00:00Man, Lord, as we always say, Lord, and it's not out of habit, we know, Lord, that You are holy, Lord, unique,
00:08Lord, You do not share glory with anyone, Lord, You alone are eternal, almighty, omniscient, omnipresent, You are God, and
00:21We are Your creation, Lord, and we acknowledge it, Lord, and we acknowledge everything in that afternoon that we need You, Lord.
00:30May He work in our hearts, may He work in us, Lord, may He bring repentance, knowledge of You, Lord. We need You and we acknowledge You.
00:41Lord, the need for You, Lord, because You are unique, wise God, and Your word is absolute truth, Lord.
00:49Help the Lord to recognize it, Lord, and to treasure Your word and keep it in our hearts, Lord, and we know, Lord,
00:59that without You we can be nothing.
01:01We need you and we thank you for being present with us this afternoon, in the name of Your Son.
01:07Amen.
01:17Okay, we're continuing with Romans, chapter 1, I'm going to read it again, today, no, Romans chapter 2, sorry, verse 1a
01:3411.
01:42The title is "The Judgment From Which No One Will Escape." God's judgment from which no one will escape. Well.
01:55Romans 2, verses 1-11 says,
01:56Therefore, you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in judging another
02:05You condemn yourself, because you who judge do the same.
02:10But we know that God's judgment against those who practice such things is according to truth.
02:16And think this, O man, you who judge those who do such things and do the same, that you will escape
02:24of God's judgment.
02:26Or despise the riches of His kindness, patience, and longsuffering, not realizing that His kindness leads you to repentance.
02:38But because of your, but because of your hardness and your unrepentant heart, you stir up anger for yourself, for the
02:46day of wrath and revelation of God's righteous judgment,
02:50He will repay each person according to what they have done, and to those who by perseverance in doing good seek eternal life.
02:59glory and honor and immortality.
03:02But wrath and anger to those who are contentious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness.
03:11Tribulation and anguish upon every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek.
03:18But glory, honor, and peace to all who do good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,
03:26because there is no favoritism with God.
03:31Brother, we looked up to verse 6, we looked last week and we're going to continue from there.
03:41And I have a subtitle which is God will repay each one according to his work.
03:45So we saw last week that those who judge others but practice the same things will not be able to escape the
03:53God's judgment, if God will judge and does not show favoritism.
03:56God knows our hearts.
03:59God is omnipresent and we are all here and God knows us better than we know ourselves.
04:05God remembers all our sins, all the things we did that we don't remember, in the
04:15sense that knows it.
04:16Now, if one is in Christ Jesus, God does not remember that sin to condemn him, if he has it, as if
04:25I would never sin.
04:26But God knows what we did, that's what he means.
04:30Then God remembers sins that even we don't remember.
04:33God knows all our hearts, and if we judge others but practice the same things God does,
04:41The Bible tells us clearly, do we think we can evade God, deceive God, lie to God?
04:47Oh man, you who judge others and do the same, do you think you will escape righteous judgment?
04:53of God.
04:53But it also says there's a problem: a hardened heart that doesn't want to repent and doesn't want to acknowledge
05:01that failed God like everything else
05:04and that we all need our Lord Jesus Christ and that we stop condemning others, like the Pharisees.
05:12So that's what we read last week, and the hardness of heart, as it says, is not because of your heart.
05:19regretful, because of the harshness.
05:21And we gave as an example the pharaoh who hardened his heart, and where did that hardness lead him? To ruin.
05:28We also gave the hardness of heart of the people of Israel, who were hard of heart, hard of service.
05:34He did not want to serve God despite all the miracles, all the signs.
05:38Even though God clearly demonstrated that He is the only God, they still rebelled against Him.
05:45And they desired to worship other gods, they sacrificed their children and thus did abominable things in the sight of God.
05:54In other words, things that disgust God when He sees you doing them, but are hard to serve.
06:01Then we saw that example and we, brothers, have to look at it and not act like them if we are wise.
06:09Then it says, because of the hardness and it doesn't say, because your heart turns three hours in a row.
06:15For the day when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.
06:20And now we come to Romans chapter 2, verse 6, and if we have time we'll look at it up to the
06:27verse 11.
06:29And its title is, God will pay each one according to their leftovers.
06:34And we begin with verse 6 which says, who will repay each one according to his work.
