00:00Imagine a stone doorway carved with two massive cobras, their heads raised as if to confront
00:07anyone who approaches.
00:10That is indeed what it looks like.
00:12This door has no lock, no handle, and not even a single slit where a key could fit.
00:18It stands behind an ancient temple in southern India that has endured for hundreds of years.
00:23Light barely reaches this place, and the air around the stone feels heavy and quiet.
00:30Above, you can hear the noise of a massive city, but right here, in front of this door,
00:36the silence is almost terrifying.
00:39According to the people who've gotten close to it, they admit to feeling an uncanny fear
00:43whenever they reach for the door.
00:45Legend has it that behind it lies gold that no living soul in the world dares to touch.
00:51One day, people decided to approach it even closer, bringing their tools with them.
00:58What happened next is something we will intentionally leave until the very end of this long story.
01:04Because this is the final and most disturbing part of the six doors that remain continuously
01:10shut across the world.
01:12Each of them has their own reason for being closed, and all of them ask the exact same
01:18thing.
01:18Who is a person really closing a door on, so tightly that it can never be opened again?
01:25Remember that question.
01:26We will return to this with each subsequent door in this video, and now let us ponder it
01:31carefully as we slowly descend toward the very first one.
01:46Deep within the Great Pyramid of Egypt, there is a narrow shaft, barely wider than the span
01:52of two human hands.
01:56This pyramid has been standing for thousands of years, and for a long time remained the
02:01tallest human-made structure in the world.
02:04It was built using millions of stone blocks, many of which are heavier than a fully loaded
02:10large truck.
02:13Inside the thick stone are narrow inclined passageways, whose true purpose is still debated to this
02:19day.
02:21Some once thought these were simple and may have served as ventilation shafts, but that idea
02:28has long been abandoned.
02:30Nowadays, many believe that these shafts might have been made to help the ruler's soul ascend
02:37toward the stars.
02:40A human couldn't fit in such a small shaft, so one day they sent a tiny robot inside it.
02:48The robot slowly crawled up the inclined shaft as its light beamed against the smooth ancient
02:54stone walls.
02:55It traveled nearly 70 meters in total darkness, with nothing around, not even a sound, until
03:04its light suddenly hit a small block of carefully polished white limestone.
03:09Imagine the engineers at that moment, staring at the flickering screen, barely breathing in
03:16their excitement.
03:17On the block were two copper handles, carefully shaped by human hands thousands of years ago.
03:24It turned out to be a door.
03:25A real little door at the very center of the oldest of all the seven wonders of the ancient
03:31world.
03:33For many years, no one knew what lay hidden behind this thick stone.
03:37stone.
03:38Then, through a tiny hole in it, they inserted a flexible camera that could look around the
03:44corner.
03:45And behind the first door, there was another door exactly the same, like the first one,
03:51hidden even deeper within the thick stone.
03:53door after door leading to a place untouched by human feet for 4,500 years.
04:00On the floor behind the stone, the camera spotted red markings painted during the very construction
04:06of the pyramid.
04:08A researcher read them as a number that might indicate the exact length of the narrow passage.
04:14No one had laid eyes on these marks since the day the builders sealed the passage for
04:19good.
04:19If our descent into the darkness still hasn't scared you off, let's take a quick pause and
04:25subscribe to the channel.
04:27Each upcoming door in this video will take us into a deeper and more unsettling mystery.
04:33It also turns out that the back of the block was carefully smoothed as well, as if it were
04:40prepared to be seen by people one day.
04:42But why did they hide a polished door in a place where no human eye could ever see it?
04:48A similar sealed stone block was also found in the second narrow passage of the same pyramid.
04:56The official explanation is simple.
04:59It was just a barrier built to protect the shaft from dust and debris left behind during
05:04the pyramid's construction.
05:07But barriers made just for debris aren't polished on both sides.
05:12And they certainly aren't fitted with neat copper handles.
05:16I'm not saying there's some kind of mystery here, but simple logic makes it clear.
05:21You don't just cover an ordinary barrier like that.
