00:00Political relations must begin by the sincere appreciation of the need, the strength of one another,
00:11the respect that we have at the personal level and on behalf of our country.
00:16That is why when the President showed such fondness and commitment,
00:23I then propose that the Joint Commission between the two countries be facilitated at the earliest possible time.
00:35And we can even explore the possibility of having the meeting.
00:41We will host it in Kuala Lumpur before the end of this year.
00:45And that would showcase our commitment to enhance bilateral relations between our two brotherly and sisterly country.
00:55On the issue you mentioned about healthcare, education, we have more than 2,000 of different students in Malaysia.
01:05And that shows the level of not only trust as friends, but your confidence in the educational system.
01:15We need to reciprocate to facilitate some teething bureaucratic issues in terms of process to get parents,
01:25sometimes to accompany the children.
01:27I discussed with my colleagues and we will try and resolve this by the next cabinet meeting to tick up
01:35this issue.
01:36Because I don't think it is an issue of policy, differences.
01:39We don't have problems with Maldivian living in Malaysia, working in Malaysia, or even studying in Malaysia.
01:46So I think we will showcase this and respond positively.
01:50Similarly, on the issue of healthcare,
01:54the Madani Economic Framework places so much importance about compassion and caring,
02:08So I don't believe that this issue cannot be resolved because it's part of a national philosophy.
02:17What is development and progress if you don't show care and compassion.
02:21And so I do want this to be again resolved immediately.
02:30I mean, not even hundreds, it's just a few cases that we should respond and assist.
02:39I mean, not just 120 years ago, but it's still a very big task.
