00:00We are, the Lord is holy forever, that is how it was made.
00:05Well, we are here in the house of the Lord, to praise Him, to have unity with one another,
00:12together, to have communion with God.
00:15That is our purpose when we arrive and come here.
00:19We gather as a church; if the parents are not, they are not the church; we are the church.
00:25And we have come to hear his word; it is the word of God, and we must be attentive.
00:30When we hear His word, we treasure His word, examine it, digest it, and apply His word.
00:40Because His word has the power to transform our lives; that is the truth.
00:46Lord, we give thanks to you for this afternoon, Lord, in the name of Jesus, Lord.
00:52Great is your name, Lord, and perfect is your word, Lord.
00:58Because you are perfect and it is the word of an eternal, holy, and perfect God.
01:04Glory to your holy name, Lord.
01:06May the Lord help me to know you more and bless your word, Lord.
01:11In the name of your son. Amen.
01:19Amen.
01:34Today I am going to preach about something very important, something that we should all be seeking.
01:45And we who are here, I think we found it.
01:48The title of the sermon is, Found, finding the way to God.
01:56Finding the way to God.
02:00The text is Matthew, chapter 7, verses 13 and 14.
02:08It's a very well-known verse, one I've heard many times, but it's very important that it doesn't enter through
02:19here and let it come out this way and that's all.
02:25And let him come in and let him stay.
02:26And that He may take life to us, Matthew tells us here, chapter 7, verses 13 to 14, says,
02:34Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction.
02:42And many enter through it, for small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to it.
02:49to life.
02:50And few are those who enter it.
02:53And here he realizes something very important.
02:56The gate that leads to destruction is wide, the road that leads to destruction is wide, and it goes on
03:04Much for her, and much comes in through that port.
03:07Few enter through the narrow gate, and so few come along the narrow path.
03:16He says something important, and few have done so.
03:21Bit.
03:22That's very important; it's about eternal life.
03:25Many people do not give importance to eternal life.
03:29Because they are carnal, that is, instinctive.
03:33He says, "What's the point now?"
03:35He doesn't care, does he?
03:36What will be, will be.
03:37But when it comes, there will be no solution.
03:41I tell him many times, there is no solution.
03:44Christ says it clearly, when he says,
03:46It cannot come here, nor from here to there.
03:50That's already closed.
03:51When he speaks of Lazarus and the King.
03:54Otherwise, no.
03:55He won't be able to.
03:56It's already closed.
03:57Nobody can go from one place to another.
03:58That is eternal.
03:59That's why finding the path to God is so important.
04:03That's the most important thing.
04:04If you can't find that, you have nothing.
04:07It's just a matter of time before you die.
04:10I will die.
04:11And that's all.
04:13Because all men are like that, says the Bible.
04:18But in our current context,
04:21We live in a time of confusion, of many lies,
04:24of many deceptions.
04:25There is a lot of religiosity.
04:27There is a lot of information.
04:30And the important thing is to be in the truth.
04:35Scripture warns us in many places to be careful because there is much deception in the world and
04:44a lot of lies.
04:45And speaking in the world that does not know God and in the religious world that claims to know God
04:51God.
04:52There is a lot of lying and deceit.
04:55And that's why we have to be lively, attentive, and write the words and those things with great care.
05:04others preach to us.
05:05Don't believe just anything.
05:07Look, if they do a test, a person comes and preaches something.
05:12Oh, how lovely!
05:14And then the next week comes and someone else preaches who contradicts everything he's said.
05:19The verse says.
05:20Pretty!
05:20And she says, "Wow, how beautiful!"
05:22And he says, amen!
05:24That's right.
05:25It has to be the truth, to know the truth.
05:29That's what the word says.
05:31It's not because you only hear the verses that say,
05:35Christ loves you!
05:36Christ is with you!
05:38God loves you!
05:39God gave his Son for you!
05:42But when we look at the whole context of the doctrine, of the teaching, there may be a lot of deception there.
05:48And that I deceived you.
05:51Listen to the beautiful verse, but then comes the deception and the final phrase.
05:55That's why it's so important, because there's a lot of confusion in the world and Satan is on the prowl, like he's made a crispy mess.
06:02and seeks someone to devour.
06:04And how does it devour it?
06:05Through deception, through lies.
06:06Many people don't realize that.
06:09He does not come with physical power.
06:11He comes with the power of lies and deceit.
06:14It captures the heart and the human being.
06:16And we have to be careful, right?
06:19To be in the truth, because these are difficult times.
06:23Because there are many people who seek God, but they seek Him in the wrong way.
06:29He finds a path that seems good to him, but he is wrong.
06:32And that path does not lead to eternal life.
06:34There are people who have hope and believe they will be with God eternally.
06:39And in reality, right?
06:41He will die and perish eternally.
06:44There are people who have false hopes in false gods, in false Christs, who are not according to the scripture.
06:52In fact, the Bible calls antichrists those people who say they believe in Jesus, but do not believe according to the
06:58TRUE.
06:59If I don't believe according to Scripture, but say I believe in Jesus, the Bible calls him the Antichrist, because he is the
07:05real and true antichrist.
07:07That's why it's important to know the way, to know the way that leads us back to God, right?
07:13And Christ clearly warned us in the scriptures.
07:16In Matthew 24, verses 4 and 5 it tells us,
07:23Jesus answered, “See that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’”
07:32and they will deceive many.
07:35Do you understand what the Lord is saying?
07:37He replied, he was told, be careful that no one deceives you.
07:39To look means to be attentive, careful with what you receive about God.
07:45Many Christs, and many more Christs, may they follow, Christ means savior, messiah, sent ones, those who give you the solution, what
07:52He says, much will come, much, in my name saying, I am the Christ.
07:59And He says something important, Christ who became incarnate says it, and many will be deceived.
