00:00And there's a lot of eyes on Whitney because of what she's been saying at drag brunches and beyond.
00:06And it seems like it's going to be a long season for her.
00:10Does she try to make amends with you?
00:11I guess that depends on how you define that, you know.
00:15Oh, gosh.
00:16To really make amends with someone, you have to be genuine in your convictions.
00:20You have to be accountable for your behavior.
00:23You have to own up to things you have not been honest about.
00:27And if you're just going to say, no, I don't hate you, I'm sorry, but I went and told the
00:32whole world I hated you in some drunken rage, like, it doesn't work that way.
00:36You have to actually be very convicted and genuine in it for it to resonate.
00:41I mean, for her to just say, I'm sorry I said that, that's for her.
00:45That's really not for me.
00:46Yeah.
00:47You know, and that's fine.
00:48Right.
00:48It's okay.
00:49But that doesn't do anything for you.
00:50I'm at peace.
00:50Well, you know, I'm at peace.
00:52Because at the end of the day, for me, what Whitney did was a gift.
00:57You know, I've spent six years having her come after my dead father and tell me it was out of
01:05love for me, project her own substance abuse issues onto me and say it was out of love for me,
01:14and say all these things were out of kindness and love when the reality is they were out of hate.
01:18And so I'm okay with that.
01:21Like, thank you.
01:22You can't gaslight me anymore.
01:24I was thinking that when she started the episode saying she wants to change her relationship with alcohol.
01:30When I was like, oh, last season, she talked about you and alcohol every single episode.
01:35When she's sitting there screaming alcoholic at me, I'm drinking tea.
01:41And she's on her seventh or eighth cup of wine where she actually got up, got the bottle and brought
01:46it and plopped it down next to her.
01:50So, yeah, proof's in the pudding, I guess, at the end of the day.
01:54With the context of knowing that Whitney admitted, she's admitting now that she had an issue coping with alcohol, and
02:02when she said those things about you, she was heavily leaning on alcohol because she was going through a lot
02:06in her marriage.
02:07Does that make you feel any differently, or is it just like, oh, that's her problem?
02:11I guess if she's willing to admit that she has been projecting her problems onto me, not just this one,
02:18but many of them over the years, yes, of course it would.
02:21But if we're not going to get that truthful admission and all of, you know, come clean on all this
02:28stuff, then, you know, you're still doing the same thing at the end of the day.
02:32And so you can't be sorry when you keep doing it.
02:35Right.
