00:00Romans chapter 1, verse 18
00:04Well, you know what? We've talked before about the man who has life with justice.
00:30The truth is God, the truth. As Jesus says, that is the way, the truth is life.
00:36Well, and we read a couple of things, but I'm going to stop and focus on the same context.
00:43Today I gave it the title, man stops the truth with his injustice through persecution, which persecutes the truth.
00:53And he strives from the beginning to pursue the truth that is God.
00:57God is truth.
01:00And as it says here in Romans chapter 1, verse 18, it says
01:07For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness.
01:19So why does it say here? Before that, Paul says, I do not shrink from the Gospel because it is the power of God.
01:27And why is the Gospel necessary? Because man, with his injustice, suppresses the truth.
01:32Of the fall of Adam, of the fall of Adam, of the fall of Adam, when he was deceived by Satan, when Eve and Adam fell.
01:39From there man is deceived by the devil and stops the truth with his injustice.
01:45That is what Scripture teaches and that is why it hates the truth, it persecutes the truth.
01:50And he doesn't want the truth, he doesn't want the light, he doesn't want to live in the truth.
01:56But, of course, there is a lot of religion in the world.
01:59There is a lot.
02:00And each one says he knows the truth.
02:02But where is the truth?
02:04In reality.
02:05As I have said before.
02:07We live in a society, brother, in a world that hates the truth.
02:10From the beginning, he hated the truth, but today, we live more in Europe, it is a relative system of thinking that the truth does not exist as it would be.
02:22And relativism came, that's what he calls that ideology that says everything is relative.
02:28For example, I'll give you an example.
02:29If you believe that God, I tell him many times, God is a bird, is that okay?
02:35No problem.
02:36That's your truth.
02:37Now, do you think God is any different?
02:40It's okay, nothing's wrong.
02:42Each one as we believe God is, is fine.
02:45And we all have the truth.
02:48But according to the scripture that is not real.
02:51God is and is.
02:53And He is as He is.
02:55And He wants us to know Him as He is.
02:59Because imagine loving a lie.
03:03God does not allow that, that we love a lie.
03:06God wants us to know and love Him as He is.
03:11According to Him it is true.
03:12That's why it's so important to know the truth.
03:16It's very important, brother.
03:18Christ says, I am the way, the truth and the life.
03:21No one comes to the Father, that is not through me.
03:23So, Christ is the truth that was incarnated in this world, that was begotten by the power of the Holy Spirit.
03:29And He came and He says, I am the way, the truth and the life.
03:33He doesn't say, I know the truth.
03:35Or I'll show you the truth.
03:37He says, I am the truth.
03:40It is so important to know God as He is.
03:43But we live in a world that hates God.
03:46He hates the truth.
03:47This is the reality.
03:49From the beginning.
03:50And not only that, the enemy has tried to silence, distort and persecute her.
03:57That is, the enemy Satan distorts the truth and persecutes the truth.
04:02It deceives, as the Corinthians say.
04:05In Corinthians they say that the God of this century refers to the devil, who blinded the understanding of unbelievers so that they would not see the glory of Christ.
04:16In the Gospel, that He is the image of the invisible God, as it says in the Gospel, He blinded the understanding.
04:22What does that mean?
04:23With another ideology.
04:26Whether it is religious or not religious, depending on the culture.
04:31So that he may not see the glory of Christ.
04:32So, distort, persecute, hate the truth.
04:35Why the hell does he hate the truth so much?
04:37Because He is the father of lies, according to the Bible.
04:40He is the father of lies.
04:43He is shadowless, he is not light.
04:45Only he who is in the light can love the light.
04:49That light is truth, brother.
04:50So everything that is not of the light abolishes the light and pursues the light.
04:56And hates the light.
04:57And the Bible says that God is light.
04:59And in Him there is no darkness.
05:02He is perfect.
05:03But as we see that man with his injustice, there is the problem, he stops the truth.
05:11Although he has sufficient revelation about God,
05:14consciously holds back the truth, hates the truth, and does not want the truth.
05:21And he wants to live as he pleases.
05:22Because the Bible also says in John that the light does not want to come because his works are evil.
05:27They live in sin and the light does not want to come.
05:30Because if the light comes, his work is seen.
05:33But to him who is in God, he says, comes light.
05:36That's why he chases.
05:37It is very important to understand that.
05:40So, with his injustice, man pursues the truth.
05:43Paul shows us that the root of the Roman problem is not ignorance, but rebellion.
05:52Man knows about God, but decides to suppress him.
05:55As it says here.
05:57And he says, because he says later in 19, because what is known about God is manifest to him, because God has manifested it to him.
06:03Romans 1.19
06:05And he says, because his invisible qualities, even his eternal power and age, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world.
06:15Being understood by the things that are made, so that there is no excuse.
06:21For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks.
06:27But their reasoning became futile, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
06:32He is saying that man has enough light to see God.
06:37God teaches himself that he exists.
06:42And then, through creation, God manifests himself and God is evident.
06:48It is obvious and there is no excuse to deny it.
06:52It's not ignorance, it's injustice, as it says here.
06:56And with his injustice he holds back the truth.
07:00But through that, now we are in the context because it pursues the truth.
07:07His attitude is not only human.
07:10That is, their attitude is influenced by the deception and lies of the devil.
07:17To pursue the truth.
07:19It is fueled by Satan, the father of lies, who seeks to hinder the truth of the gospel.
07:30Why does the devil want to stop the truth?
07:32The devil doesn't want me to be saved.
