Family, before I apologize for protecting my peace, I have to remember where my peace came from.
This peace did not come from people.
This peace did not come from money.
This peace did not come from a vacation.
This peace did not come from having everything around me perfect.
This peace came from Jesus.
John 10 reminds us that when we belong to Him, no one can pluck us out of His hand. That means what God did in my soul is deeper than behavior. We are talking about eternal transformation. We are talking about being claimed by God, covered by God, kept by God, and sealed by God.
That is why some of us cannot get comfortable in places God never called us to live in. That is why some doors shut. That is why some situations no longer work. That is why some things that once satisfied us no longer do.
