The Mercedes-AMG CLE 646 Special Edition was developed with a clear focus: driving dynamics. This road-legal, high-performance coupé delivers an uncompromising driving experience on winding country roads and closed race tracks. To achieve this, the vehicle combines a 646 hp (475 kW) V8 twin-turbo engine with pure rear-wheel drive, significantly reduced weight, and chassis technology engineered specifically for precision. A unique wide-body design—featuring wider tracks, numerous carbon-fiber components, and purpose-developed aerodynamics—further enhances its dynamic potential. To this end, the CLE 646 Special Edition is completely rebuilt to AMG’s signature "manufaktur" quality standards at the company's headquarters in Affalterbach.
