Jerry’s Date Has a Plus One on Seinfeld

Jerry scores two tickets to the Tony Awards and invites his new girlfriend Lanette. But when he arrives to pick her up, he meets Lyle — a mysterious dude hanging around her apartment who leaves Jerry completely confused about exactly what their relationship is.

Seinfeld turned dating uncertainty into comedy, and Jerry’s inability to figure out whether Lyle is Lanette’s boyfriend, roommate or something else entirely becomes the kind of social mystery he simply cannot leave alone.