05:26This door wasn't hidden from thieves or the passage of time, it's as if it was sealed so
05:31we wouldn't understand what lies behind it.
05:35We built machines, we sent them down deep inside the solid rock, but until now we're still standing
05:43outside in front of that door.
05:46When the entire world learned about this small door, a debate began that continues to this
05:53day.
05:54The first door was closed due to a lack of knowledge.
05:58The second, however, was deliberately closed stone by stone by human hands.
06:04On the eastern wall of the old city of Jerusalem, there is an ancient gate called the Golden Gate.
06:10But it is the only one among all the city gates that is firmly sealed shut, and is truly never
06:17opened.
06:18It was closed and reopened many times over the centuries, as different rulers and conquerors
06:24came and went.
06:27Each new ruler had to decide whether to open the gate again or seal it tightly once more
06:33with stones.
06:35But in 1541, Sultan Suleiman had the gate sealed permanently.
06:41Outside, right in front of it, a cemetery was also built on his orders, separating the
06:47gate from the path used by the living.
06:50From the hill across it, you can see thousands of graves facing the gate, rising one after another
06:56along the hillside.
06:58For centuries, people have dreamed of being buried here, to be among the first to greet
07:04the one they have long been waiting for.
07:07They believe that on the day the gates finally open, the deceased buried here will be the
07:12first to rise.
07:14Because of this, these gates became a place of both hope and long, waiting for the three
07:20major fates.
07:24According to historians, the reason for the closure and the burials around it might simply
07:29have been for defense, and that is the most common explanation.
07:34But along with it is another legend that is older and more disturbing.
07:39According to the legend, the day will come when a being must pass through the gates, the
07:44being that all nations have long been waiting for.
07:48And the gates were intentionally blocked with stones to prevent that arrival.
07:54The cemeteries were built because according to the legend, the one they are waiting for
07:58would never set foot on the land where the deceased lie.
08:02Think about that for a moment.
08:04This gate wasn't closed to stop the past.
08:07But to stop the future, something that hasn't happened yet, and hasn't yet arrived in the world.
08:14To this day, people belonging to three different faiths still come to these gates.
08:20And each one is waiting for something of their own.
08:23When you stand in front of it, you're not just looking at stone.
08:27It feels as though you are looking directly at an ancient hope passed down from one generation
08:32to the next.
08:33The stone proved more enduring than the prophecy, and these gates have remained silent for nearly
08:39five centuries now.
08:41Meanwhile, on the hill across from it, thousands of the deceased seem to be patiently waiting
08:46for their time.
08:48Just think, people sealed a gate with stone to stop something they believed was destined
08:53to come one day.
08:56As for the third gate, it holds no prophecy or ancient curse, and its sealing happened right
09:02in our own time.
09:05The Taj Mahal in India has been seen by millions of people, and its white dome is known throughout
09:10the world.
09:11But beneath its gleaming base are underground chambers that the public is not permitted to
09:16enter.
09:18There are over twenty of these rooms, and they extend along a long, dark corridor beside the
09:24river, behind locked doors.
09:27The Emperor built this marble palace for his beloved wife, who passed away too soon.
09:34He wanted to give her the most beautiful and magnificent tomb in the world, and we can say he succeeded.
09:39The entire palace was crafted with near-perfect mirror symmetry, like a serene reflection on
09:46the surface of undisturbed water.
09:49Every day, many tourists walk through its marble hallways while taking pictures of the
09:55famous twin tombs.
09:56But only a few know that the tombs we see above are merely replicas.
10:01The real tombs are hidden beneath, and even the true resting place of this couple is concealed
10:08in an extraordinary location.
10:10Beyond the reach of ordinary people, down below, far from prying eyes, lies a chamber.
10:17In ancient times, there were cool rooms here adorned with intricate wall designs where people
10:23would go down to escape the scorching heat.
10:25Then came the Great Flood.
10:29The river overflowed and cracks began to appear in the ancient walls.
10:34After the flood, the conservation service that maintains the monument sealed the underground
10:40chambers with heavy-duty locks.
10:43Generations of caretakers came and went, but the doors to the underground chambers remained
10:49tightly locked.