07:34As I've told you many times, if salvation comes through that door, the enemy who doesn't want you to be saved, all he wants to do is prevent you from entering and exiting through there.
07:45As for the rest, do what you want.
07:47But if salvation lies there, it will haunt him.
07:50And that's going to dig it.
07:52And that's going to cover it up.
07:54And he's going to chase him.
07:55And it's going to be scary.
07:55He's going to do a lot of things to prevent humans from coming and knowing the truth.
08:00And be free.
08:02Because?
08:03The gospel is necessary because the Bible says, since all have sinned, all fall short of the glory of God.
08:09There is no human being who has not sinned.
08:13Every human being has lied, cheated, disobeyed parents, spoken ill of siblings, spoken ill of parents, and done a lot of bad things.
08:24And now comes the day of God's judgment and how he will appear in God's judgment with that sin, if God is just.
08:34If God is just, how will he be saved?
08:36That's the biggest problem there is.
08:40How a just God can forgive sinners.
08:45We can say, God is love and forgives because He is good.
08:49We can say, God is merciful and God forgives through his mercy if we do not repent.
08:58All of that is true.
08:59But where is God just?
09:04Where does it stand if God is just, the one who pays for sin in death?
09:09The Scripture says, he who sins against God deserves to die.
09:12And He commanded, you shall not steal, you shall not kill, you shall love God with all your mind, with all your soul, with all your being.
09:23And if you didn't and failed so many times against God, then you need the Gospel.
09:30That's the problem.
09:31So Satan wants to cover up, hide, and cover that up.
09:36And man also lets himself be carried away because he hates God.
09:40And he doesn't like God.
09:42He likes a God made in his image, in his flesh, in his fallen nature in Adam.
09:48But not the God, the true God, the living God who made heaven and earth.
09:54And look how he tells us in John, in John 8, 44.
09:59Jesus Christ speaks here with the Pharisees who were leaders of the people of Israel.
10:05And look what Jesus Christ says to them.
10:08In John 8:44.
10:10He says to him, you are of your father the devil and you want to do the desires of your father.
10:18He was a murderer from the beginning, and the truth did not remain, because there is no truth in him.
10:25When he speaks his own lies, he speaks because he is a liar and the father of lies.
10:31That is to say, the father of lies is the one who invented the lie.
10:34Satan.
10:38Imagine the scene.
10:39Jesus Christ was born Jewish, among the Jews, and he speaks to the religious leaders that the people thought was the most holy thing at that time.
10:49Who fulfilled the law of God, who went and acted according to the truth.
10:54And now Jesus comes and says to those people.
10:57He doesn't say it to an adulterer, he doesn't say it to a fornicator, he doesn't say it to a drunkard, he doesn't say it to a thief, he says it to someone who was religious at that time.
11:09And he says to a religious person at that moment.
11:11In fact, at that moment, a religious person says, we don't have any, we are not the adulterer's, he says to a religious person at that moment.
11:16Because we have Abraham as our father, he says, we are not of fornication, we have Abraham as our father.
11:23And Jesus Christ tells him, if you were Abraham's, Rias is left over.
11:27But you, he comes here and says to him, you are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father.
11:36He has been a murderer from the beginning.
11:38Killer from the start.
11:40Murder through lies.
11:42It deceives man, it destroys man through lies.
11:45He turned man away through lies.
11:48He separated man through lies.
11:50And how did you separate it?
11:51On the day he ate the fruit, in Eden, he says to him, you will not die.
11:56But God commanded Adam, you shall not touch, for in the day that you touch, you shall die.
12:03But once the devil is done, you will not die.
12:06Hey?
12:06Like a lie or a lie, right?
12:08You go on, God knows that on the day when you eat, you will be like God.
12:13And they died.
12:15And here we are, the Bible says, and so sin passed to every human being,
12:20and all of us making the world die.
12:23So we see how the devil is the father of lies, a murderer through lies, and a deceiver.
12:29When he speaks lies about his speech, because he is a liar and the father of lies.
12:34He was a murderer from the beginning and did not stand in the truth.
12:37He has not remained in the truth, Satan.
12:40He has not remained in God, but in the truth of God.
12:43He went outside of God and began to lie and become corrupt.
12:47For Satan, brother, was created by God, a powerful angel, who at first was holy, but became corrupt and fell away.
12:58This is what the Bible teaches.
13:00So God didn't create Satan evil, he became corrupt.
13:05He decided to put himself on the throne just like God, says the Scripture, because he wanted to be worshipped and served like God.
13:12And God rejected him from heaven and cast him down to earth, according to the Bible.
13:17And the Lord allowed it.
13:19There are things we understand and know and others we don't.
13:21But what we understand here is that he is the father of lies and that Spartiate eventually murdered Jesus.
13:29Look, man needs the Gospel precisely because by resisting the truth, he places himself under the wrath of God.
13:38By resisting God's truth, by resisting what God says, man places himself under God's wrath.
13:46And being under the wrath of God, the wages of sin and death.
13:50And the fulfillment of God's wrath is hell.
13:55It is the man who desists from the truth with his injustice, who places himself under the wrath of God.
14:00Jesus prepared his disciple for rejection and suffering.
14:07And now Jesus prepares us for rejection and suffering.
14:11And we are going to be persecuted, as the Scripture says.
14:13We are going to be killed, persecuted.
14:16And it began everywhere, from the beginning we will see it as a biblical example with Cain and until the end.
14:22Because the truth is persecuted and God allows it, in this way.
14:28This is where the power of the Gospel is shown, willing to die for the truth, but not harming others.
14:36Loving as Christ loved.
