00:45After a cordial meeting with President Trump at Gracie Mansion Monday, Memdani sat down for an interview with CNN, where
00:50he doubled down on his criticisms of Netanyahu, describing the leader as a, quote, war criminal.
00:55When it comes to Benjamin Netanyahu, I have described him as I believe him to be, a war criminal.
01:00Memdani has continuously butted heads with the Israeli leader.
01:03In one video posted in July, the socialist mayor called out Netanyahu as the, quote, architect of a horrific genocide

01:11There is a reason the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for his arrest.

01:35But Netanyahu has been defiant against Memdani, telling Fox News' Maria Bartiromo in July that the mayor was, quote, fomenting
01:42hate and that his threats didn't hold water.
01:44So I think that it's shameful. This thing is very bad for New York. I think it's very bad for
01:50peace.