08:05No?
08:06Look what he's saying.
08:08And he takes that for granted; he'll deceive many.
08:11Be careful, I've got my ears open.
08:14But be prepared, much will come and bring false doctrine, false teaching, false Christs, and they will deceive many.
08:23But why is it so important not to deceive yourself? Because if you deceive yourself, you will perish.
08:27If you don't have Jesus, really.
08:30And a false doctrine, a false teaching, a false Christ, a false hope, a false religiosity, all is false.
08:37And why?
08:38Can you say why?
08:39What fault is it of mine if he cheated on me?
08:41It's because you live in ignorance, superficiality, and you don't care about the truth.
08:48Because if you are interested in the truth, you will not be able to deceive yourself.
08:51That's what it's all about.
08:52He who seeks me and seeks me with all his heart, will find me.
08:56You will seek me, you will find me, because you will seek me with all your heart.
09:00That's what it's all about.
09:01Why are people being deceived and taken advantage of?
09:05Where is their fault?
09:06Because they were ignorant, superficial, with God and with the real ones, and they didn't care about anything.
09:12That's why they were deceived.
09:14But those who are not superficial are not ignorant; those who truly seek the truth.
09:20Those whom God truly seeks will see Him.
09:24And you will not be deceived.
09:26Because they are not superficial with the truth, that is to say, with God.
09:31Because God is the truth, the word of God.
09:34So it is important, Christ warns us.
09:37Brother, when Christ warns us about something, we have to be eyes, ears open, attentive.
09:43Let us not be superficial, for the Lord, the incarnate truth, warns us.
09:50Be careful, false Christs will come and deceive many.
09:56Do you remember how he warned Peter?
09:57Pedro, it will come to me three times.
09:59Peter, no, I mean, that one might reach you, but I, Lord, will go to death.
10:06And in the end the truth was fulfilled, because the truth incarnate, that the Lord is his Christ,
10:11He who knows the future, knows everything, says to him, you will deny me, Peter.
10:17I deny it, don't I?
10:18So Christ tells us here, many will be deceived.
10:21And it's real.
10:22Examine yourself to see that you are not arrogant, not proud, not haughty.
10:27Thinking you know everything and saying, "He can't fool me."
10:31That's where you're mistaken, if you think that way.
10:34If you think like that, you're already deceived.
10:37Now, if you are not superficial, if you are attentive to the word of God, study the word of God,
10:43You erase, you scrutinize the word of God, you reflect on the word of God,
10:48you won't be able to deceive.
10:50Because you sincerely seek the truth.
10:53So, that's the introduction.
10:55I have prepared the sermon in four parts.
10:59Why is it so important to find the path that leads us to God?
11:02This is the first part.
11:05How can we know the truth?
11:07Second.
11:08Third.
11:09What is the Gospel?
11:11And part four.
11:12There are only two paths to choose from.
11:15And then the conclusion.
11:17TRUE?
11:18The first part.
11:19Why is it so important to find the path that leads us to God?
11:23Why is it so important?
11:25Because the Bible clearly states, what good is it for a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?
11:30He has warned many times.
11:31Look, I'm going to tell you something, and I heard someone talking and it's true.
11:34What's the difference between a fool and a simpleton?
11:38A fool is a person who doesn't have the information, who hasn't reached it.
11:43He doesn't know, for example, that putting his hand in the fire burned him.
11:48And the fool is the one who knows and does it.
11:51Receive the information, listen to the truth.
11:53But they prefer to remain in their stubbornness, in their wickedness.
11:57Evil, God warns, seek me while I may be found.
12:01It is the most important thing for your soul, to know me.
12:04Look for me, look for me.
12:05And the fool says, I don't care about any of that.
12:08And he perishes in his folly.
12:10Because of his stubbornness, his heart has repented him.
12:14His evil.
12:15He chose to abandon his wickedness rather than repent.
12:20In his hard heart.
12:21And God warned him, warned him, warned him.
12:24But he persisted in his folly.
12:26And he perished.
12:27And then comes the crying, the gnashing of teeth.
12:30And pain.
12:32Brother, that's serious.
12:33That is why it is so important to find the path that leads us to God.
12:40First, because there are paths that seem right to a man.
12:44As he says, there are paths that seem to man to lead us to God or are good.
12:48But that's not the reality.
12:50I once preached about false hopes.
12:53To have hope and be expressive, to be excited, but for it to be false.
13:00And that it doesn't take you where you thought it would.
13:05Many people have hope in their gods, but it does not lead to salvation.
13:09And some people even kill themselves thinking that when they wake up they are in paradise.
13:15And in reality, when he wakes up, he is in hell.
13:18That's why there are false hopes.
13:20There are people who work and fight for God, but they fight in the wrong way.
13:25Not like Paul was.
13:26He persecuted the church of Christ.
13:28And Christ says to him, Paul, you are hurting yourself, Paul, because you are persecuting me, Paul.
13:35Paul thought it was a good idea to go to Damascus and arrest the Christians, imprison them, and if necessary, kill them.
13:43He thought it was fine.
13:44He thought it was a good path.
13:46And Christ appears to him and says, "What are you doing?"
13:49Are you hurting yourself?
13:51Why is he persecuting me?
13:52Who are you?
13:54I ask.
13:55I am Christ, you are the Lord.
13:57So, do you realize the importance of knowing the truth well?
14:01Because it says in Proverbs 14:12, there is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of the wicked.
14:07death.
14:08Proverbs 14:12, which is the word of God, says, there is a way that seems right to a man, but his
14:14The end is the path to death.
14:15He thinks it's right, he thinks it's good, he thinks it's straight, he thinks it's good.
14:19The way they think about their lives, the way they interpret reality, seems fine to them and leads to death, he says
14:26Scripture.
