Kalshi plans to seek approval for regulated US perpetual futures tied to major stocks including Tesla, Apple and Nvidia. The contracts would allow leveraged, around-the-clock trading without expiration.

00:15The prediction markets platform plans to offer about 60 contracts linked to popular ETFs
00:20and companies valued at $100 billion or more. Perpetual futures allow around-the-clock trading,
00:26leverage, and have no expiration date, which can amplify gains and losses.
00:31Coinbase has also filed paperwork that could support single-stock perps.
00:35CalSheet and Coinbase received approval in May for U.S. perpetual futures tied to cryptocurrencies,
00:41while CalSheet launched gold and silver perps Thursday.
00:44Single-stock perpetual futures would require approval from both the SEC and CFTC.
