Three Aussie suburbs made the top 40.
Time Out (@timeout) has named the world's 40 coolest neighbourhoods for 2026. Seoul's Jongno 3-ga takes the top spot, ahead of L'Ocean District in Rabat, Neos Kosmos in Athens and Chinatown in Los Angeles.
Brisbane's New Farm is the highest-ranked Australian entry at number 29. North Hobart follows at 32, then South Melbourne at 39, home of the South Melbourne Market (@southmelbournemarket), which opened in 1867.