14:39Remember that Christ was on the cross and said, forgive him Father, for he knows not what he does.
14:44The world that rejected Christ will also reject us.
14:54So we have to be clear about that.
14:56And now I'm going to give you some biblical examples.
15:00In the Bible people, we talk about the Bible of the Testament, where people were persecuted.
15:07Abel, in Genesis 4:8, but I'm not going to read that, I'm just saying it.
15:11He was killed by his brother, because his sacrifice was accepted by God.
15:17Because his sacrifice was accepted and the other was not accepted.
15:21Then out of envy, because of the sin that was in him, he persecuted the truth, God murdered.
15:30It says in 1 John 3:12, that Cain was of the evil one.
15:36The Bible says there, do not be like Cain, who was of the evil one.
15:42And what did he do? He murdered his brother.
15:44And why did he kill him?
15:45Because his work was good and he raised it by hand.
15:49Do you see how the truth has been?
15:51He couldn't stand the light.
15:53He hated, he hated when God told him the truth.
15:57That his sacrifice to God was not sincere, it was not from the heart and God has told him the truth.
16:03God does not lie and cannot lie, brother.
16:05If you do it right, it tells you it's right.
16:08And if you do it wrong, it tells you it's wrong.
16:11He doesn't want to please you and make you feel good.
16:13Feel good about the truth.
16:15And if you get offended, that's a problem.
16:18The truth offends.
16:19Then we see how he chased his brother.
16:22Justice always provokes opposition from the wicked.
16:27Justice provokes and the world of sin opposes justice and truth.
16:35Another example is Elijah, persecuted for denouncing the idolatry of Ahab and Jezebel.
16:42Remember, Jezebel married Ahab.
16:45Ahab was a Jewish king.
16:48In the northern kingdom of Israel.
16:50Jezebel was a Phoenician from Tyre and her father's name was Ekbal, who was from the Phoenicians.
16:59Jews were forbidden to marry women who were from others, who were not from their people,
17:05so as not to separate him from God and lead him to idolatry.
17:09So he disobeyed God, married that woman and that woman had Baal as her God.
17:15Baal was the god of the people, the god of fertility, the god of rain, who had him there with the Phoenicians, he had him as a God.
17:25So that woman came into the people of Israel, married the king and brought that God,
17:30that the ritual that they had in their religion was that they harmed themselves.
17:36There were rituals, screaming loudly, then temple prostitution, having sex in the temple.
17:50And there were religious forms that totally contradicted the truth of God.
17:54God is holy, God is pure, he does not want those things.
17:57And more than that, he led him to worship images, idols, statues.
18:02And then that woman came in there, brought her gods, and now what has she done?
18:07He began to persecute all the prophets of God, killing them, murdering them to establish his religiosity, his rites.
18:16And reject the God of Israel who delivered them from Egypt.
18:20And Elijah was persecuted, but remember that on Mount Carmel, when he went to pray who was of God and who was not,
18:28There were 450 prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel.
18:35And he put a sacrifice there and he had to bring fire from heaven and burn that sacrifice.
18:42So the prophets of Baal spent hours shouting, praying and doing, self, hurting themselves,
18:49exporting himself, because he was accustomed to that, his religion, cutting himself, hurting himself and the sky did not fall because of the fire from heaven.
18:57But Elijah was of the living God who created heaven and earth.
19:01When he stood up and asked the Lord, the fire came.
19:06And it burned.
19:07And I'm going to say that there was the sacrifice there.
19:10And so God showed that God is with them.
19:13That the prophets could perform any miracles, he has not said anything.
19:16So Elijah did what he did, killing all the prophets of Baal, which was by God's command.
19:22That's what we're talking about in the Old Testament.
19:24Now we do not have that custom, because the Bible says, it is with the spirit, not with the sword.
19:32More by my spirit, not with the sword, is the writing.
19:35So that's why Elijah was persecuted.
19:37And here we come to our text, which is in First Kings 19.
19:42And we're going to read a couple of verses up to 10.
19:50Now he says, here he gave Elizabeth the news of everything Elijah had done and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword.
19:59Then she sent a messenger to Elizabeth and Elijah, saying, "So may the gods do to me."
20:05And it still adds to me.
20:07If tomorrow is now, I have not placed your person as one of them.
20:13In fact, it's going to kill him.
20:15Seeing the danger, he got up and left to save his life.
20:19And he came to Beersheba, which is in Budá, and left his servant there.
20:24And he went a day's journey into the wilderness.
20:27And he came and sat under a juniper tree.
20:30And wishing to die, he said, "Enough, O Lord."
20:34Ehová means God.
20:37It means, I am who I am.
20:40Take my life, for I am no better than my parents.
20:44And he lay down under the juniper tree and fell asleep.
20:47And then an angel touched him and said, get up and eat.
20:52Then he looked and here at his head a baked cake on sugars and one empty of water.
21:00And he ate and drank and went back to sleep.
21:04And the angel of the LORD came again and touched him the second time, saying, Arise and eat.
21:09Because you have a long way to go.
21:11So he got up and ate and drank and became strong with that food.
21:17He walked forty days and forty nights until he worked on the mountain of God.
21:22And there he went into a cave where he spent the night.
21:27And the word of the Lord came to him.
21:30And he said to him, what are you doing here, Elias?
21:33He answered, I have been very jealous for the Lord, the God of hosts.
21:38For the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, have removed your altars, and have killed your prophets with the sword.
21:46And I'm the only one left, and he's looking for me to take my life.
21:51I read it to him so he could see the context, brother.
21:53He says, the children of Israel, as that woman tricked him.
