00:00In the last two years, we have won more conservative victories than any time since you and I've been
00:05alive. And it's one of the dangers of sort of terminally online people is they're just not
00:11enough, not enough anger. And I get anger. And I wish we'd done more. But if you look at, all
00:17right,
00:19we invested over $100 billion in border security, the biggest investment in border security in
00:24American history, illegal border crossings dropped 99%. Murder rates dropped 20%. Deaths from drug
00:31overdoses dropped 20%. We passed the biggest tax cut in American history, no tax on tips, no tax on
00:37overtime, no tax on social security. The two most consequential elements of that bill, school choice,
00:45we passed the biggest federal school choice program in American history, and the Trump accounts. And by
00:50the way, both of those I wrote, both school choice and Trump accounts, I'm the author of that
00:54legislation. I think 10, 20, 30 years from now, those will be the most consequential elements of
01:00the entire bill. Those are big, big victories. So do I wish we had done more? Yes, yes, yes.
01:08But I do think there's a tendency to dismiss the enormous victories that have been won.
01:12And I will say victories stop. If we have a Chuck Schumer Democrat Senate,
01:20zero legislative victories happen for the next two years, and it just becomes total war on Trump.
01:24So even if you're the most hardcore, passionate right-wing voter, and I'm very much there,
01:34handing the Senate over to a bunch of lunatics who hate America is a really bad way of vindicating
01:39those principles. So how do you get those sort of grumpy voters, conservative voters off the couch to
01:47vote in the midterm? You've got to inspire them, and I think inspire them as to what the stakes are,
01:52why it matters.
