00:16excited to play during the second half of 2024.

00:21Remember these games are games launching in 2024, so as much as we are hyped to see Metroid

00:28Prime 4, don't expect to see this game on the list.

00:32That game does look sick though.

00:52Mario & Luigi Brothership

00:59When Alpha Dream closed its doors after filing for bankruptcy in 2020, it seemed like all

01:05was lost for the Mario & Luigi series.

01:08It has been 5 years since the remake of Bowser's Inside Story, and the 3DS titles Dream Team

01:14and Paper Jam didn't exactly set the world on fire.

01:18So really, Mario & Luigi hasn't had a stellar title since 2009 with the original Bowser's

01:24Inside Story.

01:26But it looks like Nintendo wants this series to have a second life, and Brothership seems

01:30like it'll be a worthy revival.

01:33From the cartoony visuals to the animated cutscenes to the combat, this looks like everything

01:39we could want from a new entry.

01:41Plus, this will be the first time a Mario & Luigi game has launched on a home console,

01:47and it will be out on November 7th, 2024.

01:56LEGO Horizon Adventures

02:05If you own a PlayStation 5, you most likely already know that LEGO Horizon Adventures

02:10will be released on that console.

02:12However, it is also launching on Nintendo Switch, and we want to recognize this.

02:17The game itself looks incredibly fun to play, and it seems like it will play similarly to

02:22the LEGO games from the mid to late 2000s.

02:25But what's really notable about this game is how this is a major Sony IP making its

02:30debut on a Nintendo console.

02:32Yes, we have been getting MLB The Show on Switch since 2022, but that was a decision

02:37likely made by MLB themselves.

02:40LEGO Horizon Adventures is Sony putting their own property on a rival platform, so this

02:46will be an interesting game to observe in sales, just as it will be fun to play.

02:51Nintendo fans will be able to experience Aloy's new adventure when it arrives sometime during

02:55the end-of-year holidays.

03:02Farmagia

03:03If you've been wanting a little more action in your cozy farming games as of late, Farmagia

03:08might scratch that itch for you.

03:11Think of this game as a massive marble cake, a blend of two rich batters coming together

03:17to create a unique flavor.

03:19One flavor, the vanilla, is kind of soothing and pleasant, like the feeling you get from

03:24playing a farming game.

03:25The other flavor, the hefty and intensely sweet chocolate, is the side of the game where

03:30you're collecting monsters to create an army so you can bulk up that vanilla some more,

03:35which can bulk up the chocolate and vice versa.

03:39And in this world where PAL World is only available on Xbox, Farmagia looks like a fun

03:44alternative for those who only own a Switch.

03:48Expect it to launch on Switch on November 1st, 2024.

03:53Phantasian Neo Dimension

03:59Another day, another Square Enix RPG in the bucket, except this one has a unique spin

04:04on things.

04:06Phantasian Neo Dimension, once a JRPG exclusive to Apple Arcade, is making its way to Nintendo

04:11Switch and other platforms this winter.

04:14In addition to its captivating story, those who played it on Apple have enjoyed the creative

04:19combat system where you can adjust the trajectory of your attacks to take out as many enemies

04:24as possible.

04:25We're not quite sure what this was doing being stuck on iPhones and iPads, but we're

04:31stoked to get our hands on this title later this year.

04:39Super Mario Party Jamboree

04:45It's safe to say that Nintendo has finally found a way to keep the party going for Mario

04:50Party fans.

04:51After the successes of Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars, we are now getting

04:56a third Mario Party for Switch, Super Mario Party Jamboree, and it looks like it might

05:01be one of the best games in the franchise.

05:04Not only are we getting a new set of five boards with their own fun gimmicks, traps,

05:09and more, we're also getting two boards remade from the first two Mario Party games.

05:15Western Land has never looked so good!

05:19With more than 110 minigames packed in, Super Mario Party Jamboree looks like yet another

05:25excellent game, and another excuse to call up friends for game night.

05:30Plus, that online support looks surprisingly strong with all those new game modes.

05:36Join the party when it arrives on October 17th, 2024.

05:45Tales of the Shire, a The Lord of the Rings game, and no, I did not say that incorrectly,

05:50that is actually what it's called.

06:01We won't lie, things have been super, super rocky for Lord of the Rings fans.

06:07Gollum was the biggest disaster to come out of gaming in 2023, and that Rings of Power

06:13show seemed to enrage more people than it did satisfy.

