The body of the custom-built Mercedes‑AMG CLE 646 was engineered with a relentless focus on maximum driving dynamics and performance. The extensively modified body-in-white increases structural rigidity and lays the foundation for the vehicle's exceptional performance potential. Numerous production components have been replaced by solutions specifically designed for both road and track use. A key element of the concept is the significantly widened track. To achieve this, the body-in-white was specifically reinforced and widened, resulting in an additional 60 millimeters of width at both the front and rear axles. The wider track improves handling stability, increases cornering speed potential, and allows for the use of exceptionally wide wheels and tires.
