00:00My friends, today we're going to talk about, finally, the Lehman Front and the Ukrainian counteroffensive.

00:06People have been posting that. Thousands of Russians have been surrounded there.

00:10I'm here to actually tell you what happened, or rather, read you a report of what happened.

00:15There is so much fake information about it, so I think we need to cool our heads.

00:19In addition, we're going to talk about the Russian war cost daily, exactly how much they spend,

00:23and then the most costly losses they have that make up that war cost, the aviation losses.

00:30But now let's get into the Lehman Front.

00:33You can see on the screen a beautiful arrows showing Ukrainian counteroffensive and surrounded Russians.

00:39Well, let's really see what went on, and I really say a disclaimer here.

00:44When you hear about 10 different sources, people screaming that Russians have been surrounded, don't believe it.

00:50The truth is always somewhere in the middle, and in this case also.

00:54Now, there was heavy OPSEC on this mission for the last six months, pretty much.

00:58But now, it is all plain and public, so we can talk about it.

01:02After four months of the Lehman counterattack in Ukraine,

01:05the 3rd Army Corps managed to cut Russian salient north of Lehman and liberate more than 200 square kilometers.

01:12This is one of the most important victories for Ukraine in 2026, which will delay the offensive of northern Donbass.

01:19And if you look at the upper left screen, you can see it's northern, eastern Ukraine.

01:23That's the front we're talking about here.

01:25And the Russians had a bridgehead over this river right here, running north to south, or south to north.

01:31And Ukrainians pushed it back, and the extent is 200 square kilometers.

01:35Just to get the information out there, this has been a successful, yet slow, localized counteroffensive.

01:43Very important words here.

01:44People go crazy saying this is a Ukrainian counterattack, pushing back the Russians.

01:50It is what we see.

01:51It is 200 square kilometers, localized counteroffensive.

01:55A victory, but localized.

01:57Let's remain real here.

01:59Now, I'm going to read you the entire analysis.

02:01This is Clement Moylin.

02:03Please go and follow him on X.

02:05He posts amazing analysis on these frontline updates.

02:09I don't really cover the front, so this is why I read it to you, because he did it so

02:13much better.

02:13All the credit to Clement Moylin.

02:15The results of this offensive are significant, since this is a very important area in eastern Ukraine.

02:21This salient was the base for an offensive on Liman, which could have allowed further offensive into Izium and Slavyansk,

02:28threatened the northern supply road to Donbass.

02:31This area was fought for in May 2022, September 2022, and May 2025, when Russia managed, after two years of

02:41very big losses, to capture some critical Ukrainian positions.

02:45To explain geography, you have four rivers.

02:47The Krasna River valley, from Svatove to Kremina, that remained under Russian control.

02:53Further west is the Zerebretz River.

02:55For a long time, Ukraine had control of many positions a few kilometers east of it, while it could easily

03:01shield the Russians from the high ground behind the river.

03:04However, it took Russia immense losses, remember all the assaults on Terni, to take control of the eastern side of

03:10the Zerebretz, and it was very difficult to climb the western side, since only few dams in the open allow

03:17passage.

03:18After Zerebretz is a high ground, which Russia captured last year, and is a strategic location.

03:25Further west is a small Nitrius River, which was the next stop line for Ukraine, and was barely crossed by

03:31infiltrators.

03:33The last one is the Oskildanets River, further east or south, that can barely be crossed.

03:39Despite many claims, OPSEC, Operational Security, was very well observed, with barely any comments on the situation and no media

03:48attention.

03:48Why it matters?

03:49Because we know that the Russian units from there were weak, and the 20th Combined Arms Army had no reserve

03:55to throw in.

03:57Lying is being systemic.

03:59Just observe the difference in reporting by pro-Russian accounts that have contacts from this area, from the south.

04:06So even if the information is coming from the battalion or regiment headquarters, it is not sure that that information

04:13reaches the 20th Combined Arms Army headquarters, and then Gerasimov.

04:17Otherwise, they would have sent some VDV, you know, Desnitniks, or Marine Brigade Division, that were elsewhere.

04:24The same way it happened in the south this year.

04:26So now it goes on to explain what really happened.

04:29I'm not going to read you all of this, but the point is, this has been a slow and systemic,

04:34localized improvement of positions on the Ukrainian side,

04:38done by the magnificent 3rd Assault Brigade, and it has been a mechanized push.

04:43They use armored vehicles here, so anybody says the tank and the infantry fighting vehicle are dead.

04:48It is not correct.

04:50They now work together with insane jamming capability.

04:54Without the jammers, they are dead.

