00:00one Aaron Judge is back for the New York Yankees. Tom Vecchio, Joe Ranieri, and Tom,
00:07I'm not quite sure I know what to expect with the judge in the house here for a guy that
00:14hasn't
00:14played in five months, wasn't allowed to throw a ball, swing a bat, run. I'm not quite, apparently
00:20we don't go down to the minor leagues and do rehab anymore. We just automatically get thrown in a
00:24lineup. Is it because it's the Rockies, you think, that it's batting practice anyway? Because I don't
00:29know what the hell to do with him tonight. Home run prop, two to one, I think is what we're
00:34seeing.
00:37Lying to have, not only for his home run prop, but the game overall. And the quote that we got
00:41earlier in the day is that Aaron Judge is expected to be, quote unquote, eased back in, end quote,
00:48you know, subbed out in some games before he's playing a full nine innings. So, you know, that
00:52makes things really, really difficult. And I think the smart answer you could say is,
00:58don't bet his props, right? And it can be, Joe, if you told me he played five innings and had
01:04two
01:04home runs, I wouldn't be shocked. It's the Rockies. Like you said, this is a pretty soft landing spot
01:08that any, any guy would like to have. But if you told me he also played five innings and just
01:12struck out once, fly ball, and you don't, there's a donut up there, just an absolute zero. I'm not
01:17going to be surprised at all. So if it turns into something that you're unsure about, just stay away.
01:22Like don't bet into bad lines and a two to one home run odds for a player in his first
01:26game back.
01:27It's kind of crazy.
01:29It's beyond crazy. It's almost like, wow.
01:33Scoobo hasn't really shut anybody out since wearing a Dodger uniform, but I'm supposed to be
01:38laying 350 with them tonight against even the, like, what is going on with the prices in some
01:44of these spots here tonight, Tom?
01:46I know what my honest thing is, answer at this point is, and I was thinking about this,
01:50like seeing these pretty crazy lines, is that because NFL's here, the overall volume that the
01:57sports books are taking on these games is lower. So the bets that they get are moving the lines
02:03more dramatically than they would if this was July, just because the overall handle is lower,
02:09that they have to compensate for that and move them more aggressively. That's what I think.
