01:55Romans 2, verses 1-11 says,
01:56Therefore, you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in judging another
02:05You condemn yourself, because you who judge do the same.
02:10But we know that God's judgment against those who practice such things is according to truth.
02:16And think this, O man, you who judge those who do such things and do the same, that you will escape
02:24of God's judgment.
02:26Or despise the riches of His kindness, patience, and longsuffering, not realizing that His kindness leads you to repentance.
02:38But because of your, but because of your hardness and your unrepentant heart, you stir up anger for yourself, for the
02:46day of wrath and revelation of God's righteous judgment,
02:50He will repay each person according to what they have done, and to those who by perseverance in doing good seek eternal life.
02:59glory and honor and immortality.
03:02But wrath and anger to those who are contentious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness.
03:11Tribulation and anguish upon every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek.
03:18But glory, honor, and peace to all who do good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,
03:26because there is no favoritism with God.
03:31Brother, we looked up to verse 6, we looked last week and we're going to continue from there.

03:45So we saw last week that those who judge others but practice the same things will not be able to escape the
03:53God's judgment, if God will judge and does not show favoritism.
03:56God knows our hearts.

04:05God remembers all our sins, all the things we did that we don't remember, in the
04:15sense that knows it.
04:16Now, if one is in Christ Jesus, God does not remember that sin to condemn him, if he has it, as if
04:25I would never sin.
04:26But God knows what we did, that's what he means.
04:30Then God remembers sins that even we don't remember.
04:33God knows all our hearts, and if we judge others but practice the same things God does,
04:41The Bible tells us clearly, do we think we can evade God, deceive God, lie to God?
04:47Oh man, you who judge others and do the same, do you think you will escape righteous judgment?
04:53of God.
04:53But it also says there's a problem: a hardened heart that doesn't want to repent and doesn't want to acknowledge

05:04and that we all need our Lord Jesus Christ and that we stop condemning others, like the Pharisees.

06:01Then we saw that example and we, brothers, have to look at it and not act like them if we are wise.
06:09Then it says, because of the hardness and it doesn't say, because your heart turns three hours in a row.
06:15For the day when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.
06:20And now we come to Romans chapter 2, verse 6, and if we have time we'll look at it up to the
06:27verse 11.
06:29And its title is, God will pay each one according to their leftovers.
06:34And we begin with verse 6 which says, who will repay each one according to his work.
06:41That is what Scripture teaches, that God will repay each one according to their surplus.
06:46One thing is clear, brother, there will be a trial.
06:49It is not a judgment, says the Bible, that God established that man dies only once and then comes again
06:56God's judgment.
06:57And this judgment of God is just.
07:00And there in the trial there are two fundamental principles.
07:03There are two: eternal life and eternal damnation; there is no other.
07:07There will be a certain trial.
07:11And there are two fundamental principles: that there will be eternal damnation and eternal life.
07:16And very clearly, as Paul says, we see it here, we will see it through Scripture.
07:21Eternal life for those who persevere well.
07:24Seek glory, seek honor, and seek immortality.
07:29Those who persevere well, those who seek glory, honor, and mortality.
07:34But not human glory, no glory.
07:36If you seek the glory of God, the glory that God gives.
07:40Honor.
07:41Honor God.
07:42And a human being made in the image of God who honors God.
07:46When man falls into sin, he loses the dignity that a being made in the image of God possesses.
07:53How is it possible that a man made in the image of God, gets drunk and goes to sleep, for example,
08:01on the street?
08:02Either he steals, or he lies, steals, or murders.
08:05That's not it; it has nothing to do with the character and nature of God.
08:10So when man falls into sin, he loses the dignity that a human being, made for glory, possesses.
08:18of God.
08:19For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
08:23So how is it possible that a human being made for the glory of God can become beautiful, die, get sick, and so on?
08:33There are other things we see that human beings do when we talk about morality, and also what is happening to us.
08:38with our bodies.
08:39We become convinced, we weaken, our eyes weaken, because if that is made in the image of God, and
08:47God is all-powerful, God is eternal, in God there is glory, in God there is life.
08:53It is because of sin; all have sinned and are deprived of the glory of God, and Christ reconquers that with
08:59We, therefore, by persevering in good, seek glory, seek honor, and something important, seek immortality.
09:07She wants to be one, she wants to know eternal life, she wants to be in eternal life with God, and this is
09:13eternal life, that I may know you, the only true God, Jesus Christ whom you sent.
09:18So we see that in that judgment each one will pay what each one seeks, and tribulation for those who
09:26They reject the truth, they are selfish, and they practice injustice; proud, arrogant, haughty, they reject the truth.
09:36They practice injustice, oppose God, oppose God's law, and live as if they were gods.
09:44No, in reality they are not, because they rejected God, and they live as they please, and they think that
09:51God's judgment will not reach him.
09:53But yes, according to scripture and absolute truth, he will attain it; the word of God says that there will be
10:00a judgment, as it tells us, and we are going to read it here in the Bible, so that we may see how the Lord
10:06Jesus Christ also tells us in Matthew 16, and verses 26 and 27.
10:11Matthew 16, verses 26 and 27 tells us,
10:38Look how the Lord is pointing at something.
10:41What good is it to gain the whole world if you forfeit your soul?
10:46What reward will a man give for his soul?
10:48If your soul is truly important, it's more important than anything you can imagine or achieve in life.