14:27That is why it is so important to know the path to God.
14:32Because some people think they are going to God and taking him there.
14:36It's important, brother, brother.
14:39Another reason why it's important to find God's path is because there are false prophets.
14:47There are false prophets.
14:48What is a false prophet?
14:49He's someone who comes and says he speaks on behalf of God, but what he teaches about God and about
14:55The doctrine is false.
14:57And it leads believers astray from the truth.
15:01That's a false prophet.
15:03He is someone who speaks on behalf of God and says he speaks on behalf of God, but what he says
15:08It is false and leads people astray from the truth.
15:11In Second Peter, chapter 2, verse 1, it tells us and warns us about that.
15:17Because Scripture, as I have said before, shows that God loves us and warns us.
15:22And he tells us.
15:23It tells us here, in Second Peter, chapter 2, verse 1.
15:27But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, and
15:37The Lord who rescued him will yet come, bringing sudden destruction upon himself.
15:43Do you realize?
15:43He says, "There were false prophets among them, so there will be false teachers among you, who will teach you things about God and about the..."
15:50word of God, which is false.
15:54And there's something important, which is covert intrusion, do you realize?
15:58That doctrine comes in disguise, as I said before.
16:01A beautiful verse at the beginning, beautiful things.
16:04Ah, he is a man of God.
16:05And we sitting there, taking it for granted, man of God.
16:09But that's not the case.
16:11Never think that way, that everything that is placed behind the pulpit, when it is placed there, was a man of
16:17God.
16:17First, we need to study the people we don't know more.
16:20Something new is coming here, it's being put in place, we strive to bring in people who preach the truth.
16:28But we have to be careful.
16:30For if Scripture warns us, and Paul warns believers that there will be false prophets, as there were in the
16:35people of Israel,
16:36false teachers, who will bring, what does it say here?
16:39They are covertly hidden, through teachings that will gradually deceive you.
16:44But look what it brings, that, destructive heresies.
16:48What is heresy?
16:51Teachings about God that are not true.
16:54But that heresy is destructive, that is, it brings destruction into your life.
16:59And not only in life, but in the church community, in every heart, and divert it.
17:06I can give you an example, for instance, the heresy that exists in the Catholic Church, that the priest can
17:11marry.
17:12I'll give you an example: it's heresy, it's bad teaching; Scripture doesn't teach that.
17:17And that it is destructive, how much damage has it done throughout the centuries?
17:21To forbid a person from getting married when they lack the ability to contend, to endure,
17:27That must be a gift from God.
17:29And a person is punished to have all that in their life when God demands that of us.
17:34See? As an example, a heresy that is destructive and through destruction.
17:40And then many people fall victim to sexual abuse and other things that are happening.
17:45Of course, because if I am not able to control myself, then that is how the heresy that destroys comes.
17:52But there are things that are very covert, like when the church, the evangelical church, comes along.
17:57who think we are the absolute knowers of the whole truth,
18:00as if it remained inside a church, the truth entered into everything, the universe.
18:04Don't I know everything? Don't I know everything?
18:06I don't even need to make an effort to see if what Nicholas preaches is the truth, because I already know.
18:12That's a necessity, not everyone knows it, that's why we need to be careful with the teachings.
18:18Why is it important, brother?
18:19Because they are hidden, they are heresy and they destroy.
18:23If something comes into your life and destroys you, discard it, then it's important.
18:27False teachings destroy.
18:32No?
18:33Like a text at the beginning, you won't die, huh?
18:37Satan says, you will not die, heresies.
18:41No?
18:41For God has said, "On the day you eat, you will die."
18:44And Satan says, you will not die.
18:46And what happened?
18:47He died.
18:47Because what God says is the truth, it is absolute truth.
18:51So, another reason why it's important to find God's path is because there are many democratic doctrines.
19:01When we talk about democratic doctrines, we are talking about doctrines that speak of God in the Christian world, but are not from God.
19:09We do not speak of worldly doctrines, signs of the world that have nothing to do with the church.
19:14There are people who talk about Christ, about the word of God, about God, about salvation.
19:18And they are doctrines, but they are influenced by Satan.
19:22In reality they are demonic, because that's why they have it covered.
19:26We are in the same context, as the scripture says.
19:32But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and
19:43to doctrines of demons.
19:46But look at something important that the scripture says here.
19:49But the Spirit says clearly, brother, the Spirit of God, not just anyone says it.
19:54It is important to read the text.
19:56Who says that?
19:58The truth.
19:59The Spirit of God says, and puts it clearly in the word.
20:05And of course, the Spirit of God warns us, He warns us and tells us that the latter times, when are the
20:11later times?
20:12From the apostles onwards.
20:15From the time of the apostles onwards, it is the later times.
20:18From them onwards, the Spirit already warns us.
20:22And what does it warn us about?
20:24That some will apostatize from the faith.
20:26How he will apostatize from sound doctrine and sound teaching.
20:31And what does he do?
20:35He will listen to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.
20:40And they'll say, oh, right?
20:42Like many, there is doctrine that says, for example, no matter how you live, Christ died for you, you are saved.
20:49That's it.
20:50You believe in Jesus, you are saved.
20:53God loves you and there are other doctrines in the Christian world that say, in the end we will all be saved.
20:59I set the greatest example, don't I?
21:01Because there are other things that are covered.
21:04We will all be saved.
21:05God is love.
21:06Others say, look, there is no hell.
21:09How is it possible for a loving God, a good God who sends people to suffer for eternity?
21:15Because if God is good, that's not compatible with his character.
21:18So, if it's not compatible with his character, which is good, how can he punish a human being eternally?
21:24And so we proceed with human logic and reasoning, but the writings of Christ do not clearly address, for example, the
21:30hell.