21:58The king was carried away by her.
22:00Now he persecuted the true prophets of God and killed them.
22:04And he then demonstrated, as I told you before, who the living God is, the true one, and he pursued him here.
22:13Brother, what do I want to tell you?
22:14Do you see how the truth is persecuted?
22:19How did he chase him from there?
22:21How did he want to put it in?
22:22Devil, devil was behind.
22:24The Bible says that behind every idol there is a devil.
22:27Behind the idols, the idols are not God.
22:31God has no physical form to look at and worship images or other things.
22:37God is spirit and he who wants to worship him is in spirit and in truth, says the Scripture.
22:42But we see that here they killed the prophets of God if they want to take my life.
22:47But he couldn't take it away, in the end God won.
22:52The truth always makes false lions uncomfortable.
22:56That's what he wants to get out of it.
22:58The truth always makes false lions uncomfortable.
23:02It makes him uncomfortable.
23:04Because he tells the truth.
23:06Look, brother, I'm telling you something very important.
23:08When someone loves, he loves, that he thinks he is God, but that is not God, he loves him.
23:14And he is capable of dying.
23:17A man can die for a lie and a woman.
23:21Thinking that is the truth and he is capable of dying for it.
23:25But the question is whether it is true or not.
23:27Whether it's really true or not.
23:30Do you remember, I'm giving Paul an example, how he went about zealously arresting Christians in Damascus?
23:37He was extremely jealous and wanted to murder and kill him because he thought he was harming his religion.
23:46And here we see, we draw from that lesson, as I said before, that the truth always makes false religions uncomfortable.
23:53Now, another example is Jeremiah.
23:55Beaten, imprisoned for speaking the word of the Lord.
23:58Although the prophet wanted to remain silent, the truth was in his heart.
24:04So, he preached judgment.
24:05He told the people, he says, repent and return to the God of the Bible.
24:11Repent, but their sins continued.
24:13He worshipped idols.
24:15He even went so far as to sacrifice his children to Moló, who is another God who had the Canaanites and the Penicians there.
24:22He sacrificed his children and God hated those brothers.
24:25And Jeremiah came and preached the truth to him.
24:28Repent, turn to God.
24:30That is what God hates.
24:32And they continued with their thing.
24:34Then the king took him, seized him, and threw him there in a joy.
24:39And he despised it.
24:41The scripture says that even the children made poetry and songs that mocked him.
24:48He was seen as trash in his town and he spoke the truth.
24:53See how lies and deception pursue the truth.
24:57He was beaten, imprisoned for speaking the word of God.
25:00And Jesus Christ tells him that all the prophets were persecuted by him.
25:05All.
25:05Because I didn't want to hear the truth.
25:07That is because of his injustice, the truth has it.
25:09God told him, no, I don't want to sacrifice the children.
25:13I'm hating that.
25:16And he hasn't been.
25:17I don't want idols.
25:18They are not gods.
25:19They did not create heaven and earth.
25:21God told him, do not marry those who are not of your people, that will not separate you from God.
25:30And they got married.
25:32And he did everything contrary to God.
25:34And God sent the prophet to declare a truth.
25:37And they chased him.
25:38And God killed him.
25:40In the same reality, brother.
25:42Daniel was persecuted for praying faithfully and thrown into the lions' den.
25:50God honors his word.
25:54Daniel began to pray and was eventually thrown into the lions' den.
25:58And the lions ate him.
26:00No, brother.
26:01God is prayed in the lion's mouth.
26:03Because God is almighty.
26:04Conseña and of course life.
26:05God honors or does not compromise.
26:07He is committed to the truth.
26:09All who commit themselves to the truth, God honors them.
26:13But he was not afraid of being persecuted.
26:16As usual, he began to pray.
26:18One day he ordered that no one could pray.
26:23He prayed.
26:24We see how the multiform truth is persecuted.
26:27Stephen was persecuted.
26:31The first Christian Martin died seeing Christ standing in heaven.
26:35The Bible says here.
26:37We are going to read it in Acts 107, from 51 to 60.
26:50In Acts.
26:51Says.
26:52Hard in service, in the circumcised of heart and ear.
26:56You always resist the Holy Spirit, just as your fathers did.
27:02So do you.
27:03Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute?
27:07He realizes how they tell him.
27:09And they killed those who had announced beforehand the coming of the righteous one.
27:13Of whom you have now been betrayers and murderers.
27:18You received the law through the disposition of angels and you did not keep it.
27:23Hearing these things, they were enraged in their hearts and gnashed their teeth at him.
27:30But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God.
27:36And Jesus standing at the right hand of God.
27:38And he said.
27:39And here I see heaven open toward the Son of Man who is at the right hand of God.
27:43Then they, with loud cries, covered their ears and turned against him.
27:51And they cast him out of the city and stoned him, and the witnesses laid his garment at the feet of a young man whose name was Saul.
28:00And he stoned Stephen while he was calling and saying.
28:04Lord Jesus receive my spirit.
28:06And at daybreak he cried out with a loud voice.
28:09Lord, do not hold this sin against him.
28:12And having said this he slept.
28:15As they chased him and he tells him.
28:17Hard to serve.
28:19You do not want to receive the truth.
28:21So did your parents.
28:24They killed the prophets who were so keen that they had to come.
28:27And you pursued him and killed him too.
28:30And they fought him too.
28:32Do you realize how the truth is persecuted?
28:34He who is not in the truth is in the never-ending.
28:37So here we see another example from the Bible.
28:42Lesson we can learn.
28:43The truth may cost us our lives, but it leads us to eternity.
