00:22increased 0.2%, below the 0.3% forecast. Energy prices drove much of the increase,
00:28rising 4.2%, while diesel prices surged 24.1%. Goods prices climbed 1.1%, while services
00:38increased 0.1%. Treasury yields moved sharply higher after the report, and traders raised
00:44the odds of a quarter-point Fed rate hike next week to nearly 66%. Persistent inflation this
00:49year has been attributed largely to the lingering effects of tariffs and the war in the Middle
