00:01They're... whatever. Look, I really don't have time for this. I've got places to be.
00:06Welcome to MojoPlays, and today we're taking a look at 10 of the most underrated games,
00:11or hidden gems, on Nintendo Switch 2. For the record, we are looking at games that saw a
00:16dedicated release for Switch 2, not under Switch 2 editions with upgrade packs. Before we begin,
00:22we publish new videos all week long, so be sure to subscribe to MojoPlays and ring the bell to be
00:27notified about our latest videos. Fast Fusion!
00:40Well, if Nintendo isn't going to give us another F-Zero, it's time to start looking for games that
00:45can fill that void, and on Nintendo Switch 2, we already have that. Fast Fusion has you piloting
00:50customizable anti-gravity machines, and racing across vibrant, yet dangerous environments.
00:56Admittedly, it isn't as breakneck fast as F-Zero can be, but in general gameplay, music, and intensity,
01:03it does enough to stand on its own merits, and you don't have to break the bank to enjoy it.
01:07Its full price is a modest 15 bucks, and you can likely get it even cheaper during a sale.
01:22The Tourist Deluxe
01:25The Tourist Deluxe
01:43World, solving puzzles, fishing, searching for hidden collectibles, and fulfilling the needs of
01:47various islanders. With the rise of cozy games over the past few years, it's almost surprising to see
01:53so few people have talked about this game. It isn't one of those, it'll change your life kind of games,
01:58but it will certainly provide an entertaining jaunt, if anything. So if you got the 20 bucks to spare,
02:03and want a chill afternoon or evening, The Tourist is a pretty safe bet.
02:07Mini-Shoot Adventures
02:17If you adore twin stick shooters and top-down action adventure games,
02:21then you absolutely need to jump into mini-shoot adventures. Explore dungeons and fight vicious
02:27bosses as a tiny sentient spaceship set to free its civilization from their crystal prisons. As you
02:33destroy more enemies, you'll earn shards that can be used to upgrade your abilities. Unlike most games
02:39with skill trees, you can delegate your upgrade points wherever you want, whenever you want,
02:44even downgrading one category just to upgrade in another category if you wish to do so. Just spend
02:49an hour or two with the game, and soon enough, you'll be wandering around and taking on all kinds
02:54of special foes for much longer than you may have intended.
03:10Shinobi, Art of Vengeance
03:25With games centered around ninjas and feudal Japan seeing a massive resurgence, one would hope more
03:31would pay attention to the return of Shinobi. After all, Art of Vengeance is perhaps the most gorgeous
03:36looking game the franchise has ever seen. When Obero Village and its people have been raised,
03:42Joe Musashi returns to avenge his clan, equipped with brand new powers to stagger and take down
03:48enemies. And once you've beaten the main story, Musashi can fight against classic Sega villains like
03:53Dr. Eggman and Goro Majima in some DLC boss fights. Honestly, the DLC alone should have made
04:00heads turn at launch. Where's everybody been? Haste
04:18Those wanting a neck-breaking 3D platformer centered on speed should really take a look at Haste.
04:24Clearly inspired by the Sonic games of the 2000s, Haste has you running through procedurally
04:29generated levels before they collapse. During your run, you'll acquire various gadgets to improve
04:35your performance and abilities, allowing you to nail landings more smoothly or deal more damage
04:40to enemies and bosses. Couple the frenetic pacing with a soundtrack filled with tasty jams,
04:45and before you know it, you'll probably drain most of your battery from playing Haste for a few hours.
04:49Namco Legendary Mountains
05:02We don't blame people for not paying much attention to games based on classic Namco properties,
05:07but Namco Legendary Mountains is perfect for those who enjoy puzzle games. Especially puzzle games like
05:13Suika Game launch bubbles of various Namco characters and items to combine them into bigger bubbles.
05:19Should the bowl overflow, your game ends, and you'll wonder how you could have flubbed so easily.
05:24It's a simple concept and a unique approach to the formula Suika Game introduced in 2021,
05:29but if you can only spare a few bucks, then you're better off just getting Suika
05:33Game since it was ported to consoles in 2026, including Nintendo Switch.
05:38Majogami
05:45This action platformer comes from Inti Creates, the same studio behind games like Mega Man Zero,
05:52Azure Striker Gun Vault, and Master Blaster Zero. Majogami puts you in the role of Shiroha, a katana
05:59wielding witch whose father has been turned into paper. To save him, she'll have to fight through a
06:04bizarre and twisted world of magical, menacing monsters. With a gorgeous art style and simple
06:10controls, Majogami is one of the most thrilling games of its genre on Switch 2, and it really
06:16should be getting way more recognition than it has received since launch.
06:28Darwin's Paradox
06:38While we're on the subject of overlooked platformers, Konami published this indie title
06:43for Switch 2 in addition to other major platforms. Meet Darwin, an adorable octopus whose friend has
06:49unfortunately been thrown into an industrial hellscape caused by an evil food corporation.
06:55Darwin must set out to rescue his friend, braving deadly machines, and totally not sinister
07:00corplings from another planet. In addition to the expressive and creative character animations,
07:05Darwin's Paradox also boasts some fun level design that will require precise platforming skills and
07:11use of Darwin's cunning abilities. The game got a bit of attention when it first launched, but even then
07:16it seemed most people just moved on without a second thought. So really, go check this out and try it
07:21for yourself. It's a cool game. People of Note. Hey you, with the sour look! We're minutes away from
07:28Smolder, girl! Cheer up! If you're craving for a turn-based RPG with more of a focus on rhythm,
07:35then People of Note will more than suffice. As Cadence, you will roam the lands of Note in search of
07:41bandmates to help her conquer the Noteworthy Song Contest and stop a deadly natural force known as the
07:47harmonic convergence. And as expected from a game all about music, the game's soundtrack is jammin' from
07:54the very first fight all the way to the finale. So regardless if you're into pop, punk, rock, metal,
08:00EDM, or what have you, People of Note was made for music fans of all types, and classic RPG fans.
08:09Wow. It's interesting, but it's not pop, Kate. I think it's rock.
08:16Kunitsugami, Path of the Goddess
08:29Even though it was initially released on several platforms in 2024, Kunitsugami was a launch game for
08:36Switch 2, and it is still a gem that gets constantly overlooked. Gather resources and
08:42build your defenses during the day. When nightfall arrives, you'll need to fend off demons as the
08:47goddess Yoshiro travels from one destination to another. Between the art style, pacing, and immensely
08:53fun combat, Kunitsugami is a must-play for anybody who is a fan of Capcom, action games, strategy games,
09:00games, or tower defense games. Seriously, you all need to go and check this out. The second this video
09:07is done, go look up Kunitsugami, Path of the Goddess. It's awesome.