10:56Even if it were the whole world, the universe that is yours, but if your soul is lost, what then?
11:03Will this work for you?
11:04The Lord says, upon realizing, it is a way, a reason, as the Lord here is tremendous reason.
11:12What good is it to you?
11:13Because?
11:14And he tells us why one can lose one's soul, he says, because the Son of Man will come to the glory of
11:20His Father with his angels,
11:22and then he will repay each one according to his heart.
11:28What good is having everything here?
11:31Disobey God, be against God, because one day you will have to answer for everything you did.
11:38The Lord says.
11:39The truth that became flesh, that came from heaven, that brother tells us.
11:43And he who rejects that truth, there is nothing left for him.
11:48You know what?
11:48He says, no, it's not quite like that, it's more like that, that's not what the Lord meant.
11:54Brother, it clearly states what it's about.
11:57He will come with the angels and repay each person according to their deeds.
12:02Then, in Revelation 20, verse 11, through verse 15.
12:10Revelation 20, verse 11 through verse 15 tells us,
12:14And I saw a great white throne, and him who was seated on it, before him, whose face the earth fled from.
12:25and the sky, and no place could be found for it.
12:28Here is the judgment of the white throne.
12:30And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before God, and the books were opened.
12:35And another book was opened, which is the book of life.
12:40And the dead were judged by the things that were written in the book according to their works.
12:47And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death, Hades, gave up the dead who were in them.
12:54and they were judged each one according to his works.
12:57And death, Hades, were thrown into the lake of fire.
13:02This is the second death, and anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the earth.
13:08to the lake of fire.
13:09We have here a judgment, a white throne, perfect, without stain, the judge is just, he cannot be wronged, he is perfect.
13:18His judgment, heaven and earth fled before him; he is God.
13:22And now there is a judgment, and each one will be judged according to his works.
13:27And look, as the apostle says here, and I saw, he saw something that is going to happen, it's inevitable, brother, if
13:36You believe that is the word of God.
13:37That can't be avoided, and you already saw it; if that doesn't happen, I'm going to stop trusting.
13:43in God, because God lied.
13:45If you cannot, you have failed. God is truth, God cannot lie.

13:56Then there will be that judgment, and each one, as we have in the context, will be judged according to his works.
14:02And the throne is white, it says, it will judge with righteous judgment.
14:08Do you, man, think you will escape the righteous judgment of God?

14:16Then in Revelation 21:8 it says,
14:18But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, the idolaters, and all liars—he will have [the punishment of] them.
14:30his part in the lake that burns with fire to suffer, which is the second death.
14:35So, brother, I see it clearly, and here I want to point out, there will be a judgment, for sure, that cannot be avoided.
14:42And there, to each one, it says, right?
14:46It says so clearly.

15:30But glory, honor, and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
15:37Why does it say Jewish and Greek?
15:38It's like saying it, for those who know and for those who don't.

15:44For those who have the Bible and know the truth and listen to it, and for those who do not listen to it.
15:51Both are equally valid, but he puts the Jews first because they will be more responsible.