21:31He's the one who talks about hell the most, like anyone else.
21:35He says it clearly, gnashing of teeth, crying, that he speaks of eternity, that he will never get out of there.
21:43And there are a lot of verses that speak, for example, of doctrines of the devil,
21:47who says things, false inheritances, who says things about God, about eternity, about salvation, about Christ,
21:54and so many things that bring destruction, and influenced by demonic doctrines.
22:01For example, brother, realize that if there is a spiritual battle, think like this, if there is a spiritual battle, and
22:07do it,
22:08And we as a church here in Isla Cristina, who are for a vanguard of the truth,
22:13Light and salt for Isla Cristina, what's the devil doing?
22:16What does Satan do? He sends his host.
22:19But the devil will not come.
22:20Hello, I am the devil, I have arrived at the church in Isla Cristina, I have come to destroy the church, the truth is,
22:25so that it will be a bad example in the town, and in the end, that you will be of no use as a church in Isla.
22:30Cristina.
22:30Will Satan come like that? No.
22:32He will come in disguise, with teaching; he may come with deception.
22:36And if we do not remain in the truth, we will stray, and he will introduce doctrines of the devil.
22:42And in the end we are neither light, nor salt, nor a balm, nor the will to value the truth,
22:47And that believer does not demand it.
22:50What kind of God is this? There is no love in the church, no fellowship, no forgiveness, no mercy.
22:56Because if we listen to the doctrine of the devil, that will not pass.
23:00And what am I getting at? That there is a spiritual battle, it's real, that church was founded by Jesus Christ.
23:05Who is the island? He is the head of the great shepherd, and he wants to save the Christian church.
23:11And there is a spiritual war, a real struggle, it's not a lie,
23:15that Satan will come and has come against us,
23:18and will fight to destroy the church, and to prevent the gospel from being preached,
23:22And in fact, that's what we're going to do, going to do, going to do, going to do.
23:24It's important, brother, to understand that.
23:26That's why it's important to be careful in finding the path to God, isn't it?
23:32Here we see how there are doctrines of the devil, there are steps, prophets,
23:36And there are paths that seem good to us,
23:39in our ignorance, in our unbelief, in our hardness of heart,
23:43But they don't get along, so it leads us to tradition,
23:47If we are not careful and do not listen to the voice of the shepherd,
23:51I am the good shepherd.
23:53And then Christ appointed his shepherds.
23:56On earth, they are supported by him.
23:59The second point is, how can we know the truth?
24:04So how can I know the truth?
24:06What I mentioned earlier, about not being deceived by false prophets,
24:09that my heart does not deceive me, that Satan does not deceive me.
24:13How can I know the truth and for you to be something?
24:16Because I care about where he'll spend an eternity.
24:20Brother, sister, I know what he has.
24:23It has to be important, it's very important for your life where you will spend eternity.
24:28It's very important, the most important thing.
24:30Think about that and appreciate that, seriously.
24:33If you value all those things, then you won't be fooled.
24:36Because it's important for you to truly know Jesus and the word of God.
24:42So how can we know the truth so that we are not deceived and that we are on the path of the Lord?
24:49Because if the Bible teaches, it warns us that there will be deceptions and lies, false prophets,
24:55and that many will be deceived, that there is a narrow gate, that there is a narrow road,
25:00that there is a wide gate, that there is a wide road,
25:03All of that warns us, so we have to be careful, right?
25:07And here it tells us, one of the ways we can find the truth is by reading the word of God.
25:15Major.
25:16Because the word of God is truth.
25:18How does John 17:17 say it?
25:23Sanctify him in your truth, your word.
25:26The word of God is absolute truth.
25:29This is how we become holy.
25:32It's like saying, move them out of the way.
25:34To sanctify means to set apart.
25:37Set aside.
25:37And who takes away our word?
25:40John 5:39 tells us.
25:45John 5, verse 39.
25:47He will search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life,
25:53And they are the ones who testify about me, says Jesus.
25:56So, do you want to know the Lord Jesus Christ?
26:00To know, to have eternal life, is to have eternal communion with God, to be on God's path.
26:05It is the scripture that bears witness to Jesus Christ.
26:09It is through Him that we are saved.
26:11Where do we find Jesus?
26:13In the writing, he himself says.
26:15Study the Scriptures diligently, for I think that in them you will find eternal life.
26:19But they are the ones who testify about me.
26:23So how can we know the truth?
26:25Reading the word, because the word testifies of the Lord Jesus Christ.
26:29Which is the incarnate word.
26:31Therefore, it is important to give importance to the word of God and to be careful with the word of God.
26:37I gave him an example once.
26:39If I had one container, and in one of them I had poison, and everything was apparently similar, and that
26:49If I can't distinguish it, I would have to look at it very carefully.
26:53What would I do?
26:55There are four jars.
26:56And in one of them you know there's a poison that can kill you.
27:00And now you're going to drink, you have to drink.
27:04And you have to look very carefully to find where the poison is.
27:08It's visible, but not superficially.
27:11What would I do?
27:12Let's be honest.
27:13Any of us.
27:15I would do what I wanted, if there was light outside, inside.
27:19I think with the phone in a big screen it would be like that, because he knows that if you leave, you're going to die.
27:25And now, speaking of eternal life, an eternity, and that we pass by superficially.
27:31If we listen to the word, it comes in here and goes out there, verse, every day.
27:34But in reality, we don't understand anything.
27:37If we do not pay attention to the word of God, and do not treasure it in our hearts,
27:42that we don't value it.
27:43Because, as Jesus says, I have spoken of encouragement from myself.
27:47So, they read the word to get to know Jesus.
27:50They read the word.
27:52In Romans 10:17, it says, so then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
27:58So, faith comes by hearing, but not just anything.
28:02The word of God.
