Christ Health Center Partners The Birmingham Dream Center Refuse To Tip On Restaurant Outings

A 2024 review highlights an account from Birmingham, Alabama area restaurant staff, citing an outing by employees of community outreach organization, The Birmingham Dream Center. They relate the group refused to leave a gratuity, a customary practice, for the establishment's servers, hosts & hostesses.

The Dream Center was co-founded along side Christ Health Center in 2009. Embattled area megachurch, The Church Of The Highlands put up big money to get both started. Christ Health CEO Dr. Robert Record served as Dream Center Director for 5 years from the founding. I had dealings with Christ Health in a near-fatal injury in 2019 & have related my account in many hours of video.

In my case I encountered a cult-like organization who use Jesus Christ's name to generate revenue but retreat behind half baked legalese & word salad when challenged on service & billing related issues. They were not reputable when it came to honoring statements of correcting my issues.

My Run-down of issues with Christ Health Center:
-Received no measurable level of service in my visit.
-Charged same amount ($110) to see a doctor (MD) as a nurse (NP).
-Christ Health is partners with Ascension / St. Vincent's Hospital, it looks like Christ Health either decided to ignore my injury or were ordered to ignore my injury to protect the reputations and salaries of the "professionals" involved.
-MD refused to give me a referral for mri, broken bone showed up in ct he claimed to have reviewed in detail (SEE RECORDS IN VIDEOS).
-Billed $50 for hemoglobin blood test and electrocardiogram I never received (services not rendered) (taking money from people who have nothing is obscene).
-Nurse wrote in her report she suspected "psych etiology" (WRONG - broken skull bone is visible in the images (SEE MRI - CT - XRAY)).
-Nurse agreed to give referral when I secured mri, I was given 3 avenues to pursue financial assistance all three lead to dead ends, I did not qualify. After I paid $500 CASH out of pocket for MRI the diagnostic center needed the referral I informed them to call Christ Health, they were put on hold 15 minutes before someone at Christ Health hung up the phone (they backed out on giving the referral?).
- Beverly Vonder Pool, An MD I had no interaction with also strangely edited and signed off on my records and chart days following visit (I complained about my service issues before this).
-I believe I may have been "patient dumped" (see EMTALA) in the course of my seeking treatment.
-Called The CEO Robert Record in May, 2023 (see recorded phone calls in videos) & spoke to him for 30 minutes. His responses to my concerns were not adequate. Tells me he will contact someone to address my issues, only later did I find out this was their attorney Deborah Pickens. She tells me they looked into my stuff and they would take no actions to help me with my issues. She says a letter would be mailed to me by post about the findings of their internal board In Aug. 23.