10:51It is said that only a few managed to take photos of the paintings found there before the doors
10:56were permanently sealed.
10:58The official explanation was simple and calm.
11:02These chambers had to support the weight of the entire massive structure.
11:07Authorities repeatedly stated that there were no secrets kept there.
11:12Just ancient support structures.
11:14But people didn't completely believe this oversimplified answer.
11:19And it's hard to blame them.
11:22Because the calmer the explanation gets, the more you want to see everything with your
11:27own eyes.
11:29Thousands of people walk overhead, while underneath, a locked empty corridor sleeps quietly in the
11:35dust.
11:37Above, the white marble gleams, showing perfect order.
11:43But beneath it lies a dark locked labyrinth.
11:46This door wasn't sealed by gods or prophets.
11:48It was locked away from us, from ordinary people.
11:53And behind the polite, calm explanation about support structures, it's so easy to hide just
11:59about anything.
12:01So let's set aside the polite explanations and the calm briefings for the Muslims for a
12:06moment.
12:14After the terrifying mystery from the ancient East, let's head down into the cold, damp silence
12:22of northern Scotland.
12:25Only one door remains after this, and that's the very door where our journey began.
12:33Beneath the floor of an ancient chapel near Edinburgh, lie hidden the family crypts of an
12:38ancient family of knights.
12:41The strangest part is that the entrance to these tombs was sealed long ago, and eventually
12:47it was completely forgotten by people.
12:51When one of the owners once requested to be buried beneath it, the search for the entrance
12:57took an entire week.
13:00People knocked on the floors and walls, hoping to hear a hollow sound that would reveal it.
13:06There was an empty space underneath, but they found nothing.
13:10In the end, the man was buried elsewhere, because no one could find the way to his own family
13:17crypt.
13:18Since then, the crypt has remained locked, continually hiding its silent contents beneath the floor.
13:25The walls of this chapel are almost entirely covered in carvings.
13:30For centuries, people have searched these carvings for hidden messages and secrets.
13:36stone faces, leaves, and various figures gaze down at you from almost every part of the
13:41high ceilings and walls.
13:45Long ago, soldiers ravaged these lands.
13:48But for some unknown reason, they did not destroy this particular chapel.
13:54There are also carvings of plants here that were said to be unknown in Europe at that time.
13:59And beside the chapel's most beautiful pillar lies a dark and very...
14:06It is said that out of sheer jealousy, a master killed his apprentice, because the apprentice's
14:12pillar was supposedly crafted far better.
14:16According to family tradition, many knights from this family were buried beneath the chapel
14:22while wearing their full battle armor.
14:25They were not placed in simple coffins.
14:28Instead, they were said to still be wearing the iron armor they once used on the battlefield.
14:34Later on, they used special instruments to examine the floor.
14:39They found empty spaces underneath and shapes that seemed like objects were lying there, motionless.
14:46Because of this, various legends arose about those spaces, ranging from sacred relics to hidden
14:53treasures of ancient knightly orders.
14:57There is another old belief that on the very night a baron passes away, the chapel supposedly
15:02gleams as if lit by a magical light.
15:05This dark legend was written by a renowned poet, and since then, it has become known throughout
15:10the entire country.
15:11I'm not saying there's a miracle hidden underneath.
15:15Instead, it's very possible that the remains of those knights are indeed down there.
15:21But the door to that crypt could easily be opened tomorrow without any danger, and yet,
15:27they still haven't touched it.
15:29The owner of this land refuses to grant permission.
15:33That whole big mystery boils down to just a simple yet firm decision by one person.
15:41This door wasn't closed by the gods or by death.
15:45It remains closed because that's how the living want it.
15:49And finally, let's return to the very first door, the one with the stone cobras in southern
15:55India.
15:55It is one of the richest temples in the world, dedicated to a deity sleeping on a massive serpent.
16:03Here, the deity is depicted lying in eternal slumber upon the coils of a massive, multi-headed,
16:11primordial serpent.
16:14Inside the temple, there are other underground vaults, and nearly all of them have long been
16:19opened.
