00:00Stop scrolling for the next three minutes.
00:02If your mind hasn't stopped racing all day,
00:04if you're carrying something heavy that nobody else can see,
00:07this prayer is for you.
00:09Let's bring it to Jesus right now together.
00:12Lord Jesus, I come to you exactly as I am.
00:16I won't pretend everything is fine
00:17because you already know everything I'm carrying.
00:20You see the worry in my mind before I even speak
00:23and you're inviting me to lay it all down.
00:25Father, your word says I don't have to be anxious about anything.
00:29Instead, in every situation,
00:31I can come to you in prayer with thanksgiving
00:33and tell you exactly what I need.
00:35So that's what I'm doing right now.
00:38I'm bringing you my worries about my finances,
00:41my health, my family, my future.
00:44I lay every bit of it down at your feet
00:46because I know you can carry what I cannot.
00:49And Father, you promise that your peace,
00:52a peace the world cannot even understand,
00:55would guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.
00:58So right now, I receive that peace over my thoughts.
01:01I receive it over my emotions.
01:03I receive it over every fear
01:05that's been keeping me up at night.
01:07I declare that I will not be shaken
01:09because you are near.
01:11You're not a distant God watching from far away.
01:14You are close to the brokenhearted.
01:17And Lord, you are close to me right now.
01:20Even when I walk through the darkest valley,
01:22I will not be afraid because you are with me.
01:25Your presence comforts me and your hand guides me.
01:29So when the storms of life rise up,
01:31I will stand firm
01:32because my foundation isn't in my circumstances.
01:36It's in you.
01:37Lord, help me trust you more than my own understanding.
01:40Help me stop trying to figure everything out on my own
01:43and help me simply rest knowing you are in control.
01:46You know the plans you have for me,
01:48good plans to give me hope and a future.
01:51So today, I'm choosing to rest in that promise.
01:55Thank you, Father, for being my refuge.
01:57Thank you for being a very present help
01:59right when I need you most.
02:01Thank you that no matter what I'm walking through,
02:03I am never walking through it alone.
02:06I speak peace over my mind right now.
02:08I speak peace over my home,
02:10my family, and every relationship I'm part of.
02:13I speak peace over every decision
02:15and every uncertain situation I'm facing.
02:19Be still, my soul.
02:21The Lord himself is fighting for you.
02:23And Lord, as I go about the rest of today,
02:26let your peace go with me.
02:27Let it guard my heart in every conversation
02:30and every quiet moment.
02:31And when fear tries to creep back in,
02:34remind me that I already placed it in your hands.
02:36I love you, Lord.
02:38I trust you with everything in me.
02:40And I thank you in Jesus' mighty name.