28:48The truth may not cost us our lives, but it takes us to eternity.
28:51I am the way, the truth, the truth.
28:54Jesus tells us.
28:57The apostles were also persecuted.
29:01And we know that they were all murdered outside, outside of Juan.
29:06They all died from being persecuted for preaching the gospel, brother.
29:11Jesus.
29:13But here we are after two thousand years.
29:16Many people realize that I want to make a parenthesis here.
29:20Many people say Christ did not rise because of the apostles, because the lie is like that,
29:25They tested his body and so the Roman Empire did not find him.
29:31It was very difficult to get in there because of the military personnel there.
29:34First, everything was closed.
29:37But then, brother, imagine something.
29:40Who is capable of giving his life for a lie?
29:43Imagine there is a madman.
29:47But what?
29:47Twelve?
29:48The twelve, according to, outside the Bible, according to history too,
29:52It is known that they were killed for preaching the gospel.
29:56And who is going to preach the gospel if they know that Jesus was a lie?
30:01Am I capable of abandoning my life and preaching to the death for a lie?
30:07No, brother.
30:08If Christ does not rise again, Christianity dies there in the grave.
30:11There is no life anymore.
30:12There you go...
30:13He was a liar.
30:15But as the Romans say there, we will read it more at the end,
30:18that took a while.
30:20Christ rose again and thus proved that he was who he said he was.
30:25But the truth is always persecuted.
30:27So the apostles were persecuted, killed,
30:31apart from Juan, who was imprisoned on Palmos Island,
30:35where he wrote Revelation.
30:36He was also persecuted.
30:37He was not killed, but persecuted.
30:40The Christians of the Roman Empire were persecuted by the Roman Emperor,
30:45a hero who set fire to the city and held it as a torch.
30:50Surrendered to the lions.
30:51He killed him and handed him over to the lions.
30:53The gospel was preached by the word.
30:56He was never taken by the sword.
30:57What took by the sword, false Christianity by the Roman Empire,
31:01through Constantine, who twisted Christianity,
31:04which is not the real one,
31:05which is the Catholic Church,
31:07which is not the truth.
31:08It's a lie.
31:10It is not the way God taught us.
31:13So preaching the gospel is by the spirit,
31:16not by that sword.
31:17Although they were persecuted,
31:19the gospel grew more and more, more and more.
31:21And as the Roman Empire saw
31:23that Christianity grew in that way,
31:25Constantine, one hundred years after Christ,
31:28He took and adopted that lion as the lion of the empire,
31:32but he twisted it.
31:35And mixed with paganism,
31:37That's why there are idols and lies.
31:39Vigilantes, idols,
31:42statues,
31:42loves images,
31:44Christ on crosses,
31:46and all that is a lie from the devil.
31:49We don't see the writing of that here.
31:51But I tell you so that you can put it into context.
31:53We can only convince through the truth.
31:57Nothing can convince a person through violence,
32:01or otherwise.
32:04Because if he does not believe,
32:05doesn't believe.
32:07You know what I'm telling you?
32:08So it is by the spirit,
32:09as the Lord says,
32:10but they were persecuted,
32:11as it says here in Acts.
32:14Look what it says.
32:15They,
32:16at a temple they healed a man,
32:21after they healed him,
32:22they caught him,
32:23they arrested him,
32:24and now he came,
32:25after I had it,
32:26I had a waxed night,
32:29Now came the religious of that time,
32:31and tells him that.
32:32However,
32:33It says here,
32:34in Acts 4,
32:38from recycling 17,
32:40says,
32:41however,
32:42so that it may not spread further among the people,
32:44let us threaten them,
32:46so that he does not speak from now on,
32:48to any man in this name,
32:50and call it infinite,
32:52that none,
32:53in no way spoke,
32:54nor teach in the name of Jesus,
32:57But Peter and John answered, saying,
32:59judge whether it is righteous before God,
33:02obey you rather than God,
33:04because we can,
33:05because we can't leave,
33:07to tell what they have seen and heard.
33:12We can't leave.
33:13They then,
33:15they threatened him,
33:17and they released him,
33:18finding no way to punish them,
33:21for the sake of the people,
33:22because everything glorified God,
33:24for what he had done,
33:26and that man,
33:27that in whom this miracle had been performed,
33:29of health,
33:31was over 40 years old,
33:32so,
33:33I was afraid,
33:34to stick it,
33:34to overthrow the people,
33:35because they healed that man,
33:37so,
33:38if they hit him,
33:39the people say,
33:39wait,
33:40but who is capable,
33:41only the power of God,
33:42is capable of healing a man like that,
33:44with that disease,
33:46You know?
33:47So,
33:47They were afraid,
33:49to stick it,
33:50but they threatened him,
33:51you see?
33:51They threatened him,
33:52they were chasing him,
33:52not to preach in that name anymore,
33:54but it is fair,
33:56before God,
33:57firstly,
33:57obey God,
33:58and not to men,
33:59because we can't leave,
34:01what we hear,
34:02and what we saw.
34:04It's a reality,
34:05I already know the truth,
34:06It's a reality for me,
34:07I can't say anything else,
34:09my conscience is tied,
34:10to the truth,
34:11so,
34:12but they were persecuted,
34:13by the Jews,
34:15forbidden to preach,
34:16the truth,
34:17but they said,
34:18we can't leave,
34:20to say what we have seen,
34:21and heard.
34:24The persecution,
34:25does not stop the truth,
34:26spreads it,
34:27brother,
34:27with how much he is persecuted,
34:29grows more,
34:30and grows more,
34:31because,
34:31Do you know why?
