00:38So, Proverbs 3, 5, and 6. Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not unto thy own
00:46understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.
00:53All right. Let's go. Part two. 1 John 5 and 21. Let's get that. Let's go to 1 John. 1
01:09John 5 and 21.
01:151 John 5 and 21. And it says, little children, keep yourselves from idols. All right. What's an idol? Idol
01:29is something that you worship besides God.
01:32Okay. Your idol could be money. Your idol could be clothing. Your idol could be perfume. Your idol could be
01:42sex. You know, an idol is just something you worship.
01:47A statue, that's an idol because that's not the most high God. Right? Um, I don't know. A cat. Some
01:56people may idolize animals.
01:58Or a celebrity. Whatever it is. Whatever it is. Your thing that you idolize. God said, little children, keep yourselves
02:08from idols. Don't do idols. Amen. Okay?
02:18Okay? So make sure you stay clear from that. Don't be worshiping something else. Okay?
02:28And make sure you don't worship yourself either. Because some of us like to worship ourselves. Don't do that. Okay?
02:38Okay. Let's move on. So Proverbs 17 and 6.
02:43On back to Proverbs. Proverbs 17 and 6.
02:53And it says, children's children are the crown of old men.
03:21Yeah. Because you get old. You grow up. You raise your children. You teach them right from wrong.
03:29And they grow up to be, you know, great men and women. Right?
03:34And you feel proud of that. You know what I'm saying?
03:37And the glory of children are their fathers.
03:42And the glory of the children are their fathers.
03:45So we're both in the glory. Okay?
03:48Because you glory that your children grow up to do the right thing.
03:52And then they glory because they had great parents.
03:55They had a great father and mother that taught them right.
03:59And that taught them about the scriptures.
04:01And brought them up in the Lord.
04:03In the ammunition of the Lord.
04:05You understand?
04:06They nurtured their children.
04:07They trained up a child.
04:10Okay?
04:11So you see how very important that is.
04:13Right?
04:14Okay.
04:14Let's move on.
04:16Let's go to Ephesians 5 and 1.
04:21We're going back to Ephesians.
04:25Ephesians 5 and 1.
04:30And it says,
04:34Be ye therefore followers of God as dear children.
04:42So in this one, I don't think God is actually talking to children.
04:47God is basically saying,
04:49As a child will follow His parents.
04:51We are His children.
04:53So we need to follow Him.
04:55Okay?
04:56Let's read that again.
04:58Ephesians 5, chapter 1.
05:01Be ye therefore followers of God as dear children.
05:08And He said,
05:08As dear children.
05:10Because children follow their parents.
05:13Right?
05:14Okay?
05:14But we are as children to the most high.
05:18Because He created us.
05:20So He want us to follow Him.
05:23Understand?
05:24Okay.
05:24Let's move on from that.
05:26Let's go to Matthew 5 and 9.
05:32Matthew 5 and 9.
05:35And it says,
05:37Blessed are the peacemakers.
05:40For they shall be called the children of God.
05:44Again, it's not talking about little children.
05:46It's just talking about godly men and women that love to make peace.
05:52Like there's something going on, commotion.
05:54And they'll interject in the middle and become the mediator.
05:58And they'll help both parties.
06:00And they make peace.
06:03Because God said,
06:06Blessed are the peacemakers.
06:08Blessed are people that are peacemakers.
06:13Okay?
06:13Peace.
06:14You want to promote peace.
06:16You don't want to promote evil.
06:18You don't want to promote hatred.
06:20Because when you promote these things,
06:22You're not promoting love.
06:24You're not promoting peace.
06:26You're not doing what the Most High asks you to do.
06:30You're not doing what Christ told you to do.
06:32Okay?
06:32Christ said He gave a new commandment.
06:35Love.
06:35Which means we need to love one another.
06:38Okay?
06:40And
06:45For they shall be called the children of God.
06:48For the peacemakers are going to be called the children of God.
06:59Galatians chapter 3, verse 26.
07:08And it says,
07:11For ye are the children of God by faith in Christ.
07:16Yes.
07:17Love.
07:18That scripture.
07:19That's one of my favorite scriptures.
07:22Let's read it again.
07:23Galatians chapter 3, verse 26 and 27.
07:27For ye are the children of God by faith in Christ.
07:31For as many of you,
07:34for as many of you as have been baptized into Christ,
07:40have put on Christ.
07:42How do we put on Christ?
07:44The way we behave,
07:45the way we act,
07:46the way we talk,
07:47the way we walk,
07:49you know,
07:49and we talk Bible.
07:51Well,
07:52you don't want to be obsessive with it,
07:54you know.
07:54You don't want to become like,
07:56everything you talk about is the Bible,
07:58the Bible.
07:59But you got to be conscious of it though.
08:01Just be conscious of,
08:03you know,
08:03your talk,
08:04what you're talking about,
08:05you know,
08:05what you're saying.
08:06You want to keep it nice.
08:07You want to keep it friendly.
08:09You want to keep it good.
08:10Okay?
08:11And,
08:12for ye are the children of God by faith in Christ.
08:16Because we are the children of God by faith in Christ.
08:21By faith in Christ.
08:23Faith.
08:24Faith.
08:25Faith.
08:26You have to have faith in the Most High in Christ.
08:31You have to believe in the Most High in Christ.
08:34You have to trust in the Most High in Christ.
08:38And He will protect you.
08:41Okay?
08:42So,
08:43thank you.

08:48He's talking about little children,
08:51training up a child.
08:53And He's talking about adults as being children,
08:57also following Him,
09:00the Most High God.
09:01So,
