00:05And, you know, I think we've talked earlier about this.
00:10And, like, well, the problem is, can Boise still upset teams
00:13like they used to, especially when their best players
00:15are now playing at other places?
00:17But, I mean, I'm watching them in Oregon play on Saturday afternoon.
00:22It's 17-14, and now Dante Moore comes alive a little bit
00:25in the second half, and they get it going,
00:27and they end up winning and closing that game out.
00:29But that's a team in Oregon, Bill, that I think we feel a lot more certain
00:34about than Michigan.
00:35There was a lot of variability.
00:37Boise I thought we knew was good, but I don't know if anybody thought
00:40they would be within a touchdown potentially leading in the third
00:43or fourth quarter against a really, really talented Oregon Ducks squad.
00:47Yeah, you know, some of that had to do with some of the things
00:51that we criticize Oregon for, or at least pan a little bit,
00:54like the two fourth downs.
00:55They go fourth down, fourth down twice.
00:58Boise converts one of them into a field goal.
01:00They have a fumbled punt.
01:01Boise converts that into a touchdown.
01:03Was very impressed with Maddox Mattson for Boise, the quarterback.
01:08You know, I thought that spread looked high off the rip.
01:11Like 24-and-a-half looked way too high for a team like Boise going in there.
01:16But, you know, to Oregon's credit, Dante Moore got going in the second half.
01:20They do have a pretty good passing attack.
01:22The one position group with them is running back.
01:26Like, they had an injury there.
01:28The injuries in the playoff last year hit them.
01:31You know, how dynamic are they at that position?
01:34Because, I mean, Dante Moore is very good.
01:36Jamari Johnson's very good.
01:37They have good targets in the receiving game.
01:39And I'm going to watch that running game moving forward.
01:41They'll get it going.
01:41You mentioned Mestamaker.
01:43They play Oklahoma State this week.
01:44The Cowboys coming off a disappointing loss to Tulsa.
01:48So, I think Oregon, that's just one.
01:50That first half was working the kinks out.
01:53And then they picked it up a little bit.
01:54I still don't think.
01:56Like, if they were in my ballot, they'd be four or five.
01:58But that's where I would put it in Indiana and Ohio State ahead of them.
02:03More concerned out west of the Big Ten western region, if you will, with them or Washington.
02:09Washington had obviously opened the season with the Apple Cup.
02:12Looked pretty good to start.
02:14And then kind of started sputtering a little bit.
02:17Didn't really pull away.
02:19DeMond Williams looked pretty good.
02:21But I would have thought that both Oregon and Washington would have been winning by probably three plus touchdowns in
02:28either one of these games.
02:30Yeah, you know, Washington's offensive line had a rough game.
02:33And I don't have the exact yardage in front of me.
02:35They had a ton.
02:36I get it.
02:37But they had a ton of penalties in that game.
02:40Like, mental errors, holding.
02:43They bust the screen.
02:44And then all of a sudden, it's called back.
02:46So, yeah.

02:4912 penalties for 130 yards for the Huskies.
02:53Like you said, that doesn't even include the yards that you lost that they had to come back from some
03:00of those big plays.
03:01Yeah, they did not look great at all.
03:04And I think they were the more concerning team to me.
03:10Because it can't just be DeMond Williams pulling a rabbit out of the hat and making the plays.
03:15I was impressed with Washington's defensive line, though.
03:20They've got some players on that side of the ball.
03:23They'll be able to iron that out a little bit against Utah State this week.
03:26So, there's time there.
03:28But of the West Coast wing of the Big Ten, they were probably the most concerning.
03:33And I stayed up and watched UCLA on Saturday night.
03:35That was an impressive win.
03:36They've got two running backs.
03:38Bob Chesney had a good debut.
03:40And I've been – I don't care how many people show up.
03:44USC is pretty good.
03:45Their offense is good.
03:47Their defense is good.
03:48They've got playmakers.
03:49They've got a young, fun team.
03:51And Jaden Maiava is not missing much.
03:52So, I do think – I can't wait to see them step up in weight class here in a couple
03:58weeks.
03:59Because I think they've got a pretty good football team.
04:01And I don't care about it when that was about