06:41That is what Scripture teaches, that God will repay each one according to their surplus.
06:46One thing is clear, brother, there will be a trial.
06:49It is not a judgment, says the Bible, that God established that man dies only once and then comes again
06:56God's judgment.
06:57And this judgment of God is just.
07:00And there in the trial there are two fundamental principles.
07:03There are two: eternal life and eternal damnation; there is no other.
07:07There will be a certain trial.
07:11And there are two fundamental principles: that there will be eternal damnation and eternal life.
07:16And very clearly, as Paul says, we see it here, we will see it through Scripture.
07:21Eternal life for those who persevere well.
07:24Seek glory, seek honor, and seek immortality.
07:29Those who persevere well, those who seek glory, honor, and mortality.
07:34But not human glory, no glory.
07:36If you seek the glory of God, the glory that God gives.
07:40Honor.
07:41Honor God.
07:42And a human being made in the image of God who honors God.
07:46When man falls into sin, he loses the dignity that a being made in the image of God possesses.
07:53How is it possible that a man made in the image of God, gets drunk and goes to sleep, for example,
08:01on the street?
08:02Either he steals, or he lies, steals, or murders.
08:05That's not it; it has nothing to do with the character and nature of God.
08:10So when man falls into sin, he loses the dignity that a human being, made for glory, possesses.
08:18of God.
08:19For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
08:23So how is it possible that a human being made for the glory of God can become beautiful, die, get sick, and so on?
08:33There are other things we see that human beings do when we talk about morality, and also what is happening to us.
08:38with our bodies.
08:39We become convinced, we weaken, our eyes weaken, because if that is made in the image of God, and
08:47God is all-powerful, God is eternal, in God there is glory, in God there is life.
08:53It is because of sin; all have sinned and are deprived of the glory of God, and Christ reconquers that with
08:59We, therefore, by persevering in good, seek glory, seek honor, and something important, seek immortality.
09:07She wants to be one, she wants to know eternal life, she wants to be in eternal life with God, and this is
09:13eternal life, that I may know you, the only true God, Jesus Christ whom you sent.
09:18So we see that in that judgment each one will pay what each one seeks, and tribulation for those who
09:26They reject the truth, they are selfish, and they practice injustice; proud, arrogant, haughty, they reject the truth.
09:36They practice injustice, oppose God, oppose God's law, and live as if they were gods.
09:44No, in reality they are not, because they rejected God, and they live as they please, and they think that
09:51God's judgment will not reach him.
09:53But yes, according to scripture and absolute truth, he will attain it; the word of God says that there will be
10:00a judgment, as it tells us, and we are going to read it here in the Bible, so that we may see how the Lord
10:06Jesus Christ also tells us in Matthew 16, and verses 26 and 27.
10:11Matthew 16, verses 26 and 27 tells us,
10:38Look how the Lord is pointing at something.
10:41What good is it to gain the whole world if you forfeit your soul?
10:46What reward will a man give for his soul?
10:48If your soul is truly important, it's more important than anything you can imagine or achieve in life.
10:55this world,
10:56Even if it were the whole world, the universe that is yours, but if your soul is lost, what then?
11:03Will this work for you?
11:04The Lord says, upon realizing, it is a way, a reason, as the Lord here is tremendous reason.
11:12What good is it to you?
11:13Because?
11:14And he tells us why one can lose one's soul, he says, because the Son of Man will come to the glory of
11:20His Father with his angels,
11:22and then he will repay each one according to his heart.
11:28What good is having everything here?
11:31Disobey God, be against God, because one day you will have to answer for everything you did.
11:38The Lord says.
11:39The truth that became flesh, that came from heaven, that brother tells us.
11:43And he who rejects that truth, there is nothing left for him.
11:48You know what?
11:48He says, no, it's not quite like that, it's more like that, that's not what the Lord meant.
11:54Brother, it clearly states what it's about.
11:57He will come with the angels and repay each person according to their deeds.
12:02Then, in Revelation 20, verse 11, through verse 15.
12:10Revelation 20, verse 11 through verse 15 tells us,
12:14And I saw a great white throne, and him who was seated on it, before him, whose face the earth fled from.
12:25and the sky, and no place could be found for it.
12:28Here is the judgment of the white throne.
12:30And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before God, and the books were opened.
