00:00I think the delays in the build-out of AI is all going to make AI the domain of large
00:08firms.
00:10We have shortages in so many countries of inexpensive energy.
00:16We have shortages of chips and memory.
00:21And as these shortages continue, it's very expensive to build out AI.
00:28And it's with that expense, it's more of the domain of large companies.
00:33And the faster we can build out more capacity, the more we can democratize and make it available for everyone.
00:43And I think the dichotomy that we're facing right now, it's the populism that's creating the slowdown
00:49because we have not articulated and defined what best practice is, and I think that's obviously urgently necessary.
00:55But the irony is it actually slows down the democratization of technology.
01:01And technology works best when it's dispersed across society.
01:08And if we are going to see the societal delays, whether they're in Europe or, let's say, New York State,
01:17it then creates a longer guide path to make this technology available for more.
01:26And that's one of the real critical issues.
01:29These delays make it harder, not better.
01:33But we do need the guidelines.
01:34We need the best practices to be doing it.
01:38And I think this is going to be one of the more serious conversations about how do we make this
01:44technology available for everyone.
01:46Of course, this is how
01:46to support all of us.
