00:04Booters had no problem getting up all the way out onto a tree limb, but once she realized
00:09getting back down would be trickier, she settled there meowing for help.
00:13Her family grabbed a sheep, just in case she slipped, and called rescuer Steve Murrow.
00:20Booters probably isn't the first cat you've seen stuck in a tree on the dodo.
00:24And that's because we've been spotlighting Steve's rescues over the past few weeks,
00:28and it isn't hard to see why.
00:30And the more I watch him, the more I realize that no two cat rescues are ever quite the same.
00:36Because Booters is usually suspicious of strangers, Steve knew that patience would be key.

00:47One of my favorite parts is how Steve talks to her the whole time.

00:57No rushing, no sudden movements.
01:00Just this calm, reassuring voice.
01:03And little by little, Booters finally started to trust him.
01:07Instead of climbing further away, she actually started inching towards Steve.
01:12That's the moment we started to realize, this rescue might just work.
01:16Before long, Steve was able to gently scoop her up and get her safely back to the ground.
