00:00Welcome back to another Luanty Mod Review.
00:04Today we are looking at the Filled Bottles mod,
00:07which lets you fill bottles with some specific nodes.
00:15Now I am in the MyTestGame environment here,
00:19so I have support for a handful of the nodes within MyTestGame,
00:25but it has support for a handful of other games,
00:30and mods, so there are plenty of options available.
00:36Now the bottles themselves are made or obtained just as a normal bottle,
00:44so you go ahead and craft yourself a glass bottle,
00:46and then you actually just click on the node with the bottle to fill the bottle with the node.
00:51So we are going to go ahead and run outside here
00:56where I have strategically located some dirt.
01:00And we will notice in my inventory I have some Tundra Moss, which I'll just put in there.
01:06And I have 73 empty glass bottles, so we're going to go ahead and start filling glass bottles with dirt.
01:11So you'll notice as I'm punching the node here,
01:14I get a bottle of dirt.
01:18And you may also have noticed that after 10 bottles of dirt, my dirt node is no more.
01:25And if I do the same thing with snow,
01:29and this one's kind of a fun little tidbit,
01:33so it's a slab of snow, but I still get 10 bottles full of snow.
01:38And then this is dirt with snow.
01:42And again, 10 bottles full.
01:46I must have clicked on one of something extra.
01:49And now there's a fun little feature here.
01:54If I go ahead.
01:55All right, so I got 8 bottles worth of snow out of this node.
01:58Now if I dig this node, there is a chance...
02:01Yep, perfect.
02:02There's a chance that it doesn't drop anything.
02:04Because I have essentially taken all of that node to fill the bottles.
02:11And then it's a random chance based on how many times the node has been used to fill the bottle.
02:18Now once I have done this,
02:21I now have bottles of dirt,
02:24I can't actually get the dirt back.
02:26So if I place these nodes on the ground like so,
02:30and then I go ahead and break them,
02:32I get them back as dirt.
02:35And if I shift click or punch,
02:38nothing changes there.
02:40Now you may notice,
02:41if you can see the tiny little numbers in inventory,
02:45which I understand can be difficult on some screens,
02:49we have something interesting going on.
02:52When I punch the dirt with a bottle filled with dirt,
02:56I actually lose the bottle of dirt and regain an empty bottle.
03:01Now you will notice that I'm not putting a dirt node down at all.
03:06I'm just emptying the bottles, getting the empty bottles back,
03:08but I'm essentially losing the contents.
03:12Now does this matter?
03:14Maybe, maybe not.
03:15It depends on what you're collecting in your bottles.
03:19Now what are the uses for the bottles?
03:21Well, actually, there are none.
03:24If we look through all of the different recipes available here with bottles,
03:30you actually have no uses for any of them.
03:34That's kind of left up to other mods to implement uses for the bottles filled with the different elements.
03:41Now I do have, is it in this chest?
03:43Yeah, it's in this chest.
03:45Now I don't think this is a full list of every single one that's available to me.
03:49Actually, I know it's not because in inventory it was,
03:52you know, actually, let's just look at it in inventory because then we have everything.
03:55So you can do bottle of clay,
03:58kind of furious litter,
03:59desert sand,
04:01dirt,
04:01dry dirt,
04:03dry grass,
04:04bottle of grass,
04:05gravel,
04:06lava,
04:07tundra moss,
04:08rainforest litter,
04:09river water,
04:10sand,
04:11silver sand,
04:12snow,
04:13and water.
04:14So you have river water and water.
04:16And again, they act the same.
04:18Now the only one here that behaves differently than others,
04:22if I could spell correctly,
04:25is the bottle of lava.
04:28So the lava actually makes an excellent,
04:31an excellent light source.
04:33So if I were to come in here and knock out these torches,
04:37I didn't put a roof on this building because I was just too lazy and I didn't feel like doing
04:41all that extra work.
04:42So you'll see it's,
04:43you know,
04:43it's kind of dark.
04:44Obviously we got the moonlight and everything,
04:46but we can put a bottle of lava out here and it behaves exactly the same as a torch would.
04:52So I can go ahead and break that with the torch,
04:53put the torch down,
04:54same amount of light,
04:57but it's in a bottle instead of a torch.
05:01So you can use the lava bottles as light sources.
05:04Again,
05:05you can get 10 lava bottles from a lava node.
05:10So that could actually be useful.
05:13If you were underground someplace and you didn't happen to have any wood on you,
05:19so you used to make torches,
05:21you could make light sources by collecting lava.
05:25Of course,
05:25you'd have to have lava around in there.
05:26It would have to be a sand source or you would need glass in your inventory so you could make
05:30bottles.
05:31So,
05:31yeah,
05:33it's,
05:33it's an option,
05:34but you still have to have resources on hand to get it.
05:37And you can't necessarily always find sand underground.
05:39Although I will say this,
05:41you're probably have a better chance of finding sand underground than you do wood.
05:46So there is that.
05:49Um,
05:51yeah.
05:52Other than that,
05:54the bottles,
05:55oops,
05:56I don't want to look at the bookshelf.
05:57I want to look at the bottle shelf.
05:58The bottles can be placed into the bottle shelf.
06:01I think I can,
06:02yeah,
06:02you can put a whole stack in there.
06:04So you can put your,
06:05your bottles in vessel shelves,
06:08or you can place them on top of things.
06:11Uh,
06:11you know,
06:12if you want to place it on top of the shelf,
06:13you just have to shift to click to put it up there.
06:15Cause of course,
06:16clicking on the inventory will open or clicking on the note will open its inventory.
06:21So just,
06:21well,
06:22I guess sneak click more appropriately because your sneak key could be set to something different.
06:27Um,
06:29and yeah,
06:30that,
06:30that honestly is about it.
06:32So if you're interested in this mod,
06:34it is on the content database.