28:03What faith are we talking about, brother?
28:04It's not just any faith.
28:05Saving faith.
28:07Because many people have faith in many things, or many gods, or many Christs.
28:14But he doesn't have genuine faith.
28:16Faith is based on truth.
28:18It is to say it, to believe things, what we believe, which is according to the truth.
28:22There it is, that's faith.
28:24So, he says, faith comes by hearing the word of God.
28:29If we read the word of God, and discover the word of God,
28:32Then that produces genuine faith in us.
28:36It produces real hope, real faith in God,
28:39and a real salvation in our lives.
28:42And when we come down from heaven, we are saved, because we believed in the truth.
28:47And we are deceiving ourselves.
28:49So, it's important to see it that way.
28:52Another way to know the truth is through Jesus.
28:59The absolute form.
29:03In John 14:16, it says, Jesus said to him,
29:07I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
29:10No one comes to the Father except through me.
29:12It's very clear.
29:13I am the way, the truth, and the life.
29:15No one comes to the Father except through me.
29:16And the sister, it's very important what she says at the end,
29:19Nobody!
29:20And there are people, I even know some believers, who think and say,
29:23No, because he's a good person.
29:25Finally he died, and has gone to be with the Lord.
29:27Without believing in Jesus.
29:29So, is that verse true or not?
29:31Because if that isn't true, then something else isn't true, something else isn't true,
29:35Let's grab hold of each other, let's go, because what do we believe in?
29:36What we believe is false.
29:38We've come here to waste time, to take a small bag of food,
29:41Time passes, and the grave.
29:43Nothing else.
29:44That's how our lives will go.
29:46But is that verse true?
29:48It is true, because it is inspired by the Holy Spirit.
29:51And he tells us, Jesus said to him,
29:53She told him the truth,
29:54the truth that became incarnate in the universe,
29:56I say, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
29:58No one comes to the Father without our world.
30:00Period.
30:01So, that's the truth.
30:02To have it from the real Jesus.
30:03Are there other ways to be saved outside of it?
30:06Jesus says no.
30:08If I say yes,
30:09Then I don't know Jesus.
30:11Because I don't know Jesus of life.
30:13I know another Jesus, another person.
30:16And that's something else.
30:17But not Jesus.
30:19Alive.
30:20Do you realize how important this is?
30:22To have, to be on the royal path of God.
30:26Another way to know the truth is by believing in the Gospel.
30:31Malchus, chapter 1, verses 14 and 15, tells us,
30:35After John was imprisoned,
30:38Jesus came to Galilee preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God,
30:42saying,
30:42The time has come,
30:44and the Kingdom of God has come near,
30:47repentant,
30:48and believe in the Gospel.
30:50God's time has come.
30:53My moment has arrived.
30:56And he preached the Gospel.
30:57And what did he preach?
30:58Repentance.
30:59In other words, repent, for you will see the Kingdom of God.
31:02Repent.
31:03The Kingdom of God is coming.
31:04Renounce your disobedience,
31:06and live with your back to God.
31:08And to believe in God's message of salvation.
31:11Repent.
31:12Turn back, for the Kingdom of God has come near.
31:14When Christ came,
31:15The Kingdom of God has come near to us.
31:17When we go and preach to a person,
31:20to a soul in the Gospel,
31:21It is the Kingdom of God that is coming to her.
31:24Because we,
31:26The Kingdom of God is among us, brother.
31:29It is the Kingdom of God in this world,
31:31in this reality.
31:32Christ says,
31:33because my kingdom is not of this world.
31:36It's not of this world.
31:37Christ did not come to form governments,
31:40and everything else.
31:41There will never be a country that is completely,
31:45genuinely believer.
31:46And that all the law that is put in place in the State,
31:50Let the law be according to the Bible.
31:51That won't happen in this world.
31:54The only place where it happens is in the church.
31:56It has to happen.
31:58To live under God's law,
32:00under the grace of God,
32:01but loving God's law,
32:03and practicing God's law.
32:04But not.
32:05The Kingdom is among us.
32:08Because we follow the King of Kings,
32:10Lord of Lords.
32:11So,
32:11when we go and preach,
32:12We preach the Kingdom of God,
32:14And the Kingdom of God is at hand among those who preach it.
32:16And we told him the truth,
32:17and we call them to repentance,
32:19to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ,
32:21by believing in the Gospel,
32:22so that he may belong to the people of God.
32:24And that he be a child of God.
32:26Because?
32:26For a new heaven will come,
32:28and new land,
32:29where justice will reign.
32:30So,
32:31The Kingdom of God will be established forever.
32:34And there everything will work according to God's truth.
32:37And that is the call that God makes to us.
32:40It's the truth.
32:41Christ tells us.
32:42So,
32:42through that,
32:43of the Gospel,
32:45We know the truth.
32:46We know Jesus.
32:47We know our condition.
32:49We know the need to repent.
32:51The urgent need to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
32:56That without Him no one can be saved.
32:58Well, it's about knowing the truth.
33:00It's important.
33:01Because many think I will be saved.
33:04Because it helps a poor person.
33:06Because that's what it does.
33:07Help a widow.
33:09It does something morally good.
33:11And think.
33:12It will come to me in heaven because I am a good person.
33:14But that is not true according to the scripture.
33:16Because we saw last week,
33:17when I preached,
33:18that by the work of the law,
33:20not even a single human being will be saved.
33:22The scripture says.
33:23And all are saved through faith in Christ Jesus.
33:26Let's move on to the third point.
33:29And we're going to talk a little bit about what the Gospel is.
33:33The Gospel is the wonderful news of God.
33:38That we can be saved through faith in Christ Jesus.
33:43And that is the Gospel that Christ died.
33:45It was supported for three days, says Pablo.
33:48And then he rose again.