16:21They are even opened several times each year for special occasions, but only one remains
16:27tightly shut.
16:28When the country's supreme court ordered the vaults opened, the world could hardly believe
16:34what they saw.
16:35Gold, crowns, and countless precious gems were piled right on the stone floor.
16:41It turned out to be one of the greatest temple treasures recorded in human history.
16:47According to estimates, the wealth found there was immense, an amount hard to imagine, even
16:54for an extremely wealthy temple.
16:56To give you an idea, imagine a mountain made of gold that could buy several large cities.
17:04This immense wealth was accumulated and bestowed as gifts over centuries, passed down from one
17:11generation to the next.
17:13According to witnesses, this gold was said to be enough to support and feed the entire
17:19country for years.
17:21Several vaults were opened, but when they reached the very last door, everything came to a sudden
17:26halt.
17:28Behind the first iron bars, they found a heavy wooden door, and behind it was another door
17:33made of steel.
17:34The steel door had three locks.
17:38Two came off, but the third one just wouldn't open.
17:41It was as if the lock had fused right into the steel itself, and no tool could ever remove
17:47it.
17:48They could have dealt with it.
17:50They wanted to call a locksmith who could pick almost any kind of lock, but before he
17:56could even arrive, everything suddenly changed.
17:59The country's highest court forbade anyone from touching that door, because of the beliefs
18:06and feelings of millions of devotees, and the man who pushed to have the door open through
18:12the courts suddenly passed away not long after.
18:15You might say, that was just a coincidence.
18:20But after that incident, it seemed people stopped arguing about this door.
18:27According to legend, only those who know an ancient secret sacred word can open it.
18:35And those who tried to enter by force were said to have been met by snakes coming out of
18:41the walls.
18:44For centuries, locals have passed down these stories in whispers, and only a few have dared
18:50to try and prove them.
18:53I present this as a legend, not as a fact.
18:58But one thing is certain.
19:00This door is truly sealed shut.
19:03It is also said that there is more gold behind it than the combined contents of all the open
19:07vault.
19:08A treasure sufficient to change the lives of an entire nation, quietly hidden behind a door
19:16without even a single ordinary lock.
19:19And no one dares to tamper with it.
19:21This door was shut against everyone.
19:24From thieves, to curious onlookers, and even against the very court of an entire nation.
19:33And now, after we've seen the six doors, answer a simple question honestly.
19:38Which of these six doors disturbed you the most?
19:43We are used to thinking that humanity always wants to unlock, learn, and look inside.
19:48But these six doors show us something entirely different.
19:53They show that sometimes, a person intentionally chooses to leave a part of their world closed
20:00forever.
20:01And perhaps, there is a deeper wisdom in that quiet decision than we might think.
20:08Because a door that remains unopened, can keep its secret forever.
20:12But the moment you open it, you instantly lose the mystery.
20:17People close these doors against death, against the future, and sometimes even against themselves.
20:23And behind every stone door like this, lies not just a secret, but a man's true fear.
20:31We are not just afraid of what is hidden inside, we are also afraid of who we become when we
20:36face that very thing.
20:39Perhaps these doors were never really closed to hide something from us.
20:44Perhaps there are things that truly want to remain undisturbed forever.
20:51Six doors, six reasons to remain silent, and not a single one of them was harder for man to face
20:58than himself.
21:01Usually, people are divided into two sides, and the age-old argument between them never ends.
21:07Some believe that every door must be opened because, to them, the truth matters more than any human fear.
21:16Others believe that some doors were closed for a reason, and shouldn't just be messed with.
21:22What about you? What do you believe more?
21:25Write in the comments which side you're on, and why you chose it.
21:29And while you're thinking of the answer, in a place in southern India, there still stands a door with two
21:35cobras.
21:36And behind it, it's said that the gold still quietly waits for the day someone decides to open the final
21:43lock.
21:43But until now, no one has dared to do so.
21:59The gold still has been opened.
22:01The gold still has been opened.
22:01The gold still has been opened.
22:01The gold still has been opened.
22:01The gold still has been opened.
22:01you