12:35And another book was opened, which is the book of life.
12:40And the dead were judged by the things that were written in the book according to their works.
12:47And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death, Hades, gave up the dead who were in them.
12:54and they were judged each one according to his works.
12:57And death, Hades, were thrown into the lake of fire.
13:02This is the second death, and anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the earth.
13:08to the lake of fire.
13:09We have here a judgment, a white throne, perfect, without stain, the judge is just, he cannot be wronged, he is perfect.
13:18His judgment, heaven and earth fled before him; he is God.
13:22And now there is a judgment, and each one will be judged according to his works.
13:27And look, as the apostle says here, and I saw, he saw something that is going to happen, it's inevitable, brother, if
13:36You believe that is the word of God.
13:37That can't be avoided, and you already saw it; if that doesn't happen, I'm going to stop trusting.
13:43in God, because God lied.
13:45If you cannot, you have failed. God is truth, God cannot lie.
13:49So what is written here, that's what I want to point out, will come true, yes, clearly.
13:56Then there will be that judgment, and each one, as we have in the context, will be judged according to his works.
14:02And the throne is white, it says, it will judge with righteous judgment.
14:08Do you, man, think you will escape the righteous judgment of God?
14:13More for your heart.
14:15See how he says it?
14:16Then in Revelation 21:8 it says,
14:18But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, the idolaters, and all liars—he will have [the punishment of] them.
14:30his part in the lake that burns with fire to suffer, which is the second death.
14:35So, brother, I see it clearly, and here I want to point out, there will be a judgment, for sure, that cannot be avoided.
14:42And there, to each one, it says, right?
14:46It says so clearly.
14:48He says, but the cowards, the unbelievers, the murderers, the fornicators, the exiceros, and such, have thrown themselves into the lake
14:53of fire.
14:54And nobody can stop it.
14:56So, how does Pablo put it there?
14:58Even more so for those who disobey the truth.
15:01As it says here in Romans 2, it says, in 7,
15:05Eternal life reigns for those who persevere; glory, honor, and immortality are sought.
15:09But wrath and anger to those who are contentious and do not obey the truth.
15:14But it disobeys injustice.
15:19It says, search, then it says, in verse 9, tribulation and anguish upon every human being who does evil, the Jew
15:27firstly, and also Greek.
15:30But glory, honor, and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
15:37Why does it say Jewish and Greek?
15:38It's like saying it, for those who know and for those who don't.
15:43That is.
15:44For those who have the Bible and know the truth and listen to it, and for those who do not listen to it.
15:51Both are equally valid, but he puts the Jews first because they will be more responsible.
15:59That's right, brother.
16:01In other words, we are much more responsible than others who don't listen to that.
16:06Because we know, we see it clearly and we reject it, then they will be judged, the human beyond will say, according to
16:13the law.
16:15According to the law, according to the word of God.
16:17So we see clearly that there is a judgment and each one will receive according to his deeds.
16:23But here's something, something very important.
16:27We see it, we read that verse, and it leads us to understand that salvation is...
16:34There's a huge contradiction here, brother.
16:38Paul teaches us that salvation is by works or by grace.
16:42The Lord teaches us that salvation is by works or by grace.
16:46Who teaches us the word of God?
16:48Because if we take that text and isolate it from the entire context of the Bible, we conclude that salvation is
16:54because of what each of us does.
16:56If we are good, if we walk like that, then, in light of that verse, if I am good I don't need the Lord
17:06Christ.
17:06If I stop lying, if I stop stealing, if I stop posting, altering, criticizing, I will stop...
17:16I am evil and I am a little bone, I can be saved.
17:19But that's not really what the scripture teaches us, brother.
17:22That is not what writing teaches us.
17:24If we examine other passages of the Bible, we will see that this is not what the scripture teaches.
17:30Scripture teaches us, and it is clear, that salvation is by grace, through faith.
17:38I am the way, the truth, and the life.
17:41No one comes to the Father through me alone.
17:45He does not say, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and those who are good come to my Father.
17:50What he leaves behind, no, it's because of me, it's because he believes in me.
17:55But what is the scripture teaching us here?
17:59Because we see clearly, we will see it through the scripture, that Paul does not teach.
18:04In fact, in Galatians 1, chapter 1, verses 6 and 9,
18:10He says, cursed is he who does not have the Gospel as he preached it.
