00:33is still underway. The collapse took place on Sunday afternoon triggering a major emergency
00:40response in the area. Twelve fire tenders were rushed to the spot along with multiple rescue
00:46teams from different departments. Police teams also reached the location and quickly cordoned
00:53off the area as emergency personnel began searching through the rubble. The priority right now is clear,
00:59to find anyone who may still be trapped and bring them out safely. Locals and eyewitnesses
01:06also joined the rescue effort. Using their hands and whatever equipment was available,
01:12people from the area helped remove debris as rescuers searched for those underneath.

01:24are feared to be trapped. The incident has also drawn attention because Satya Niketan is a densely
01:31populated part of southwest Delhi, with a large student population. The locality is known for hostels
01:38and student accommodations, particularly for students studying at colleges in Delhi University's

01:51Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has expressed concern over the incident. She said every possible
01:57effort is being made to safely rescue those trapped and that she is closely monitoring the situation.
