00:18Had a chance to look at some film.
00:19What have you learned?
00:22That you have to take chances.
00:24You have to take opportunities
00:26when you get them.
00:28We had opportunities.
00:30We had opportunities to turn the ball over on defense.
00:32We had opportunities to hit
00:35some more X plays
00:37or what could have been X plays.
00:39And then certainly,
00:40you can't turn the football over.
00:44I learned that
00:45we did a nice job covering kickoffs.
00:47We had some young guys out there.
00:49We had a lot of young guys that were playing in their first game
00:51in an amazing environment
00:54against an all-pro returner.
00:58And I kind of liked
00:59what I saw from some of those guys
01:01on that unit.
01:02And again,
01:03you can find
01:04the good,
01:05the bad,
01:06and obviously the things
01:07that get us beat
01:08in every single game.
01:09And that's what we focused on yesterday.
01:11And, you know,
01:13I had to sit on it for a few days
01:14just because of the schedule
01:15and then the players
01:16not being in.
01:17So,
01:18that's what we did yesterday.
01:19Mike,
01:20when you look at it
01:20from an offensive perspective,
01:23how do you
01:23like really know
01:24when you want to be
01:25a little bit more aggressive
01:26versus maybe trying to be
01:28a little bit more conservative
01:29or like when you want to take your shots
01:31or maybe just have some,
01:32try to obviously get those explosive plays.
01:35But when do you kind of
01:35figure that out
01:36as a coaching staff?
01:38Well,
01:38I mean,
01:38you have to be able to
01:39take what they give you.
01:40And,
01:41you know,
01:43that particular team,
01:45what they
01:46really hang their head on
01:47is being able to
01:50stop the run
01:50with the seven guys
01:52that they have
01:54up front
01:55and play a very good
01:57shell defense.
01:58And,
01:59you know,
01:59you saw when we tried
02:00to move the ball
02:01down the field.
02:01I mean,
02:03that's what they do.
02:04And so,
02:05the opportunities
02:06have got to be
02:08some catch and run opportunities
02:10or,
02:11you know,
02:12to be able to protect
02:12a second longer
02:14to allow the quarterback
02:15to,
02:16you know,
02:16maybe come back
02:17on the back side
02:18to hit something.

02:21I thought we had,

02:22made some good opportunities.

02:26they force you
02:27to drive the football.

03:49if it's not there,

03:52to believe that we're

03:53to win the football game,
03:54not just to tie it up.

04:32and where the ball

04:37decisions,

04:40and scramble

05:29we don't want to lose

05:32and we don't want to,
05:33you know,
05:33put the ball in harm's way.
05:34So it's either us
05:36or nobody
05:36and we still have a timeout.

05:41he communicates to him
05:42all the time,

05:43before the play

05:45there's certain situations
05:48where you probably say
05:49a little bit more to him
