Senador propone local en oficina senatorial para niños del LARPE; padres se expresan a favor

SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS.- Ante la preocupante situación de 82 niños que se han quedado fuera de la Escuela de educación especial LARPE por falta de cupo, se llevó a cabo un encuentro crucial entre el Defensor del Pueblo, Pablo Ulloa, el senador de la provincia Duarte, Franklin Romero, la diputada Yani Ventura, y las asociaciones de padres y amigos de la escuela (APMAE) y las autoridades del centro.  Se propuso adecuar un local ubicado al lado de la oficina senatorial Duarte para albergar provisionalmente a los niños y garantizarles el acceso a la docencia, cuya idea fue recibida de manera positiva.  Los padres y representantes de la APMAE también sugirieron aprovechar las instalaciones de El INDRHI, un espacio con infraestructura adecuada, diversas áreas de oficinas y un terreno amplio que anteriormente albergaba al Instituto Agrario Dominicano (IAD), planteando que este lugar sería ideal tanto para la atención temporal como para la construcción de una escuela modelo definitiva.  El senador Franklin Romero manifestó su disposición de colaborar de inmediato con el espacio requerido para mitigar la problemática actual de los estudiantes.  El Defensor del Pueblo, Pablo Ulloa, destacó que continuará canalizando las gestiones necesarias ante las instancias ministeriales correspondientes para asegurar que se cumpla con la igualdad de condiciones en el derecho a la educación de estos menores.  La comunidad educativa espera que estas propuestas se traduzcan en respuestas concretas que salvaguarden los derechos de los niños con discapacidad en la región.