16:27We see it, we read that verse, and it leads us to understand that salvation is...
16:34There's a huge contradiction here, brother.
16:38Paul teaches us that salvation is by works or by grace.
16:42The Lord teaches us that salvation is by works or by grace.
16:46Who teaches us the word of God?
16:48Because if we take that text and isolate it from the entire context of the Bible, we conclude that salvation is
16:54because of what each of us does.
16:56If we are good, if we walk like that, then, in light of that verse, if I am good I don't need the Lord
17:06Christ.
17:06If I stop lying, if I stop stealing, if I stop posting, altering, criticizing, I will stop...
17:16I am evil and I am a little bone, I can be saved.
17:19But that's not really what the scripture teaches us, brother.
17:22That is not what writing teaches us.
17:24If we examine other passages of the Bible, we will see that this is not what the scripture teaches.
17:30Scripture teaches us, and it is clear, that salvation is by grace, through faith.
17:38I am the way, the truth, and the life.
17:41No one comes to the Father through me alone.
17:45He does not say, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and those who are good come to my Father.
17:50What he leaves behind, no, it's because of me, it's because he believes in me.
17:55But what is the scripture teaching us here?
17:59Because we see clearly, we will see it through the scripture, that Paul does not teach.
18:04In fact, in Galatians 1, chapter 1, verses 6 and 9,
18:10He says, cursed is he who does not have the Gospel as he preached it.

18:20I am amazed that it has so quickly distanced you from what it is, from what called you by the
18:27grace of Christ.
18:29To follow a different Gospel.

18:40To follow a different Gospel.
18:42Not that there is another gospel, but there is someone who is disturbing you and wants to pervert the gospel of Christ.
18:50But even if an angel or an angel from heaven should preach a different gospel to us,
18:56Let him whom we have announced be anathema.
19:01He's saying that he should be cursed.

19:48Therefore, I am called by the grace of the Lord.
19:52In other Roman epistles, Paul also teaches us, in the same Roman, that salvation is by grace.
19:59Romans 3:20 tells us that by the works of the law no human being will be justified in God's sight.

20:07It's kind of a contradiction, isn't it?
20:13He who is not in the truth, he who practices such things, will perish.
20:17And then the Bible says here, since by the works of the law no human being will be justified before the law.

20:23Then in Romans 3:28 it says, "We conclude, therefore, that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of God."

20:33So, brother, we will be judged according to our deeds, our deeds will follow us.
20:39Who's designing the Bible for us, right?
20:42It's a contradiction and many people misinterpret it.
20:45And it also says in Romans 11:6, and if by grace it is no longer by works, then by no means is it by works.
20:53grace is not grace.
20:54And if by works it is no longer grace, then by other means the work is no longer a work.

21:03If it is by grace, it means we are saved by faith in Christ Jesus, not by what

21:13It is by grace, by the grace of God, that the only way to be saved is through grace.

22:08Because it says there, those who seek glory, persevere in doing good, that is, sanctification of our lives.
22:15Those who persevere, those who know who they are first, genuinely repent.
22:21He recognizes that he needs to be Christ as Lord and Savior.
22:24And after he recognizes Him as Lord and Savior, he puts into practice what He says.
22:29Why does He put it there? Because the one who loves me keeps it somewhere else.
22:32Because a genuine Christian loves the Lord Jesus Christ.
22:37She loves him with all her heart.
22:38He doesn't love him perfectly, but he does love him sincerely; in practice, he is His.
22:44For by his works you will know him.
22:46So, that's what makes Pablo a contrast.
22:48For those who love Jesus, that's why he says, Peter, "Where are we going, Lord?"
22:53Lord, only you have the words of eternal life.

24:29Because our Lord clearly says that if we are not born again we cannot see while in the kingdom of God.

24:37He who seeks glory, immortality, he who perseveres, will not even follow him in his deed.
24:42But salvation is by faith in Christ Jesus, for the righteous will live by faith.
24:48So we live by faith, but faith comes by hearing, hearing the word of God that transforms us
24:54and it sanctifies us and aligns us with God's will.
25:00So that we may be in God's context, not live with our backs to God.
25:05So whoever lives with his back turned to God and says he knows God, is lying, brother, he is lying.

26:47For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

26:52And now the life I live in the flesh, I live through the Son of God, who loved me and was with me.

26:58What motivated Pablo?

30:24You rejected the light, you rejected the truth.
30:27So it says here, but it angers and stirs up those who are contentious and do not obey the truth.
30:33Rather, it obeys injustice.
30:36Remember, Romanus, chapter 1.
30:39For the wrath of God is poured out from heaven against all unrighteousness of man.