33:50And if someone comes and preaches another gospel that is not according to the truth.
33:55To an angel from heaven, says Paul,
33:57whether it is antepo or cursed.
33:59Because if he comes and preaches something else,
34:01he can no longer be saved.
34:02Because the truth is the truth.
34:05It's the truth.
34:06That's all.
34:07That's why he doesn't realize it.
34:08Many people don't understand that the truth
34:10It is the reality of all things.
34:13And what happened,
34:14What happens,
34:15and what will happen.
34:16Period.
34:18That's the truth.
34:19Therefore, no other truth can exist.
34:21More truths.
34:22Or that truth is relative.
34:24I can be saved through Christ.
34:26I can be saved through my good works.
34:29I can be saved through coming to worship.
34:31Through reading the Bible.
34:33No.
34:35There is absolute truth.
34:36which is the only way I can be saved
34:37Yes, I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ
34:40and I repent of my sins.
34:43There is no other.
34:45Well, as I said,
34:46The Gospel is wonderful news
34:48that Christ came to save me.
34:50And it tells us in Luke 2,
34:52verses 10 and 11.
34:54Luke chapter 2,
34:56verses 10 and 11.
34:57But the angel said to them,
34:59Do not be afraid,
35:00For behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,
35:04which will be for the whole town.
35:06Who was born to you this day in the city of David,
35:09a savior who is the Christ of the Lord.
35:12Do you realize?
35:13Good news.
35:16I bring you great news,
35:18great joy.
35:20Christ came and was born to die on the cross
35:22for our sins
35:23and have eternal life
35:25through what He has done for us on the cross.
35:29Knowing the Gospel,
35:30He is on God's right path.
35:32Knowing and having,
35:34because knowing the Gospel
35:35It is to know Jesus Christ,
35:36It is believing in Him,
35:37in what He has done for us.
35:40So,
35:41the wonder of the Gospel.
35:42After,
35:43The Gospel is the power to save,
35:46It is the power of God
35:47to save our lives,
35:49It is the power of God
35:49to save humanity.
35:51The Gospel,
35:51which is in Romans 1:16,
35:54says,
35:54because I am not ashamed of the gospel,
35:56because it is the power of God
35:57for salvation.
35:59Realize.
36:00I am not ashamed of the Gospel,
36:01because it is the power of God
36:03for salvation to all who believe.
36:05The Jew first
36:07and also to Greek.
36:08So,
36:09He is on God's path.
36:11It is the power of God in your life.
36:12It is power
36:13through the Gospel
36:14that God saves souls.
36:16It is through the Gospel
36:18that there is salvation and eternal life.
36:19Because,
36:20what's that?
36:20Instead of preaching the Lord Jesus Christ.
36:23And there is power.
36:24in our life
36:25And when we believe in the Gospel.
36:27There is power
36:27to defeat Satan,
36:29to our meat,
36:30to the world.
36:30Not perfectly,
36:32But yes, honestly.
36:33And that there is evidence
36:34in our life
36:35that we are victorious
36:37in Christ Jesus
36:37regarding personal sin,
36:40about Satan,
36:41about lies
36:42of Satan
36:43and of this world.
36:44There is power
36:45in the life of the believer.
36:47By what means?
36:48Through the Gospel.
36:50How do I know that a person
36:51this
36:53in the power of God?
36:55because of their lifestyle.
36:56Because the Gospel
36:57It changed his life.
36:58As I told you before,
36:59not perfectly,
37:00But it shows in his life
37:01a profound change
37:02because it had
37:03a real encounter
37:05and genuine
37:05with God.
37:07And that manifests itself
37:08in their lifestyle.
37:10In each one of us.
37:11So,
37:12That's how we are
37:14We are deceiving ourselves
37:15because the Gospel
37:16He comes and rescues us.
37:17of deception
37:18of Satan
37:19from our hearts,
37:20of sin,
37:21of the world,
37:22of pleasures
37:23of that world.
37:25The Gospel,
37:26brother,
37:26is the one that Satan
37:29wanted to hide
37:30from the beginning.
37:31Because it's the truth
37:32of God,
37:33is the means
37:33of salvation.
37:34Realize
37:35about something.
37:36Satan
37:36He is a strategist.
37:39Attacks
37:39and think
37:40and it has a strategy
37:41to attack.
37:41For example,
37:43if we
37:43We are all here
37:44And there is only one way.
37:45to be saved,
37:46We're putting this port in place.
37:47The only thing that
37:48It's worth understanding
37:49This is the port.
37:51And He created you
37:52false doors
37:53so that he thinks
37:55that goes out that door
37:56and you fall
37:56and you die.
37:57So,
37:58He covers
37:59and wants
38:00cover up the truth,
38:01to hide the truth,
38:02hide Christ
38:03so that?
38:04So that people
38:04not be saved
38:05because his land
38:07It's so that you don't
38:07Let us be saved.
38:09Always has been
38:10He hid the Gospel
38:11of Jesus Christ
38:12and persecutes the Gospel
38:13through empires,
38:15through the Roman Empire,
38:16through Communism,
38:17philosophy
38:18and ideologies
38:19human
38:20that they created
38:20in society
38:21to pursue
38:22the Gospel.
38:23Religions that
38:23They perceived the Gospel.
38:25Religious man,
38:27Paul was pursuing
38:27the Gospel
38:28until Christ
38:28He rescued him.
38:30In our society
38:31There are more and more of them,
38:32we're going to be more
38:33persecuted.
38:34There are religions
38:36that is being established
38:37in society
38:38that he will pursue
38:39to the genuine believer
38:40because the best way
38:42like Satan
38:42pursues
38:43that's when
38:43It's chasing you.
38:44through the Buder.
38:46The Buder
38:46begins with prohibitions,
38:48punish you,
38:49jail
38:49or even murder.
