00:00Ella Langley was born Elizabeth Camille Langley on May 3, 1999, in the small rural town of Hope Hull,
00:06Alabama. She grew up in a musical family. Her grandfather played many instruments,
00:11and music filled their home and church. After he passed away, her father restrung his old guitar
00:17for her when she was 14. That same night, Ella taught herself to play Bob Marley's Three Little
00:22Birds. She practiced by singing in the barn to the family's cows. Later she performed at local
00:28bars and talent shows while studying forestry at Auburn University. But music kept calling louder
00:34than school. At age 20 she dropped out of college and moved to Nashville in 2019 with almost nothing,
00:40determined to make it as a songwriter and singer. The early days were hard. She played long cover
00:45gigs in bars and lived with other struggling musicians. In 2021, a short video of her song,
00:51If You Have To, went viral on TikTok. That moment opened doors. In 2023 she signed with Sony Music
00:58Nashville and Columbia Records and made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry. Her career took off with the
01:03hit, You Look Like You Love Me, featuring Riley Green, which won major CMA awards. Then in late 2025
01:10she released, Choose in Texas, co-written with Miranda Lambert. The song became a massive phenomenon,
01:17spending more than 20 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and breaking records.
01:22From singing to cows in an Alabama barn to topping the charts worldwide, Ella Langley's journey shows that
01:27patience, hard work, and staying true to yourself can turn a small-town dream into global success.
