00:00Here are five things that I learned about the iPhone 18 Pro Max in the last five days of using
00:05it. And number one, the first thing that I want to do is explore that new mechanical variable
00:08aperture. I don't think it's going to be a game changer for the casual user, but content creators
00:13and professionals will absolutely fall in love with it. I love the fact that I can dial it all
00:17the way down to f1.48 to get better background blur than the iPhone 17 Pro, but then dial it
00:23back up to f4 to get better low light. Speaking of camera upgrades, something that I've used a
00:27whole lot are the new photographic styles three. So it kind of works a little bit like a Fujifilm
00:31camera and they've added grain and texture control now. And using the camera control button, when you
00:36half press it, I've dialed this thing in so I can switch between all of the different photographic
00:40styles. It's basically an iPhone recipe. And number three, it's the battery life. I know it's become a
00:44total cliche to mention the camera and then the battery life, but you're getting up to 43 hours
00:48of video playback here with the new iPhone 18 Pro Max. That's up 18 hours on the iPhone 16 Pro.
00:54And
00:54then piggybacking off the battery upgrades, it brings me on to number four, because this thing
00:58charges faster than any other iPhone before it. You can get 50% battery in just a 15 minute charge.
01:03I can just chuck this thing on charge in the morning, take a shower. And by the time I get
01:06out,
01:07it's all ready for the day. And then at number five, it is the new colors. I do sorely miss
01:11the
01:11carrot phone, but this glacier is a bit of a sleeper. Sure, the burgundy is going to steal all the
01:15headlines, but glacier with the case, I think it just looks so good. But they're just the five things
01:21that I've learned in the last five days of using this phone. Feels like I haven't even touched the
01:25surface yet.
