00:00Nous sommes Redemption Road, les créateurs de Kingmakers.
00:04Pour les dernières années, nous avons développé Kingmakers
00:07en notre propre version custom de Unreal Engine 4.
00:11Kingmakers est notre rêve game,
00:14attempting quelque chose qu'il n'a jamais fait avant,
00:17et nous sommes heureux de partager avec vous.
00:30C'est simple question.
00:33What if you brought modern weapons to the Middle Ages
00:37in order to rewrite history?
00:40In Kingmakers, you travel to 1403
00:43to help Owen Gwyndor transform a Welsh Rebellion into an empire.
00:50My beloved, must you kill so many people?
00:53Well, unfortunately, these brilliant English scientists
00:56sent me back a thousand years
00:58to get your dad on the throne.
01:00And I don't have another way to do that.
01:02What about diplomacy?
01:03Ha!
01:04You think your dad used diplomacy in the original timeline
01:07when he conquered England?
01:08You think he had a tea party with King Henry VIII?
01:11Henry V.
01:12Huh? What?
01:14You're there to help Wales defeat Henry V.
01:17You know, Battle of Agincourt.
01:20You're not just a foot soldier in Kingmakers.
01:23You're responsible for the army itself,
01:26using an interface similar to games like Age of Empires,
01:30Stronghold or Mana Lords.
01:32As you claim territory, you'll lay siege to enemy castles,
01:36establish settlements in hostile lands
01:39and defend them against attacks from massive armies.
01:43Even with an army at your side,
01:45you're still heavily outnumbered.
01:47You're the deciding factor with an arson.
01:50Guns, vehicles, air support from the future.
01:54Kingmakers 10 is truly groundbreaking.
01:57Every mission features tens of thousands of soldiers
02:00with the same level of fidelity that you'd expect from a triple-A shooter.
02:06Every tree and building is fully destructible.
02:12The result is an incredibly unique experience
02:16that can be played solo or in up to four-player co-op.
02:20Kingmakers uses the already performant Unreal Engine 4
02:24with our own custom tech on top,
02:27with a focus on maximizing CPU and GPU performance.
03:03We've designed Kingmakers to be a great single-player experience.
03:08But the entire campaign is playable in drop-in, drop-out, four-player co-op.
03:14In the timeline we're familiar with,
03:171402, the Welsh noble Oane Gwyndor rebelled against England
03:22to gain independence for Wales.
03:25Unfortunately, his rebellion was crushed.
03:28However, this is not the true timeline.
03:31It's an alteration caused by a mysterious force called the Precept.
03:37But if in the original timeline
03:40my father defeated King Henry and conquered England,
03:43then why do you need to fix things?
03:45Who changed everything?
03:47Someone bad.
03:49In the true timeline,
03:50Oane Gwyndor was successful.
03:53This is the timeline you must restore.
03:56And we're to believe that unless Wales conquers England,
04:00the whole Earth gets destroyed?
04:04Yep, and it's way bigger than you think.
04:07You don't even know about America.
04:09As you progress through the campaign,
04:12you'll encounter increasingly difficult foes
04:14from both the past and future
04:16who want to preserve the timeline the way it is.
04:19It's on you to send whatever silver, copper and gold you find
04:24back to the present day
04:26so your support team can buy you better weapons.
04:29This includes submachine guns, automatic rifles,
04:33mini guns, grenade launchers
04:34and eventually things like turrets, airstrikes, tanks and helicopters.
04:46When establishing a new settlement in hostile territory,
04:50you're responsible for building farms, lumber mills
04:53and other structures to get your economy up and running.
04:57As you explore each territory on foot or on wheels,
05:00you'll also be able to loot English villages and forts.
05:24At any point, you can switch to the strategy view.
05:28From here, you can give orders, construct buildings, commission officers
05:33and call up new levies of soldiers.
05:41To sustain a settlement, you'll need to house your peasants,
05:45establish farms on fertile soil and harvest lumber from nearby forests.
05:51If fortune favours you, silver or iron deposits may be within reach.
05:57As a settlement expands, so too must its walls and fortifications.
06:04Every structure you build is true to life in scale,
06:08fully furnished, navigable and destructible.
06:29With a barracks built, you can train soldiers.
06:32At first, you'll only be able to recruit poorly trained peasants.
06:35But, as a settlement expands, you'll field cavalry, archers, berserkers,
06:41men-at-arms and more.
06:43Each has its own unique advantages on the battlefield.
06:48As you conquer territory, you'll need to complete unique objectives
06:52in service of owing Gwyndor's rebellion.
06:55A mission might task you with sieging an enemy castle,
06:59chasing down an English spy
07:00or escorting Welsh noblemen through your territory.
07:05If you're playing the campaign in Coa, each player will command his own army.
07:11But conquering territory won't go unchallenged.
07:15English barons and nobles will throw massive armies at your settlements.
07:20Engagements in Kingmakers often involve thousands of soldiers,
07:24each making his own decisions on when to attack, when to back off and when to retreat.
07:30Dictated by a complex system of morale and loyalties.
07:35Taking one end could trigger fellow soldiers to run in fear,
07:40counterattack in a vengeful rage.
07:51If you take down a high-ranking officer, this can cause a domino effect that leads to a massive retreat.
08:12and maybe a protractors can actually run in fear and fight them.
08:13All right.
08:13Let's do it.
08:13Let's see.
08:13We see if the gun is damaged.
08:14What time are these creatures?
08:15What do you think?
08:16We'll all issue with transgressions.
08:17We have to protect their settlements and Tekens.
08:19We're here for each other.
08:20We're here.
08:20We can shoot them.
08:24We're here for each other.
08:25We're here for each other.
08:26We've seen Throne's aktiv,
08:26Sous-titrage Société Radio-Canada
08:56...like walls, archer towers, ballistas and trebuchets can make the difference.
09:02Your team in the present can also help with air support and turrets.
09:07In Kingmakers, battlefields are built at true-to-life scale.
09:12Fortunately, you can call in a motorcycle to get around quickly.
09:22Later in the campaign, you'll be able to call in cars and trucks that offer more protection.
09:34Eventually, you'll earn armoured vehicles and tanks.
09:40As you rack up victories, the enemy will promote more powerful officers, often equipping them with thick, heavy iron armour
09:50and shields.
09:51These are capable of deflecting lower-caliber bullets, to weapon upgrades are crucial.
09:57A heavily armoured knight won't hesitate to charge through his own men, or burst through a wall to get it.
10:18Enemy officers are valuable when captured alive.
10:21You can ransom them for gold, torture them for info, or execute them to boost your army's morale.
10:34As you expand your conquest across England and Scotland, you'll earn experience to permanently upgrade your character class,
10:43unlocking new weapons and abilities for yourself and for your soldiers.
10:47The perk's hard完了 for them to allow them to