06:17So we can understand why some folks might feel a little burned out with Middle Earth.

06:21However, looking at Tales of the Shire, we can't help but be excited.

06:27This is the kind of game we have been wanting from legendary IPs like Lord of the Rings,

06:32games that let us live in the world or sections of the world and experience our own adventures

06:37within them.

06:38Let us play as a hobbit and do things that a normal hobbit would do like grow crops,

06:43hang out with friends, decorate our homes, and cook scrumptious meals.

06:48If this has rejuvenated your interest in Lord of the Rings, you'll be able to pick this

06:51title up on Switch sometime this holiday.

07:00Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection

07:10For us fighting game fans, this was the announcement we have been waiting years for, going all

07:15the way back to 2021 when FGC streamer MaximillianDude helped kickstart the hashtag FreeMVC2 movement.

07:24By the way, has anyone checked to make sure he's still alive?

07:28Max is still alive, right?

07:29He didn't die from the hype, right?

07:40Okay anyways, almost all of the Marvel vs. Capcom series has been stranded on ancient

07:46hardware in what few arcade cabinets remain in the wild.

07:50Now we'll all be able to relive this once-thriving franchise through Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting

07:56Collection.

07:58Collecting just one copy of this collection will grant you access to seven games from

08:03X-Men vs. Street Fighter to The Punisher to, of course, Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

08:09It's gonna take you for a ride when the collection launches on Switch and other platforms later

08:15in 2024.

08:20Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics launches on Nintendo Switch this

08:25year.

08:28Looney Tunes Wacky World of Sports

08:32Okay, so, we know this is a weird deviation from everything else we've talked about

08:45on this list and the kinds of games we typically steer towards when making these sorts of lists,

08:50but this is much more notable than the 30 seconds we saw in the Nintendo Direct let

08:54on.

08:55Once upon a time, Looney Tunes had a stellar career in video games with fantastic games

09:01like Sheep Raider, Duck Dodgers on N64, and Bugs and Taz Time Busters, but after the abysmal

09:08Acme arsenal, there has been little to no effort in reviving Looney Tunes outside of

09:13some cheap mobile games.

09:16Wacky World of Sports looks like a fresh start for a new era of Looney Tunes, one that harkens

09:21back to multiplayer titles like Space Jam, Looney Tunes Racing, and Loon's The Fight

09:26for Fame.

09:27We're optimistic, albeit cautiously, especially since Game Mill Entertainment is the publisher

09:32and they don't exactly have a great track record, but we hope that you'll join us

09:37when Wacky World of Sports launches later in 2024.

09:50THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, ECHOES OF WISDOM

10:03Funny how the series has always been known as The Legend of Zelda, yet Link always takes

10:08center stage.

10:09Well, Echoes of Wisdom is looking to change that for a moment.

10:14For once, Link is the one in trouble, and the only person left to save Hyrule is Zelda

10:20herself.

10:21But you aren't running around as Zelda with a sword and shield, no, Nintendo's got a

10:25more unusual approach to the series we know and love.

10:29Zelda comes with the ability to learn the powers of tables, chairs, and rocks to solve

10:36puzzles and defeat baddies.

10:38Trust us, it is much more interesting in execution than it may sound when said aloud, and if

10:43your curiosity has peaked after seeing the trailer, then you might be happy to know the

10:48release is surprisingly close.

10:50THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, ECHOES OF WISDOM will launch on Nintendo Switch on September 26th,

10:592024.

11:03DRAGON QUEST III HD 2D REMAKE

11:07Square Enix has long kept this title under wraps, having only made the announcement back

11:12in May 2021 with a brief snippet of gameplay, but we finally got a much more in-depth look

11:19at it during Nintendo's June 2024 Direct.

11:22Inspired by Octopath Traveler, Dragon Quest III HD 2D Remake retails the NES original

11:29with a brand new blend of 2D character sprites in beautifully rendered 3D environments.

11:35If you have been looking for a starting point in this franchise, one particular game to

11:40begin your journey across the Dragon Quest timeline, this is the one.

11:44You can play the original game on Switch for an affordable price, but if you can wait,

11:49this remake will be your entry point into one of the best franchises you could jump

11:54into, and you'll be able to play it while we wait for the remake of Dragon Quest I & II.

11:59Get ready to begin the Erdrick Trilogy on November 14th, 2024.