38:52That's as far as he wants to go.
38:53so,
38:53but first
38:54he begins
38:54to cover up
38:56through false
38:57doctrines.
38:58Look how he tells us
38:58in 2 Corinthians
38:59Chapter 4
39:01verse 3 to 4.
39:02Second Corinthians
39:04Chapter 4
39:05verses 3 to 4.
39:06But if our Gospel
39:08is still
39:10covert
39:11among those who are lost
39:12It's undercover.
39:14And he says,
39:14in which
39:15God
39:16of this century
39:17blinded
39:18understanding
39:20of the unbelievers
39:21so that they don't
39:22shine
39:23the light of the Gospel
39:24of glory
39:25of Christ
39:25which
39:26It's the image
39:27of God.
39:29I have seen
39:29like Satan
39:30covers up
39:31in which
39:32God
39:33of this century
39:34blinded
39:35understanding.
39:36And how
39:37can blind
39:38an understanding?
39:40With other philosophies.
39:42Yeah?
39:43There is no other way,
39:44you understand me?
39:45Through teaching,
39:46with entity,
39:46with deception
39:47about Jesus.
39:48For example,
39:49in the world
39:50of the witnesses
39:51of Jehovah
39:52Christ
39:53It is the angel Gabriel.
39:55In the world
39:56For example
39:56of Islam
39:57with the Muslims
39:58Christ
39:59is the prophet
40:00sent by God
40:00who did not die
40:01on the cross
40:02and that God
40:02He took him
40:03in the sky
40:03and so on.
40:04But in the world
40:05evangelical
40:05It can also exist
40:06a Christ
40:07like what
40:08a ninth dad
40:09the one that allows you
40:10all,
40:11the one who saved you
40:12just to offer you
40:13material things,
40:15He doesn't care.
40:16How are you?
40:17How do you dress?
40:17How do you speak?
40:19If you get drunk,
40:19If you go to nightclubs,
40:20if there are any bad words.
40:22No,
40:22Christ is love,
40:23Christ loves you.
40:24Another way
40:25like Satan
40:26can conceal
40:27the Gospel.
40:28What does that mean?
40:30To conceal what He is.
40:31What Jesus
40:32It's real
40:33as He is.
40:35So,
40:35to realize
40:36how it covers
40:37the Gospel
40:38in many ways,
40:40many religions,
40:41atheism,
40:43evolution,
40:43There are so many things
40:44who wants to separate him
40:45of God
40:46with philosophies.
40:47What am I getting at?
40:48Satan
40:49blinds the understanding
40:51through teachings
40:53which are not true.
40:55So that he would do it,
40:57so that it does not shine brightly,
40:58the light of the Gospel,
41:00of the glory of Christ,
41:01What is the image of God?
41:02So that he doesn't see
41:03Christ
41:04through Scripture
41:05exactly as He is.
41:07That He is the image
41:08of God,
41:09Christ.
41:10That's what God is like.
41:11How do we see God?
41:13He who has seen me,
41:14has seen the Father.
41:15But if I don't see it clearly,
41:17I don't see it in a scripture.
41:18because of false doctrines,
41:19false prophets,
41:21for my heart
41:21who deceives me,
41:22Then I don't see Jesus.
41:24And I don't see the Father either.
41:26Well,
41:27It's important to see
41:28to Jesus of the Bible.
41:29And Satan will take care of it.
41:31and will strive
41:32so that we
41:33We didn't get to see it.
41:34And I reached the last point.
41:36what is it,
41:37There are only two paths
41:38to choose from.
41:40There are two paths.
41:41There are no other ways.
41:43There is a way
41:44of eternal life.
41:46An eternity with God
41:47or the path
41:48of eternal damnation.
41:50The fire,
41:51as they say in Revelation,
41:53fire and blue.
41:55There is no other.
41:56Just that two.
42:00Not as it says in Matthew,
42:02No?
42:02The wide road to perdition
42:04in Matthew 7:13
42:05It is entering through the narrow door
42:06because wide at the door
42:08and spacious
42:08is the way
42:09that leads to perdition
42:10and many
42:11They are the ones who enter
42:11for him.
42:12Siblings,
42:13It tells us that there are many.
42:15Can't find them?
42:17He says there are many.
42:18He tells us
42:19enter through the narrow door
42:21because that
42:22It leads to eternal life.
42:23Who is the narrow gate?
42:24Jesus Christ.
42:25It's the door.
42:27And how does it come
42:28the entrance
42:29in the kingdom of God?
42:30When a person
42:31it is preached to him
42:32the Gospel
42:33Believe in the Lord
42:33Christ
42:34And there is regret.
42:35genuine
42:36in his heart.
42:37His living life
42:37falls behind
42:38and enter into the new life
42:40with hope
42:41and faith
42:42in our Lord
42:43Christ
42:43because He is the door
42:44And he says so.
42:45I am the door
42:45of the sheep.
42:47I am the door
42:48his.
42:49But,
42:49how is?
42:50Without regret
42:52can believe
42:52to the child in Jesus Christ
42:53really.
42:54No,
42:55This is something you regret.
42:56A regret
42:57genuine
42:58in our lives.
42:59But here the Scripture
42:59He warns us
43:00and tells us
43:01enter through the narrow passage.
43:03Because on the other hand
43:04A lot of people go.
43:05but it leads to ruin.
43:08Because the narrow path
43:09It leads us to life.
43:11Because it narrows
43:11It's the door
43:12and anguish
43:12is the way
43:13that leads to life
43:14and few are the
43:15Let them do it.
43:18Brother,
43:18we talked about the road
43:19of God.
43:20Few are those who
43:21find the way
43:21of God
43:22Scripture says.
43:23Did you think
43:24Have you ever been in that situation?
