00:00Let me see you kiss her again.
00:02Okay.
00:07Orlando Bloom wasn't shy about filming this threesome scene,
00:11with Malin Ackerman and Kristen Milioti in Netflix's steamy anthology series Easy.
00:17Now, a decade later, there's another threesome scene with Bloom that's causing a stir.
00:22However, fans online are calling the incestuous premise disgusting.
00:25Werner Herzog's new film, Bucking Fastered, premiered at the Venice Film Festival on September 3rd.
00:32Then it hit Spain's San Sebastian Film Festival on September 18th,
00:36where Bloom opened up about the intimate scene between real-life sisters Rooney Mara and Kate Mara.
00:43According to Variety, he described it as a very sincere sort of moment that he and his co-stars created
00:48together, adding,
00:50There is such simplicity to the characters and their carnal desires, but also an innocence to the sisters.
00:56But over on Reddit, the reactions have been spicy to say the least.
01:00Ew, this is appalling!
01:02What work should I definitely not look out for so I don't watch this film?
01:06What the f*** is happening? Why would the Maras agree to this?
01:09And, this is just weird.
01:12That said, a few Redditors defended the actor's decision to participate in the film as an artistic choice.
01:18It's acting. You're not supposed to be attracted to and enjoy the sex scenes. It's a job.
01:23Sounds bizarre, but it's based on a true story, so I guess this is what happened.
01:27Bucking Fastered is loosely based on the lives of identical twin sisters, Frida and Greta Chaplin.
01:32In the film, Bloom plays Gareth Mulroney, a sensitive man who finds himself caught between twin sisters Joan and Jean
01:40Holbrook,
01:40played by real-life sisters Rooney and Kate Mara, respectively.
01:45Famed German director Werner Herzog also weighed in on the quote,
01:49Beautiful scene, claiming it has such charm and depth.
01:52He told festival-goers in Spain that there are times when a director has to step back, and recalled telling
01:58Bloom,
01:58You are in bed, and you have two women in your arms. How you deal with it, I cannot give
02:04instructions.
02:04Or as another Redditor put it, of course it's a Herzog film.