04:56With the jammers, very strong jammers, they do work.

04:59But I'm talking here concentrated jamming of all frequencies in a certain frontal area,

05:06which cannot be achieved by either side on a wide scale.

05:10So how we know Ukrainians progressed very steadily and slowly is because if we look at the Russian guided aerial

05:17bomb strikes on satellite imagery,

05:19we can see they advance very slowly from the Ukrainian side to the Russian side,

05:24meaning Ukrainians are occupying or liberating more and more land,

05:28and Russians don't throw guided bombs on their own location, so obviously there were Ukrainians there.

05:34If we map these locations, we can see how fast they advanced based on pretty much the guided air bomb

05:41craters.

05:42Here is the mapped craters of the Russian guided air bombs, June, July, August, and September, based on colors,

05:48so you can see how the wave advances toward the Russian side,

05:52and this is how we can map the speed of the Ukrainian advance.

05:55It took about four months.

05:56Now, this is the area, the gray area right here, that could have any surrounded Russian units in.

06:03Mostly Russians were pushed back or they retreated,

06:06but this area right here, not mapped blue, is the only area where could be still under some Russian control,

06:15and Russians are cut off effectively by drones or by Ukrainian units.

06:20This is not a massive force, we're not talking thousands here, as some pro-Ukrainian bloggers claim.

06:26This is hype, don't take it for any value.

06:28There could be a few hundred fighters trapped here, some could escape, some could surrender.

06:34But all in all, this is what happens in the course of four months,

06:38Ukrainians pushing back for Russians, Russians fighting, retreating,

06:42and a small Russian unit being actually possibly surrounded, we're talking a few hundred fighters perhaps.

06:48This is a localized battle, not to give it more importance than it has,

06:52but not to undermine it also, it is very important since this was about one year of Russian advances

06:59that made this salient, so it pushes the Russians back a year.

07:03Plus, it pushes back Putin's deadlines of occupying all of Donbass, which we'll look into right now,

07:09because Gerasimov and the leadership of the Russian army have been given certain deadlines,

07:14political orders from Putin to take all of Donbass.

07:18Gerasimov has reportedly asked Putin to give him more time in Donbass.

07:23This conversation between the chief of the general staff and the president allegedly took place

07:28even before Witkoff and Kershner visited Moscow.

07:31The generals are seeking to move the deadline from fully capturing the Donetsk region from the end of 26

07:36to March 31st, 2027.

07:40Don't put any more importance on these deadlines,

07:42because we saw these deadlines ever since 2022,

07:45and every six months they postpone them, and Putin gives another one.

07:48They're more a political theater and a political pressure on the Russian leadership

07:53to throw men into this chaos.

07:55They don't really mean much.

07:57And if one thing is sure, that is that in this year,

08:02Russians will definitely not occupy all of the borders of the Donetsk oblasts.

08:06For the chief of general staff, this is a matter of principle.

08:09His future position directly depends on the outcome in Donbass

08:13after a series of complaints about the deadlines or reports from the front.

08:17So we looked at a very localized part of the front, and we saw Ukrainian success.

08:21I usually cover on this channel a more broad picture,

08:26more deep strikes in the Russian rear,

08:28because this affects the world more than any frontline advancements

08:32or 200 square kilometers position exchanges.

08:35So we're going to zoom out again and look into the Mediterranean,

08:39because from a Russian military blogger, Rebar, this information comes to us.

08:45And this is not the Black Sea.

08:46This is not the Ozov Sea.

08:47This is Mediterranean.

08:481,600 kilometers from Ukraine.

08:52Still, we see regular attacks from Ukraine, Ukrainian drones, to the Russian shipping.

08:58The Rebar is sounding the alarm as Ukraine's asymmetric warfare moves into the Mediterranean.

09:04According to the Russian sources, the SPU and Armed Forces of Ukraine

09:08are no longer confined to their own shores.

09:10They're hunting Russian-linked logistics 1,600 kilometers away from the coast.

09:15And look at these three ships.

09:16I covered the hits of all these three ships.

09:19Lady Maria, Arctic Metagas, and Kendil.

09:24All three hit quite smack in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea,

09:28and the strikes and the drones possibly came from northern Libya.

09:32Which shows you that now Ukraine has military bases away from its country,

09:37and they're able to threaten Russians on the Mediterranean.

09:40I'm guessing Sudan will be next, northern Africa will be next,

09:43although we have already seen Ukrainian special forces there also.

11:25As promised, my friends, now the Russian war cost.

11:29This analysis was given to us by German-Russian economist Yanis Kluge,

11:34and he has published his researched figures of how much Russia has spent on the war and spends every day.