34:32There is already a verse,
34:33that I love,
34:34which says so,
34:34Do not be afraid,
34:35small herd,
34:37because my father,
34:38I like it,
34:40give him the kingdom,
34:42the one who loves him,
34:43God gives him the kingdom,
34:44that's why it's writing,
34:45nor the one who,
34:47he strives,
34:48if the one who,
34:49bye bye,
34:50that is to say,
34:50the kingdom of God,
34:51gives it,
34:52to the one who believes,
34:53in Jesus.
34:55Says,
34:55Do not be afraid,
34:56small herd,
34:57do not be afraid.
34:59Pablo in the roof,
35:00He was also persecuted,
35:01Paul was persecuted,
35:02brother,
35:03We already know,
35:04We know that he,
35:09has lashed,
35:10imprisoned,
35:11stoned,
35:12but never defeated,
35:14the word of God,
35:15she is not imprisoned,
35:16and I'll give you an example,
35:17biblical too,
35:18already,
35:19there is little time left,
35:21I'll give you an example,
35:21biblical,
35:22when he was persecuted,
35:23in Ephesus,
35:25Acts 19,
35:26from 23 to 28,
35:27in Ephesus,
35:30says,
35:30There was at that time,
35:31a riot,
35:32not small,
35:34about the path,
35:35because a silversmith,
35:36called Demetrius,
35:38that made of silver,
35:40little temples of Diana,
35:42gave,
35:42no small profit,
35:43to the archequices,
35:45to whom,
35:46gathered with the workers,
35:47of the same trade,
35:48say,
35:49values,
35:50you know,
35:50that from this trade,
35:51we have our wealth,
35:53but you see,
35:54and you hear,
35:54that this Paul,
35:56not only,
35:56in Ephesus,
35:57but in almost all of Asia,
35:59has alienated many people,
36:01with reluctance,
36:02saying,
36:03that are not gods,
36:04what is done,
36:05with your hands,
36:07Paul said,
36:08No,
36:08Idols are not gods,
36:09what is done,
36:10with your hands,
36:12and you know,
36:12says,
36:13that that man,
36:13preaches,
36:14and pushes people away,
36:17and not only,
36:18there is danger,
36:19that this,
36:20our business,
36:20come on,
36:21to discredit itself,
36:23but also,
36:24that in the temple,
36:25of the great goddess,
36:26Diana,
36:27be esteemed,
36:28in nothing,
36:29and begin,
36:29to be destroyed,
36:30the majesty of that one,
36:32whom he venerates,
36:32all of Asia,
36:33and the whole world,
36:35the goddess,
36:35Diana,
36:36she is not a goddess,
36:37it's a lie,
36:38the devil,
36:39there is only God,
36:42and that god,
36:43I adored them,
36:44in Asia,
36:44but they,
36:46they worked on that,
36:47made statues,
36:48did things,
36:49he was leaving,
36:50I sold it,
36:50and when,
36:51Pablo was going,
36:52and preached the gospel,
36:53many people moved away,
36:54and as he turned away,
36:55he didn't buy that,
36:56and since I didn't buy that,
36:57he lost the money,
36:59He didn't care about God,
37:00what mattered to him,
37:01make money,
37:02so,
37:03what he has done,
37:03is to chase him,
37:05because I was losing money,
37:07you see?
37:07because of money,
37:09the truth can be persecuted,
37:10for the interests of materialism,
37:12the truth can be persecuted,
37:14and look what he says,
37:15when they heard those things,
37:16they were filled with anger,
37:18and they cried out, saying,
37:19great goddesses of the Ephecians,
37:22effects is now,
37:24in Türkiye,
37:25in Istanbul,
37:27there is the effect,
37:28in Türkiye,
37:29and the city was filled with confusion,
37:31and yet,
37:32they threw themselves into the theater,
37:34snatching Rooster,
37:35and Aristrachus,
37:36Macedonian,
37:37Paul's companion,
37:38gone for them,
37:39they were filled with anger,
37:40and they shouted,
37:41great goddess Diana,
37:43but the goddess Diana,
37:44does not exist,
37:45brother,
37:45it's a lie,
37:47she prayed to a goddess,
37:48that did not exist,
37:49in reality,
37:50what he adored,
37:51It was Satan,
37:53because that goddess,
37:54did not exist,
37:54There are no goddesses,
37:56God exists,
37:58but goddesses,
37:59female,
37:59No,
38:00the Bible,
38:00This is not how you teach God,
38:02but I see,
38:02and there it comes too,
38:03the virgins,
38:04and all that,
38:06and then in 34,
38:08says,
38:08but when they met him,
38:09who were Jews,
38:10all shouted with one voice,
38:12for almost two hours,
38:13great goddesses of the Ephecians,
38:15brother,
38:15two hours,
38:16they started to scream,
38:17great goddesses of the Ephecians,
38:19Imagine,
38:20emotions,
38:22his hair stood on end,
38:23was capable of killing,
38:25and it was a lie,
38:26what I believed,
38:27and all in a deception,
38:29and pursued the truth,
38:31he realizes,
38:31like man,
38:32with its injustice,
38:33stops the truth,
38:34manipulating,
38:35deceived by Satan,
38:36so,
38:36we have to take into account,
38:38that biblical text,
38:39and learn from it,
38:40and see how,
38:41devil,
38:43he is scheming,
38:45cheating,
38:46and covering up the truth,
38:48the word of God,
38:49she is not imprisoned,
38:50brother,
38:51they couldn't,
38:52they couldn't stop him,
38:53and now we have as an example,
38:55greater than Jesus Christ,
38:57as an example,
38:58that he was persecuted,
38:59he is the truth,
39:00the truth itself,
39:00she was crucified,
39:01for a world,
