Elden Ring #3 | The Chariot Keeps Killing Me!

Today, something SURREAL happened!

I was walking through some kind of poisonous water, and the poison meter kept building up.

So I got out of the water, turned right...

And suddenly, a creepy chariot with a sinister rider came toward me.

I quickly hid inside a little compartment in the wall.

I waited...

And waited...

Until I thought:

"Okay, I'm SAFE!"

But somehow, the wheel touched me...

And I DIED.

So I went back to make absolutely sure that hiding there would work.

IT KILLED ME AGAIN.

At this point, I was tired of embarrassing myself.

Well... at least nobody was watching.

Wait...

IS SOMEBODY WATCHING ME?!

I hope not.

Anyway, I realized the best strategy was simply to wait for the chariot to pass and then move forward.

Wait...

There are some holes up ahead!

Maybe I can hide here.

Okay...

THIS WORKS!

I think this thing might actually be immortal.

Oh, by the way...

I GOT ARMOR!

And I have a shield now too!

So I guess I won't have to worry about running around naked anymore.

My family can finally stop worrying about me.

...Or maybe they still don't know where I am.

Anyway, things were getting a little tense.

Because, you know...

When have things ever NOT been tense in this game?

I turned the next corner and had the feeling that the chariot had turned too.

I also had the feeling that I was being followed.

And then...

IT KILLED ME AGAIN.

After checking the map, I finally discovered where I was.

FRINGEFOLK HERO'S GRAVE.

You know what?

I'm not going through all of that again.

I'm just going to jump down from here.

It looks like I won't die.

And...

Yep!

I escaped that thing!

But after going down, I thought I would finally have some peace.

Of course not.

I encountered something called the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.

Well...

If that's how it's going to be...

Time to test my legendary sword's blue beam!

Wait...

THE SWORD SHOOTS FIRE TOO?!

And apparently this thing is vulnerable to fire!

Perfect!

I've got this!

...

I DIED AGAIN. 😂

Esse final é particularmente bom porque você passa o episódio inteiro sendo perseguido pela carroça e termina pensando que finalmente encontrou uma vantagem — a espada lendária — só para o jogo responder: “legal, agora toma esse Tree Spirit.”