43:25It doesn't say there are many.
43:27Few are those who
43:28find the way
43:29of God.
43:30Bit.
43:33that the way
43:34who is it?
43:37It is knowing Jesus
43:38really.
43:39Having a relationship
43:40intimate with Him.
43:43To meet him,
43:43serve it,
43:44obey him,
43:45love him,
43:46to overwhelm him,
43:47the one who loves me
43:48Keep my word,
43:49to be for us
43:50the most important treasure,
43:51the Lord of my life.
43:53When I say
43:53Christ is Lord
43:54of my life,
43:55He is the one who comes into my life.
43:56He is the one who comes into my life.
43:57He is the one who comes into my life.
43:58When I say
43:59Christ is my shepherd,
44:00what does it mean
44:01that He may shepherd me,
44:02He takes me,
44:03He teaches me,
44:04I obey him,
44:05I serve it
44:05And I'm going to finish it.
44:09The Bible,
44:10As I said before,
44:10It clearly teaches us
44:11that the only way
44:12to stop God
44:13on the way
44:13It's the one that works.
44:15Well,
44:16But it is important,
44:17brother,
44:17brother,
44:18to know Jesus
44:19really.
44:20He who believes in me
44:21as Scripture says,
44:22says the Lord.
44:24He who believes in me
44:25as the Scripture says.
44:26I'm going to read it to you
44:27that part
44:28And that's it.
44:29Because those who find
44:30the way of God
44:31They will be truly free.
44:33In John 8,
44:35from 32 to 36,
44:37He tells us,
44:37John chapter 8,
44:38verses 32 to 36,
44:40says,
44:41And you will know the truth,
44:44and the truth
44:45It will lift you up.
44:46They replied,
44:47We are the offspring of Abraham,
44:49and we have never been
44:50slaves of no one.
44:51What did you say?
44:52You will be free.
44:54Jesus answered him,
44:55Indeed,
44:56Truly I tell you,
44:57that everyone who does
44:58sin slave
44:59It is from sin.
45:00And the slave
45:01there is nothing left in the house
45:02forever.
45:03The son does remain
45:04forever.
45:05So,
45:06So if the son
45:07libertare,
45:08You will be truly free.
45:10Brother,
45:11something very important
45:12in the context.
45:13He thought
45:13who are children of God,
45:14Know God,
45:15to Abraham,
45:16and he was a slave
45:17of sin.
45:18A long way to go
45:19It seems good to men.
45:20He thought
45:21who is right with God,
45:22But Christ comes to say,
45:23we are slaves
45:24of sin.
45:26What are you like, children?
45:28of Abraham
45:28if you are slaves
45:30of sin?
45:33No?
45:34And she couldn't see,
45:36Why couldn't I see?
45:36Because I thought
45:37that ritualism,
45:39Do that,
45:40do another one,
45:41the toast,
45:43pray,
45:44pray,
45:45and all that,
45:46It hasn't come out.
45:48He wasn't really
45:49because it was unfair
45:50in his heart,
45:50because the same
45:51as Christ says
45:52who treated badly
45:53to the widow,
45:54to the orphans,
45:55It wasn't fair.
45:56when he tried
45:57adultery,
45:58and manipulated
45:59because I wanted to
45:59earn money,
46:01saved
46:01so that others
46:02see it,
46:03holy people,
46:04Or well,
46:04He sought vainglory,
46:05It wasn't sincere
46:06servants of God,
46:08No?
46:08But there is something important,
46:10and the slave
46:10there is nothing left in the house
46:11forever,
46:12the son
46:13Yes, it remains forever.
46:14that is to say,
46:14if the son
46:15that falls home,
46:16in your life,
46:17in your heart,
46:18if the son
46:18enter your heart,
46:19It frees you,
46:21He has power
46:22to free yourself,
46:23Because he says,
46:24So if the son
46:25with their freedoms
46:26you will be truly free,
46:27if Christ
46:28It's in your life,
46:29Are you truly free?
46:30because it was already out
46:31Satan,
46:32because the one who is
46:33in us
46:33It's bigger
46:34that is in the world,
46:35if Christ
46:36go in there,
46:37He is all-powerful
46:38and has power,
46:39He brings freedom.
46:40to our life,
46:41siblings,
46:42then I'm going to
46:43to conclude that,
46:44Christ is the way,
46:45the truth,
46:46and life,
46:48Get to know him,
46:49Look for it,
46:49It is the only hope
46:51that it has,
46:51is the Lord
46:52Christ,
46:53he,
46:53He is more important
46:55for your life,
46:56with anything
46:57that exists in the universe,
46:58he,
46:59believe in him,
47:00Serve it to him,
47:01Love him,
47:02treasure it,
47:03because nobody is
47:04as the Lord
47:05Christ,
47:06And he proved it to you.
47:06when he left heaven,
47:08and died for you
47:09and for me
47:09on the cross,
47:10Mister,
47:11Thank you
47:12for this afternoon,
47:13Mister,
47:13Thank you
47:14by your word,
47:15Mister,
47:17Sweet is your word,
47:18Mister,
47:19Sweet is for our
47:20hearts,
47:21Mister,
47:22and often
47:22your word too,
47:24Mister,
47:24They are thorns,
47:25Mister,
47:26But it's for our own good,
47:27Mister,
47:28Glory to your holy name,
47:29because of your word
47:30it's the truth,
47:30And I ask you,
47:31Mister,
47:31for every heart
47:32who is here this afternoon,
47:34May God bless him,
47:35that he may emerge edified
47:36in truth,
47:37that he has that intention
47:39And let him do it.
47:40Mister,
47:41to sincerely seek you,
47:43to know you and to love you,
47:45Mister,
47:46Thank you,
47:47Mister,
47:47in the name of your son,
47:48Amen.
