Trillanes 'ready to testify' in Duterte impeachment trial

Former senator Antonio Trillanes IV arrives at the Senate impeachment court for the trial of Vice President Sara Duterte to testify on Article II of the impeachment complaint, which involves allegations of unexplained wealth against Duterte, on Sept. 29, 2026. He served as resource person during the House of Representatives’ April 22 impeachment hearing, where he presented alleged bank transactions involving the Duterte family. Trillanes has alleged that Duterte and her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, maintained undisclosed bank accounts.
