00:00How are you?
00:02I'm having a good time. I mean, I'm better now that you're on stream with me.
00:05Period. Now I'm happy to be here. Oh, you hot. It's hot out here in Trinidad.
00:10It's hot in Trinidad. We are back home in the Caribbean, okay?
00:13You have four nominations tonight.
00:16Shake It To The Max has been the monstrous song of the past two years now.
00:20Did you expect all this kind of love when you first made this song?
00:23Honestly, I wasn't sure where it was going. I was just going with the flow, but where it landed me,
00:27I couldn't be happier.
00:28You know, I just really couldn't. It couldn't have gone any better.
00:32Absolutely.
00:32And we're here in Trinidad this year. What does it mean for you to actually celebrate in the Caribbean as
00:37opposed to being outside of the Caribbean for an award show like this?
00:40You know, it means a lot to me because I think for me, I would just love to keep growing
00:46this connection that I built with the Caribbean community.
00:49It's so important to me, so yeah, it means a lot for me to be here.
00:52And you continue building those connections on your new project, Baddies Love Mali.
00:56What's been the most exciting song to perform live from that project?
01:00From that project? Ooh.
01:02I think right now Shake It To The Max is still in the lead just because like, everybody just gets
01:08like, you know, it's a tough one to beat, but we'll get there.
01:13We will get there, but we'll see you inside. Congratulations tonight. Good luck. Have so much fun tonight. Thank you
01:18for stopping by. Love you.
