00:00We do have really significant waiting lists. The predecessor Tory government let those waiting
00:04lists double. We're changing that, whether that's investment in courts, whether that's uncapping
00:09sitting days, improvements in technology. We've also got really important legislation coming back
00:14to Parliament next month as well. But at the core of it is recruitment and people stepping up and
00:19playing their role. So we need to get those backlogs down because every case in that waiting
00:23list is a person waiting for justice, in many cases multiple years, and that's not good enough.
