00:15Comrades, today, Tuesday, the 13 Beijing Shenzhen Forum has begun here in the Chinese capital,
00:23one of the major international gatherings organized by China on security and defense issues.
00:30Official delegations from nearly 100 countries, regions and international organizations arrived in Beijing to take part in the event,
00:41alongside experts and scholars from China and other countries.
00:45More than 60 participants at the ministerial level or above, as well as chiefs of general staffs of the armed
00:55force, have arrived in here.
00:59The forum is also taking place at a symbolical moment.
01:03This year marks the 20th anniversary of its establishment.
01:08Over three days, through September 17, participants will discuss issues related to strategic stability, regional conflicts, security in the Asia
01:20-Pacific and the role and perspective of developing countries.
01:25The agenda includes four plenary sessions and eight parallel sessions.
01:31Under the theme of building consensus for stability and advancing security governance together,
01:39the forum is taking place amid profound international transformation and new security challenges,
01:47and seeks to promote dialogue and cooperation with developing countries.