39:02who loved lies,
39:05the world hates Christ,
39:07but his resurrection,
39:08proves that the truth,
39:09there is no,
39:10Well,
39:12look,
39:13in John 15,
39:15from 18 to 25,
39:17It says here,
39:18if the world tastes,
39:21knowing that I have hated myself,
39:23before us,
39:25if you were of the world,
39:26the world would love its own,
39:28but because you are not of the world,
39:30before I chose from the world,
39:33that's why the world tastes,
39:35remember the word,
39:37that I have told him,
39:38the circus is not bigger,
39:40that his lord,
39:41If he has persecuted me,
39:42also to you,
39:43you will perceive,
39:45if you have kept my word,
39:46will also keep yours,
39:48but all that,
39:49will make you,
39:50for my name's sake,
39:51because he does not know,
39:53to the one who sent me,
39:54here he doesn't know,
39:56bye bye,
39:57He does all that,
39:58because he does not know God,
40:01if I was never come,
40:03and I wouldn't have even spoken to them,
40:04I would have no sin,
40:06but now he has no excuse,
40:08for his sin,
40:10He who hates me,
40:11He also hates my father,
40:13if I hadn't done it,
40:14among them,
40:14works that no one has done,
40:16I would have no sin,
40:18but now he has seen,
40:19and has hated,
40:20me,
40:21and to my father,
40:22but this is,
40:23for it to be fulfilled,
40:24the word that is written,
40:26in his law,
40:27causeless,
40:28they hated me,
40:30that is tremendous,
40:31and knows what he's saying,
40:32I have done,
40:33according to the scripture,
40:34the little man,
40:35Christ has done,
40:36lots of miracles,
40:38resurrected people,
40:40multiplied,
40:41fish,
40:43I multiplied,
40:44bread,
40:46gave sight to the blind,
40:48opened,
40:50opened,
40:52That's Moses,
40:54that is,
40:55he sent it to the wind,
40:58but God through Moses,
41:00it's the same,
41:01because that's how,
41:02if we make a parenthesis,
41:03the God of Israel,
41:05before arriving,
41:06brother,
41:06has performed a lot of miracles,
41:07first he took out,
41:09to the people of Israel,
41:10from Egypt,
41:10with ten plagues,
41:12and defeated the God of Egypt,
41:13that it was a lie,
41:15opened the Red Sea,
41:16the Jews passed through the Red Sea,
41:18after God 40 years,
41:21He left him in the desert,
41:22and kept it,
41:23He defeated all the peoples,
41:25around,
41:25entered Jericho,
41:27and they did not shoot an arrow,
41:29and that's how,
41:30He proved that he is the real God,
41:32which is the only one that exists,
41:34in fact,
41:34the prostitute,
41:36who was in Jericho,
41:37The Bible says,
41:38that she heard,
41:40of what God has done,
41:42with the people of Israel,
41:43and how he destroyed the kings,
41:45around,
41:46and that's why he received the spies,
41:47because he knew,
41:48that is the God,
41:49another cannot be,
41:50that only he can make that pilacle,
41:52then Jesus,
41:53that's what he's saying,
41:54in another context,
41:56the miracle that has done it,
41:58Nobody has done it,
41:59and now he has no excuse,
42:02to hate me,
42:03but if it fulfills what the word says,
42:05who hated me without any cause,
42:07because the fog hates the light,
42:09that is the reality,
42:10Well, you know that many times,
42:11we talked about meat,
42:13the spirit,
42:13and he who is of the spirit,
42:14and the spirit,
42:15and that is that of the meat,
42:16meat is,
42:16he who is Adam,
42:17the man in Adam,
42:19does not know God,
42:21and hates God,
42:22and according to Jesus Christ says,
42:23who has to be born again,
42:25because it is meat,
42:27flesh is he who is spirit,
42:28spirit is like that,
42:29says,
42:29He who does not act from the spirit,
42:31and the water,
42:31and you can't see,
42:32and entering the kingdom of God,
42:34but that's why the meat,
42:36hates the truth,
42:38and pursues the truth,
42:39and we had our Lord Jesus Christ,
42:41as an example,
42:42we see it here,
42:43that will be hated,
42:46Well,
42:46in the time in which we live,
42:49also,
42:50are,
42:52persecuted,
42:52in modern times,
42:54moral relativism,
42:55gender heterony,
42:57denies the values of God,
42:58It says there,
42:59520,
43:00to the bad he says,
43:01Well,
43:01to the good he says bad,
43:02says,
43:02moral relativism,
43:04what I said before,
43:06You think God is a cow,
43:07very good,
43:08Alright,
43:09nothing one believes about God,
43:10as he believes,
43:11Alright,
43:12but it is not like that,
43:14as is the truth,
43:15It is a gender ideology,
43:17that man is not man,
43:19the woman is not a woman,
43:20has sexual relations,
43:22man with man,
43:22woman with woman,
43:23and not only that,
43:24that's in Spanish,
43:25There are 34 genres,
43:28and all that,
43:29and that pursues the truth,
43:31if we say,
43:32God created man and woman,
43:33and nothing more,
43:34and sexual relations,
43:36in marriage,
43:37not out,
43:38only if it is permitted by God,
43:39are you married,
43:40is man and woman,
43:42It is God's design,
43:43out of there,
43:44is to sin against God,
43:46when you say that,
43:46in that society,
43:47you will be persecuted,
43:48and will tell you that you,
43:50you hate people,
