00:30That lets us get 120 on this side, 120 on this side, and since those two windings are

00:34out of phase with each other, we can get 240 across them.

00:36Which we use for the larger outlets for things like proper shop equipment and grandma's rump

00:40shaker.

00:41Inside the breaker box, each phase feeds an alternate level XYXY right the way down.

00:46This lets us use a double pole breaker and easily have 240 all together to feed a circuit.

00:51And that's pretty cool.
