00:10Rescuers are continuing to search the debris for anyone who may still be trapped.
00:14Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sursa said 12 people have been rescued while six others were confirmed dead.
00:38The building, located in southwest Delhi, was being used as student-guest accommodation.
00:44It consisted of a basement and five upper floors.
00:47Local media reported that repair work was underway in the basement when the structure collapsed.
00:53Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said water had accumulated in the basement
00:57while repair work was ongoing in the old building.
01:00She said the combination of water accumulation and the repair work is believed to have contributed to the collapse.
