00:01More than 70 cannabis plants have been discovered inside a property in Wendsbury after police
00:06carried out an early morning raid. Officers entered the address on Delville Road and found
00:11dozens of plants along with equipment used to grow them. The electricity supply had also been
00:16bypassed. No one was inside the property when the warrant was executed and enquiries are now underway
00:21to establish who is responsible for the operation. Police say cannabis farms can create risks for
00:26neighbouring homes, particularly because altered electrics can cause fires. The plants are due
00:31to be destroyed while investigators continue trying to identify those people who were involved
00:38in the suspected production of the drugs.