43:51who practice that type,
43:52of sexuality,
43:53but we don't hate it,
43:54we tell him the truth,
43:55according to God's design,
43:58today it is called intolerance,
44:00to holiness,
44:01governments persecute,
44:03will appear,
44:04for all,
44:04for the cause,
44:06of Christ,
44:07Satan,
44:08use comfort,
44:09the TV,
44:10movie,
44:10and so many, many things,
44:12and our response,
44:14siblings,
44:15Matthew 5,
44:1514,
44:16you,
44:16I am the light of the world,
44:18us,
44:21we are the light of the world,
44:22and we have to preach the truth,
44:24without fear,
44:26because,
44:27man is under the wrath of God,
44:28That's why you need the gospel,
44:30This is the reality,
44:31sin,
44:32not only destroys morally,
44:33but attracts,
44:34divine judgment,
44:36the gospel,
44:36It is the only escape,
44:38in Roman,
44:38what we read here,
44:40Roman 16,
44:40because not the shame of the gospel,
44:42because it is the power of God,
44:43for salvation,
44:44to everyone who believes,
44:45the Jew,
44:45criminally,
44:46and also to Greek,
44:47reject the truth,
44:50the gospel,
44:50is to reject the grace of God,
44:53today,
44:54more than ever,
44:55the world,
44:55needs to hear the truth,
44:58and we conclude,
45:00from Abel,
45:00until Christ,
45:01the truth,
45:02was always persecuted,
45:03but never defeated,
45:04Satan and man,
45:07try to stop,
45:08but God,
45:09makes it move forward,
45:10the persecution,
45:12It is not a sign of defeat,
45:13but of fidelity,
45:14the church,
45:15must continue,
45:16preaching with courage,
45:17because the truth is,
45:18of the gospel,
45:18is stronger,
45:19that any lie,
45:20of the world,
45:24blessed,
45:25Matthew 5 says,
45:2610,
45:2612,
45:27blessed,
45:27those who suffer persecution,
45:29for the cause of justice,
45:32the man,
45:32can imprison,
45:33to the messengers,
45:35but can never imprison,
45:37the truth of God,
45:39brother,
45:39can never do that,
45:41and I'm going to give it to you,
45:41a verse here,
45:42Roman at the beginning,
45:44where he speaks,
45:44about the gospel,
45:45in verse 13,
45:46in verse 12,
45:48talks about Christ,
45:49that was promised,
45:50by the prophets,
45:50that he had promised,
45:51before by the prophets,
45:52in the sound scriptures,
45:54about his son,
45:55Our Lord Jesus Christ,
45:56who was of the lineage,
45:57of David,
45:58according to the flesh,
45:59which was declared,
46:00son of God,
46:00with power,
46:01according to the Spirit,
46:02and of holiness,
46:02by the resurrection,
46:03among the dead,
46:06what does he mean there?
46:07Thus begins the Roman,
46:08here,
46:09is saying,
46:10that when he was resurrected,
46:11He was who he said he was,
46:14now,
46:14There are people who say,
46:15who did not rise again,
46:16There are people who say,
46:17who did not die,
46:19now,
46:20each,
46:21has the duty,
46:21to seek the truth,
46:23each,
46:23has the duty,
46:24to search,
46:25Do you know what he does?
46:25what he does many times,
46:27pride?
46:27Pride says,
46:29and what I believe,
46:30it's the truth,
46:30and it gives me pain,
46:31I love,
46:33what I love,
46:34whatever it is,
46:35more us,
46:36brother,
46:37we are in the light,
46:38As Jesus Christ says,
46:40He who follows me,
46:41says,
46:41They don't walk around and deny me,
46:43I am the light of the world,
46:45he says,
46:46I am the light of the world,
46:47He who believes in me,
46:49has eternal life,
46:50is another part,
46:51which says in the scripture,
46:54He who follows me,
46:55says he stood up,
46:56and says,
46:57come to me,
46:58and drink,
46:59He who believes in me,
47:00as the scripture says,
47:02Rivers will flow from it,
47:03of some love,
47:04so,
47:04Do not fear, brothers,
47:05I assure you,
47:07I assure you,
47:08that the Gospel will be greatly persecuted,
47:10in the future,
47:11and more in Europe,
47:12very persecuted,
47:13because in Europe,
47:15before there was a Christianity,
47:16cultural,
47:17and among them,
47:18There were also real believers,
47:21and we've been together for a while,
47:22without being persecuted too much,
47:23but now yes,
47:24go here,
47:25in the Plaza de Flores,
47:26begins to preach,
47:27as you should,
47:28and he's not going to come,
47:28and he's going to fine you,
47:30the more people talk about divorce,
47:32there is talk about abortion,
47:34we talk about sexual relations,
47:36you're going to have problems here,
47:38because in Europe,
47:39he is not a Christian,
47:40It's a lie,
47:41it is paganism,
47:42disguised as Christianity,
47:43and always,
47:44men,
47:46who hate,
47:46the truth,
47:47they will perceive it,
47:47so,
47:48get ready,
47:49Christ prepares you,
47:49and when that comes to you,
47:51rejoice,
47:52and rejoice,
47:53because that happened,
47:53since Cain,
47:54until the last taste,
47:56that will die,
47:57as it says in Revelation,
47:58so,
47:59that's what's coming,
48:00and get ready,
48:01if you are willing,
48:03to pay the price,
48:04but brother,
48:06life promises us something,
48:07because in Christ,
48:08there is life that is interesting,

48:24that if you do not act,
48:25They are empty words,