11:41To be clear, not to gain territory, but to hold its position in Ukraine,

11:46Russia is spending 59 billion rubles per day.

11:49And if Ukraine conducts these successful localized counter-offensive,

11:54Russia is actually very slowly losing ground in Ukraine.

11:57And they're still spending 59 billion rubles per day,

12:01which is, correct me here if I'm wrong, if my math is doing,

12:04but it's like $680 million, something like that,

12:09every day on the war in Ukraine, winning or losing.

12:12Russian war machine in the first half of 2026 spent 10.6 trillion rubles,

12:18around 106 billion euros, on the military and arms production,

12:2343.8% of the entire state budget.

12:27That's around 1.78 trillion rubles per month,

12:3059 billion per day, 2.5 billion rubles every hour.

12:35Russia had announced stable or even declining expenditures for 2026,

12:40but instead, plus 30% compared to the previous year,

12:44more than five times as much as 2021.

12:46So Russia is spending their way to the grave.

12:49Their economy is dying.

12:52Everybody has been screaming this,

12:53so people are tired of this message,

12:55or they might not even believe it or are desensitized about it.

12:59I'm as clear about this message as I was in 2022.

13:02Russia is a big country.

13:04It will take years for its economy to die,

13:07but it will die.

13:08It is expending itself into a grave.

13:11If this pace continues,

13:12arms expenditures could reach over 9% of GDP by December,

13:16a new record in the entire post-Soviet history of Russia.

13:20There are losses in war, of course.

13:22We're talking tanks, we're talking ships,

13:24the wages of the soldiers,

13:25but one of the biggest physical losses that can happen

13:28or material losses in the war,

13:29there are planes, the aviation.

13:31They tend to be most expensive units in any army, almost.

13:35So we now dedicate these next 10 minutes

13:37to Russian aviation losses, and they're bad.

13:40But there's a surprise,

13:41because Russia loses more planes and choppers to accidents

13:46than to Ukrainian strikes,

13:48which is a stupid fact.

13:50It's an insane fact.

13:51I've always said that Russia hates maintenance.

13:54They're really bad at maintaining whatever they have.

13:57Tanks, infantry, fighting vehicles, planes, and choppers.

14:00If you don't maintain a tank,

14:02it makes a sound, but it goes on.

14:04If you don't maintain a plane or a chopper,

14:06and especially Russian planes and choppers tend to be old,

14:10they will fall out of the sky.

14:12For example, September 7th, that is two days ago,

14:15Russian military sources now confirmed the loss of both,

14:18meaning two SU-35S fighters following their collision in Kursk oblasts.

14:25As for the fatalities, one pilot was killed while the second one was wounded.

14:30Two SU-35s collide.

14:32Now, I'm not saying this is only Russia.

14:34These aviation accidents happen in the United States Air Force.

14:38In every air force, these things happen.

14:40Cannot fully avoid them.

14:41But in Russia, they happen on such a scale,

14:44we see plane or a chopper loss almost weekly due to accidents.

14:49Well, it was two this time, and these are not cheap planes.

14:52They're fighters.

14:53Or let's go back three months,

14:56just to note another insanely rare plane.

15:00The SU-35 is not rare, but this one is.

15:03TU-22M3 bomber.

15:05One of Russia's long-range bombers fell out of the sky.

15:10I mean, this is not supposed to happen.

15:12I can understand when your fighter jets collide,

15:14but this is one of their long-range strategic aviation assets

15:18that is not being produced anymore.

15:20This falling out of the sky signals that your aviation

15:23is extremely bad at flying its planes or maintaining them.

15:31Either the pilots are really bad,

15:33or the planes are maintained so badly

15:35that they fall out of the sky.

15:36Whatever the reason, it's a really bad image

15:39on the Russian Air Force,

15:40which doesn't have a good image in the first place.

15:43TU-22 bomber costs well over $100 million,

15:47and they don't produce them anymore,

15:48so you could say they're almost priceless,

15:50because Russia cannot replace them.

15:51But now let's get to Ukraine and attacks.

15:54We haven't even gotten into those yet.

15:56Connecting it all to Russian daily costs

15:58on this war or the military,

16:00let's see the most painful material losses,

16:04which are the aviation losses,

16:05what Ukraine has caused Russia in the last three months,

16:08and also now.

16:09I mean, most recent ones happened this week.

16:13We're gonna watch the videos also.

16:14It's not just text,

16:15but a rough week for the Russian aviation.

16:18This is right now the first week of September, by the way.

16:21as Putin's air arsenal loses eight aircrafts in four days.

