00:42in stressful times like get bouts of whether it's anxiousness or like stress or like after a long
00:49work day i feel like my brain just kind of keeps running and i need like certain cues to help

00:55calm down even on like a plane for example like i love to listen to like the same asmr or
01:02like
01:02binaural beat situation to just like make me feel safe i listen to asmr anytime i'm going to bed
01:10alone i don't do it when my girlfriend's there because i don't want to subject her to weird
01:14whispers but i love it let's start
01:21i'm so jealous of you i wish i had headphones on right now this is my makeup bag
01:26it was like five dollars but it's the best one
01:39i do all my own makeup on tour unless it's a very very special occasion
01:46because i can't afford to do anything else and also to be honest at this point i really like the
01:54way that i do my own makeup it makes me feel comfortable i have the same kind of signature
01:59look i build for every album campaign and this is what we're working with right now so i always start
02:08every day even if i'm not gonna put anything else on my face with primer
02:17i don't know if this is gonna make a sound
02:23two pumps just like that i don't know can i swear i don't know what they put in this shit
02:32but it's literally magic
02:41also i wouldn't really ever wear rings while i'm doing my makeup
02:46but they're cute and this is just for show right now but i always put this on even almost as
02:52like a
02:54moisturizer
02:56second step after my skincare
02:59which i really like to keep simple i think less is more
03:02especially with all of the changes and travel and different life scenarios
03:09i feel like i end up in a lot of different climates i'm in through touring all the time
03:15so this armani primer is my favorite i'm also a big believer in like setting spray between every
03:22step of your routine like
03:26i be doing this between like every step setting spray
03:31primer
03:33concealer
03:35foundation
03:37you get the gist
03:38this one's from pat mcgraf
03:41and i'm literally down to like the last drop
03:51so you're very lucky you got some of that
03:54honestly doing my own makeup
03:56for a lot of different experiences i feel like
03:59was definitely born out of necessity at a point
04:03like as an artist there are so many
04:07different things and looks and fantasies that
04:10i really need the help to do and the help to create but when it comes to my makeup
04:15i spend the most time with my own skin more than anybody else's
04:20and while i do have
04:22a couple artists that i love to work with
04:25and really know my skin just as well as i do
04:28or almost just as well as i do
04:31i do feel like i know mine
04:32the best
04:33i know how it sits
04:35through a show especially on tour
04:38i know the different ways that sweat
04:40kind of works around my creases
04:42i see it every day after the show
04:45i can really like take notes and do it
04:47you know a little bit differently every day
04:50i feel like doing it myself
04:52not only gives me the skill of being able to be on my own
04:57but it um teaches me so much about makeup
05:01and and how to constantly tweak and create
05:03and that also makes the getting ready process
05:05like very fun for me
05:07because tour is a lot of repetition
05:10so finding new ways to constantly tweak
05:13and amend it makes it very creative and fun
05:17shall we move on
05:19what can i give here
05:20oh this is a good one
05:25i'm a creature of habit when it comes to my skin products
05:28and everything that goes on my face
05:31because i have very sensitive skin
05:33and it doesn't like change
05:36i really love that this product
05:39like never gets cakey on me
05:41i can kind of just spread it around everywhere
05:44and blend it with heavier concealers
05:47to create like a perfect almost foundation like base
06:00it truly is a flawless filter for your skin
06:03but oftentimes
06:06i'll build it up with something a little more high coverage
06:10like i love this merritt complexion stick
06:12because it really allows me to constantly
06:16blend different shades
06:19to always make sure my skin is the correct color
06:23because girl
06:25i got those latin undertones
06:28and if i get any sun
06:29everything changes
06:31look at how pretty
06:33it's so dewy
06:35but to be honest
06:36i actually don't really like dewy stuff on my skin
06:38so whatever it looks nice on the end
06:41speaking of dewy
06:47i love a good powder
06:48and i just recently started using this one from gosas
06:59gag it
07:04i feel like i'm constantly powdering my face throughout the day more than anything
07:09i guess i have oily skin
07:12i've never really figured that out
07:13but i must if i'm constantly powdering
07:15i really love that this one has like a really seamless finish
07:19and you can really like pack on layers of it
07:22and to me it never really feels super cakey
07:24like i wore this at a wedding last weekend
07:27and i was snatched all day
07:31my best friend claudia got married
07:34and she looked amazing
07:37the thing with powder
07:40is i'm not really scared of like
07:43a white finish
07:46i know i might look a little crazy right now
07:49but
07:56now we'll just wipe all the excess off

08:06i've loved makeup since i was really little
08:09i definitely grew up
08:12in the era of youtube beauty videos
08:15and learning so much about
08:18how to craft my face
08:20and be creative with makeup
08:21since i was in
08:23probably like
08:25even middle school
08:26high school
08:27and i remember seeing like
08:29the big
08:30sephora halls
08:32and dreaming of the opportunity
08:33of getting to go
08:34and you know
08:35buying one foundation
08:36and like savoring it
08:37for a whole year
08:38or more
08:40which i don't know
08:41if you're supposed to do that
08:41because i feel like that
08:42stuff expires
08:44that dior foundation
08:45i kept
08:46i probably still have it
08:48in my bedroom
08:48at my mom's house
08:49and i cherished it
08:51i actually
08:52i remember

10:54took me a long time
10:55to feel like

10:57this like
10:58freedom to create

11:01like i did when i was
11:02a kid
11:03and a freedom to just
11:04create for the love of it
11:05rather than
11:06to make anything
11:07for anybody else
11:08speaking of identity
11:10while there are a lot of
11:11very serious
11:12aspects to identity
11:13and my my own
11:14that i love
11:15something that's a big
11:16part of my identity
11:18is my lips
11:19i've always loved
11:21my like naturally
11:22big lips
11:23even though
11:23when i was a kid
11:25i had a few people
11:26make fun of me for them
11:27they called me a fish
11:28jokes on them
11:29everybody wants
11:30big lips now
11:33and i really
11:35love to experiment
11:36with different shades
11:37and products that
11:39will stay on all day
11:41without feeling
11:41cakey and crusty
11:43there's no better
11:44lip liner
11:44than a mac lip liner
11:45today we're gonna use

11:48this is my favorite

11:51i always travel

16:37as much

16:39putting out
16:40music can be
16:40like a
16:41heartbreaking
16:41experience
16:42because you're
16:42letting go
16:43of what
16:43feels like
16:44your babies
16:45it's always
16:45wonderful

16:47babies get
16:47to be known
