00:00One game that is just because there's so much else happening will really
00:06probably fly under the radar is Alabama, South Carolina.
00:09But there are two things that stood out to me when breaking this game down.
00:14One is I found myself again being like,
00:17if Beamer's a good coach, he's going to step up here and get his guys ready.
00:20I'm like, well, how many times can I say that?
00:22And then lose money and then just do it again.
00:25And maybe Beamer's not all that good.
00:27And I have nothing against Shane Beamer.
00:29Look, I know coaches can be very polarizing in this sport.
00:33I think Beamer's a guy that's kind of easy to cheer for.
00:36But the ship might have sailed on South Carolina.
00:42The other thing, though, that caught my eye is Alabama's offense is averaging 48 points a game.
00:51You could be like, ah, East Carolina, Florida State, Kentucky.
00:54And I think that that is all fair.
00:58But Keelan Russell won this job.
01:02And you have to be pretty excited about the results here early on.
01:07It's not a game that's going to hit my card here, Dave.
01:11I feel like I lean under.
01:13But again, you've got a Bama team that's flirting with this total on their own in games so far this
01:20season.
01:21And I'm excited to learn more about these two teams here today in the SEC.
01:25Yeah, I haven't been shy about me touting Alabama in these spots the last couple of weeks.
01:31We talked about it in the last segment.
01:32I had them versus Florida State.
01:33But I also had Keelan Russell over his pass numbers, which he hit in the first half.
01:38Alabama has an offense, and there's no doubting of that, even though they haven't played the greatest competition.
01:44Playing Kentucky and Florida State is better than some other schools have played.
01:47Bama has looked good on offense.
01:49And, Kevin, if you had told me I was going to score 50 points last week, I would have said
01:52covering versus Florida State was absolutely going to happen.
01:55South Carolina is not good.
01:56They're not good.
01:57And I think the Beamer show, you said that it might be too late.
02:01I think it is too late.
02:02I think blowing a 16-0 lead to Mississippi State at home is the end of the road there.
02:09I'm not sure this team can bounce back from that.
02:12When you lose a two-touchdown lead at home versus an inferior SEC team, and then you've got to go
02:18play Bama, this could be a trouble spot.
02:21I like Bama here.
02:22I know it's a lot of points.
02:23This is more of a play on Bama has a good offense.
02:26Because South Carolina is not a good team, and I think what happened last week is going to actually carry
02:33over to this week.
02:34And you don't know what's being said in the locker room and all that.
02:36That's a tough loss, losing to Mississippi State in that spot when you have such a big lead.
02:42Maybe the Beamer show is over there, and they've got to go in a different direction.
02:46I didn't have them highly ranked to begin with, and I think they're showing that.
02:50I like Bama in this spot.
02:52And, you know, I'm in survivor pools like everybody else.
02:54And I took Bama here because I don't think there's a spot to use Bama the rest of the year
02:59because this is it for Bama.
03:00After this game, their schedule gets really hard.
03:04And so if you like Bama, this is a big showcase game for them to stay undefeated because the rest
03:10of the road is a very, very tough schedule.