16:274th of September,

16:28Sochi International Airport Adler,

16:31Russia's KA-52 destroyed,

16:33MI-28 destroyed,

16:35and MI-8 destroyed.

16:36These are three helicopters.

16:377th of September,

16:39Tagarok Centralny Air Base,

16:41Rostov region,

16:42MI-8 destroyed,

16:44MI-25 damaged.

16:45Two choppers.

16:467th of September,

16:48Kursk region,

16:49Russia.

16:50Two SU-35S lost mid-air collision.

16:53That's an accident.

16:55And 7th of September,

16:56Sochi Air Base in occupied Crimea.

16:58SU-24,

17:00and immediately, of course,

17:01we'll look at the video from Crimea.

17:03Plain and simple,

17:04a Ukrainian drone slams into an SU-24 parked on the tarmac.

17:10Parabim,

17:10baraboom,

17:11plane taken out.

17:13You don't fix up these planes after a drone strike.

17:16It's impossible.

17:17So, it is out.

17:18It is gone.

17:18This second photo you see comes from Tagarok Centralny Air Base,

17:23Rostov region,

17:24three choppers destroyed,

17:25a KA-52 being the most modern,

17:27and a really good chopper, by the way.

17:30A KA-52 attack helicopter alligator,

17:33it's not a bad chopper.

17:35But Russia is losing them left and right.

17:37We looked at the more recent losses now.

17:39Let's look at losses middle of summer,

17:41July to August last two months,

17:43and they are not small.

17:45We go to July 17,

17:47that was one and a half months ago.

17:48It has been confirmed from both sides

17:50that Russian Tu-95 strategic bomber station

17:53at Engels 2 Air Base in Saratov, Russia,

17:56has been destroyed by Ukrainian long-range drones,

17:58800 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

18:01And this is a satellite image from this very specific attack.

18:05You can see one of the Tu-95s

18:07has its tail cut off by a Ukrainian drone,

18:11other one damaged.

18:12But these are such complex and complicated

18:15and expensive planes

18:16that are not being produced anymore,

18:17meaning no spare parts are being produced.

18:20If they're damaged,

18:21they're pretty much out of the action

18:23for the rest of their lives.

18:24They are old.

18:25They're 60 years plus old planes.

18:28Parts are not being produced.

18:30How are you going to fix them up?

18:31Next attack, August the 4th.

18:34Russian Tu-95 heavy bomber drops its entire tail

18:37after Ukrainian drone strike last month.

18:40Here you can see it a bit closer.

18:41The tail is gone.

18:42And now we go to August 28th.

18:44The same airbase Engels 2

18:47that Ukraine has struck in the summer

18:49about five times.

18:50Russians still use it for Tu-95s.

18:53It's a horrible, horrible decision by the Russians.

18:57Satellite imagery shows

18:59the Russian Tu-95 bomber

19:00struck at Engels 2 military airfield

19:02with damage to the fuselage

19:04and the right wing.

19:05It is the second Tu-95 hit at Engels 2

19:07in the past month and a half.

19:10In July we saw the same thing we just watched

19:12in this end of August attack.

19:14You can see the damage to the wing.

19:16It's obvious to everybody.

19:17And this is the one without the tail.

19:19Now the Tu-22 falling out of the sky

19:21100 plus million dollars

19:22or priceless not being produced anymore.

19:25These Tu-95s, they're not being produced anymore.

19:27They are priceless.

19:28Again, part of the long-range aviation bomber fleet.

19:31Cannot replace them,

19:32meaning they cannot put a price tag to them.

19:35Losing choppers left and right,

19:36losing fighter jets colliding to each other.

19:39I mean, Russian aviation is a failure.

19:41They're invading Ukraine

19:42with a, what, five times bigger army

19:44than what they started at least in 2022.

19:48Still, they couldn't use their aviation

19:50because it was shot out of the sky.

19:52Now they use their fighter bombers

19:54to release guided bombs 50 kilometers

19:57before the front and they turn back

19:58because if they get closer,

20:00they will be shot down.

20:01They use their Tu-95s and Du-22s

20:04for the cruise missiles

20:05and air to ground missiles

20:07to bombard Kievan civilians.

20:09That's all they can do

20:11with their mighty air force.

20:12And even with such minimal use

20:14on this full-scale invasion,

20:16they're still losing aviation assets,

20:19very expensive ones,

20:21accidents,

20:22hits on the ground on the tarmac

20:24by Ukrainian drones,

20:25by cheap drones.

20:26It's bad.

20:27This is why they spend so much on the war

20:30and still don't advance in Ukraine.

20:32They're just not a very effective army.
