JV Ejercito saddened by Duterte’s ICC appearance

'Konti na lang, palito na eh.' Senate Senior Deputy Majority Leader JV Ejercito admits he felt sad after seeing former president Rodrigo Duterte appear before the International Criminal Court (ICC), recalling his past working relationship with the former chief executive and his support for his administration's infrastructure projects.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Ejercito says he had worked with Duterte during his presidency, particularly in connection with the administration’s “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure program.
