00:00But the reason I felt like Jackson Dart played so well
00:04is because he was making so many quick decisions.
00:08Every time that he, like for instance,
00:10the last touchdown that they threw to Devin Singletary,
00:14Motor Singletary, they got Isaiah Likely coming in motion,
00:18Theo Johnson's already lined up to the left side of the offense,
00:21and both tight ends are kind of running these bend,
00:23like these arc routes, these bend-in routes,
00:27and it rubs the linebacker who kind of gets lost
00:31in between those two tight ends.
00:33And Jackson Dart wants to throw it to either one of those tight ends.
00:36Is one of those guys coming open?
00:37He could sit there and wait and wait and wait,
00:39try to get it in the second or the third window,
00:41or scramble and make something spectacular try to happen with his legs.
00:45But instead, he looks at it for one, two, three, back.
00:50Goes to the back, walk-in touchdown.
00:52So those type of quick decisions put defenses in conflict.
00:57And when you do that, and you get them guessing where he's going,
01:02good things happen.
01:03Last year, he would wait on those things.
01:05This year, he's found the value of the check down, right?
01:09Your outlet to make a bad play into an okay play,
01:15sometimes even a great play.
01:16And it's an evolution that all young quarterbacks have to make
01:20because they want to throw the ball downfield.
01:22They want to be that hero.
01:23They want to be the guy who throws the touchdown pass.
01:26But sometimes just getting positive yardage is the best thing you can do
01:29because ultimately it turns into, as we saw in that last touchdown,
01:32a touchdown.
