00:51The sacrifices God desires are a humble spirit, O God, a humble and repentant heart you will
01:01not reject.
01:05Dearly beloved brothers and sisters, the scripture moves us in sundry places to acknowledge and
01:13confess our many sins and wickedness. We should not justify nor hide them before the face of
01:20Almighty God our Heavenly Father, but confess them with a humble, lowly, penitent and obedient
01:27heart, to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same, by his infinite goodness and mercy.
01:39Although we ought always to humbly acknowledge our sins before God, we should do this particularly
01:46when we assemble and meet together, to give thanks for the great benefits we have received
01:51at his hands, to give him most worthy praise, to hear his most holy word, and to ask those
01:59things which are truly necessary, as well for the body as the soul.
02:07Therefore I pray and ask you, who are present here today, to accompany me with a pure heart
02:13and humble voice, to the throne of the heavenly grace, as we say together.
02:20Father, Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from your ways like
02:26lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended
02:34against your holy laws. We have failed to do those things which we ought to have done, and
02:41we have done things which we ought not to have done, and so there is no health in us.
02:49But you, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable sinners. Spare those, O God, who confess their
02:56faults. Restore those who are truly penitent, according to your promises declared to mankind
03:03in Christ Jesus our Lord. Grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake, that we may be
03:11hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory of your holy name. Amen.
03:22Grant, we beseech you, merciful Lord, to your faithful people, pardon and peace, that they

06:24O Lord, hear my prayer. Pay attention to my plea for help. Because of your faithfulness and justice,

06:42Certainly my enemies chase me. They smash me into the ground. They force me to live in dark regions,
06:49like those who have been dead for ages. My strength leaves me. I am absolutely shocked.
06:59I recall the old days. I meditate on all you have done. I reflect on your accomplishments.
07:08I spread out my hands to you in prayer. My soul thirsts for you in a parched land.
07:16Answer me quickly, O Lord. My strength is fading.
07:21Do not reject me, or I will join those descending into the grave. May I hear about your loyal love

08:34The prophet Daniel, chapter 10. In the third year of Cyrus, king of Persia,
08:41a thing was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar. And the thing was true,
08:48even a great warfare. He understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
08:56In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three whole weeks. I ate no pleasant bread. No meat or wine came
09:04into my mouth. I did not anoint myself at all until three whole weeks were fulfilled.
09:15On the 24th day of the first month, as I was standing by the side of the great river,
09:22I lifted up my eyes and looked. There was a man clothed in linen, whose thighs were adorned with
09:29the pure gold of Uphaz. His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning,
09:38his eyes as flaming torches. His arms and his feet were like burnished brass.
09:46The voice of his words was like the voice of a multitude. I, Daniel, alone saw the vision. For the
09:54men who were with me did not see the vision, but a great quaking fell on them, and they fled
10:00to hide
10:00themselves. So I was left alone and saw this great vision. No strength remained in me, for my face grew
10:10deathly pale, and I retained no strength. And yet I heard the voice of his words. And when I heard
10:19the
10:20voice of his words, I fell into a deep sleep on my face, with my face toward the grip. And
10:27behold,
10:28a hand touched me, which set me on my knees and on the palms of my hands. And he said
10:33to me,
10:33Daniel, you greatly beloved man, understand the words that I speak to you and stand upright,
10:41for I have been sent to you now. And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.
10:51Then he said to me, do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the very first day that you set your
10:56heart to
10:57understand and to humble yourself before God, your words have been heard. I have come for the sake of
11:04your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me for 21 days. But behold, Michael, one of
11:14the chief princes came to help me, because I remained there with the kingdom of Persia. And now I have

11:21to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision is yet for
11:29many days. When he had spoken, I set my face toward the ground and was mute. And behold, one in

11:41likeness of the sons of men touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke, saying to him who
11:49stood
11:49before me, my Lord, by reason of the vision, my sorrows have overtaken me, and I am no longer strong.
11:57For how can the servants of this my Lord talk with this my Lord? For as for me, immediately there
12:05remained no strength in me. There was no breath left in me. Then one, like the appearance of a man,
12:13touched me again, and he strengthened me, saying, Greatly, beloved man, don't be afraid. Peace be to
12:20you. Be strong. Yes, be strong. And when he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, Let my Lord
12:29speak,
12:29for you have strengthened me. Then he said, Do you know why I have come to you? Now I must
12:38return to
12:39fight with the Prince of Persia. When I go out, behold, the Prince of Greece will come. But I will
12:46tell
12:46you that which is inscribed in the writing of truth. There is no one who holds with me against these,
12:54but Michael your Prince.
12:59This is the word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
13:15Mary said, My soul exalts the Lord, and my spirit has begun to rejoice in God my Saviour,
13:24because he has looked upon the humble state of his servant.
13:29For from now on all generations will call me blessed,
13:33because he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
13:40From generation to generation he is merciful to those who fear him. He has demonstrated power with
13:49his arm. He has scattered those whose pride wells up from the sheer arrogance of their hearts.
13:56He has brought down the mighty from their thrones and has lifted up those of lowly position.
14:03He has filled the hungry with good things and has sent the rich away empty.
14:09He has helped his servant Israel, remembering his mercy as he promised to our ancestors,
14:17to Abraham and to his descendants for ever.

14:39The Revelation of St John Chapter 14
14:44I saw a white cloud, and on the cloud I saw one seated, like a son of man, having on
14:52his head a crown of gold,
14:54and in his hand a sharp curved blade.
15:00Another angel came out from the house of God, crying with a loud voice to him who was seated on
15:06the cloud.
15:08Put in your blade and let the grain be cut, because the hour for cutting it has come.
15:16The grain of the earth is over ready.
15:21He who was seated on the cloud sent in his blade upon the earth, and the grain of the earth
15:27was cut.
15:30Yes, another angel came out from the house of God, which is in heaven, having a sharp curved blade.
15:37Another angel came out from the altar, who has power over fire, and he gave a loud cry to the
15:43one who had the sharp curved blade, saying,
15:47Put in your sharp blade, and let the grapes of the vine of the earth be cut, for her grapes
15:54are fully ready.
15:57The angel set his blade into the earth, and the vine of the earth was cut, and he put it
16:03into the great vine crusher of the wrath of God.
16:08The grapes were crushed underfoot outside the town, and blood came out of them, even to the headbands of the
16:16horses, for two hundred miles.
16:35Now according to your word, Sovereign Lord, permit your servant to depart in peace.
16:42For my eyes have seen your salvation, that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for
16:50revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.
16:57Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,

17:13I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our
17:21Lord,
17:22who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered unto Pontius Pilate,
17:31was crucified, dead, and buried.
17:34He descended into hell.
17:36On the third day he rose again from the dead.
17:40He ascended into heaven, and is sitting at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
17:47From there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
17:52I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
