00:00we would get in trouble for going into the kitchen and stealing food and i remember um she would tell
00:05us like you're liars and you're thieves and if you'll lie and steal then you'll also kill because
00:11we went in the kitchen and got ourselves something to eat without asking her first that food control
00:17only escalated from there i remember i was in sixth grade at the time like we came home from
00:23school and she basically was like there's a can of peaches sitting next to her an empty can of
00:29peaches and she was like i found this can of peaches in the recycling bin where did these
00:34peaches come from and she was really really upset like hounded us about it for hours and hours and
00:40hours until finally my twin sister was just like you know what like fine i ate the peaches but that
00:46wasn't good enough and so she decided that we would um be subjected to staying awake for 24 hours a
00:55day
00:55until one of us confessed to eating this can of peaches and it went on for weeks um where we
01:00were
01:01not allowed to sleep we had to sit in her room we weren't allowed to sleep we weren't allowed to
01:05even
01:05like get up to go to the bathroom and when we first moved in with her our town had fundraised
01:10a lot of
01:10money for me and my siblings and so she used that money to not only to rent out like a
01:16larger house
01:18she also had her own daughter who was 17 at the time and she would tell us things like
01:22you lost your mom but my daughter lost her mom too because i'm here with you guys
