After a four-and-a-half-hour delay, woman uses a kayak to cross flooded streets

This unusual journey sees a woman paddle a kayak through flooded Chesterfield streets after a four-and-a-half-hour delay. After finishing her shift, she abandoned her car and tried walking home, only to find the floodwater blocking her route. A man with a kayak was helping people cross, giving her an unexpected way through the severe flooding as a submerged car shows just how high the water had risen.
