time?
00:48Like, of course it's going to be half empty.
00:50So I think this is more on the MLB, not really the fans.

02:46Look, when it comes to the situation with game times, I've said this for a very long time.
02:54But Major League Baseball does the worst job marketing their stars.
02:57They do the worst job putting people on television that you need to see outside of Otani.
03:04Baseball has a lot of unique players.
03:06They have a lot of guys with unique talents.
03:09I am not paying to go out of market to watch these guys.
03:12The fact that every time Paul Skeens or Mizorowski pitch that they're not on national television,
03:18available free somewhere, I shouldn't have to chase your star on an app somewhere where
03:23you've got partnerships with NBC, when you've got partnerships with ESPN, you should be putting on Aaron Judge in the
03:32Yankees.
03:32You should be putting on Mazeroski in the Brewers or Paul Skeens whenever he pitches.
03:39You should be putting on Ellie Dela Cruz.
03:41There are a lot of baseball players that are very unique and jump off the screen during their at-bats
03:48and when they're in the field on defense.
03:50They do not market their guys, and it sank the sport to now baseball is just a regional sport.
03:58You only care about baseball and your team that plays in your region or your rival within your division.
04:05I don't know anybody that will watch a game that they have no implications on in baseball.

04:12Football, absolutely all the time.
04:14Baseball, you couldn't pay me to watch a game between the Rockies and the Royals.

04:44And the MLB, like the Rockies, yeah, they might have a few decent plays, but it's no like household names.
04:51It's no guys that like, he was a first round pick and it's like he just got drafted last year.
04:56That's the thing with the MLB that, I've said this many times, their problem is that they draft these top
05:02prospects
05:02and they sit in the minor leagues for four years in the Midwest in Ottawa or Kansas or
05:09wherever, wherever, Oklahoma cities, Oklahoma, I don't know, man, you know, these weird cities.
05:16Yeah, everybody will be in Ottawa, you'll never see them.
05:19What's the Dodger minor league team?
05:20Rancho Cucamonga, they be way in and Rancho Cucamonga chilling.

05:24For about 10 years.
05:25The Ontario team that the Dodgers have, it went out to that new stadium that they built.
05:28That's a fun stadium.
05:30That's a really cool place.
05:31And like, I love that vibe, but if you like, they draft the number one overall pick and
05:36he'll go play in the Midwest somewhere and get buried in single a for two years and you
05:41won't see him for three years.
05:42It's like, well, we got this highly touted prospect out of LSU and he's this, this, and
05:47this, but you won't see him for another six years.
05:49So just wait for that.