18:17Let's read it, look, Galatians 1, 6, 9, it says,
18:20I am amazed that it has so quickly distanced you from what it is, from what called you by the
18:27grace of Christ.
18:29To follow a different Gospel.
18:32I am amazed, I am amazed that you were called by the grace of Jesus.
18:37It's because of the account.
18:40To follow a different Gospel.
18:42Not that there is another gospel, but there is someone who is disturbing you and wants to pervert the gospel of Christ.
18:50But even if an angel or an angel from heaven should preach a different gospel to us,
18:56Let him whom we have announced be anathema.
19:01He's saying that he should be cursed.
19:04Damned, it's not just a simple word.
19:07May the full weight of what is said against him in that book fall upon him.
19:13Because that's the curse, brother.
19:14The curse is not a spell.
19:16I cast a spell, I declare it, and it happens.
19:20That is the curse that comes from paganism.
19:22According to the Bible, the curse is a curse from God.
19:27Curse, it will go badly for you, if you do such and such.
19:30Then Paul says that anyone who preaches a different gospel is cursed.
19:35So, it is not by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
19:39And he says, as we have told you before, I repeat it now.
19:42If anyone preaches a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
19:47Do you realize?
19:48Therefore, I am called by the grace of the Lord.
19:52In other Roman epistles, Paul also teaches us, in the same Roman, that salvation is by grace.
19:59Romans 3:20 tells us that by the works of the law no human being will be justified in God's sight.
20:06God.
20:07It's kind of a contradiction, isn't it?
20:13He who is not in the truth, he who practices such things, will perish.
20:17And then the Bible says here, since by the works of the law no human being will be justified before the law.
20:22of God.
20:23Then in Romans 3:28 it says, "We conclude, therefore, that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of God."
20:31the law.
20:33So, brother, we will be judged according to our deeds, our deeds will follow us.
20:39Who's designing the Bible for us, right?
20:42It's a contradiction and many people misinterpret it.
20:45And it also says in Romans 11:6, and if by grace it is no longer by works, then by no means is it by works.
20:53grace is not grace.
20:54And if by works it is no longer grace, then by other means the work is no longer a work.
21:01Is it by grace or is it by works?
21:03If it is by grace, it means we are saved by faith in Christ Jesus, not by what
21:09What do we do?
21:10I so declare.
21:11That we are not saved by what we do.
21:13It is by grace, by the grace of God, that the only way to be saved is through grace.
21:19faith in Christ Jesus.
21:21In verse 2, verse 8 and 9.
21:25For by grace I have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is the gift of God.
21:31God.
21:31Not by works so that no one may boast.
21:35So, brother, we've got it figured out.
21:37If we read only the verses, if we read the context, the light grows more, doesn't it?
21:43We clearly see that salvation is solely by the grace of God.
21:48But what does Scripture teach us?
21:51What Paul's contrast teaches us today, brother, is between those who truly believe in Jesus,
21:59and follows Jesus, and loves Jesus, and has a close relationship with Jesus, among others who...
22:08Because it says there, those who seek glory, persevere in doing good, that is, sanctification of our lives.
22:15Those who persevere, those who know who they are first, genuinely repent.
22:21He recognizes that he needs to be Christ as Lord and Savior.
22:24And after he recognizes Him as Lord and Savior, he puts into practice what He says.
22:29Why does He put it there? Because the one who loves me keeps it somewhere else.
22:32Because a genuine Christian loves the Lord Jesus Christ.
22:37She loves him with all her heart.
22:38He doesn't love him perfectly, but he does love him sincerely; in practice, he is His.
22:44For by his works you will know him.
22:46So, that's what makes Pablo a contrast.
22:48For those who love Jesus, that's why he says, Peter, "Where are we going, Lord?"
22:53Lord, only you have the words of eternal life.
22:56Where am I going to go, Lord?
22:58Only you have the words of eternal life.
23:01Therefore, whoever recognizes the Lord Jesus Christ, recognizes the truth, accepts the truth, is transformed by the truth.
23:08He has the Holy Spirit, his life changes.
23:11So, that's what happens in his life.
23:13Glory, honor, immortality.
23:15Eternal life exists, but we are with Christ in heaven.
23:21"Keep your eyes on heaven," says Scripture.
23:24Eternal life, immortality.
23:26The man who is born again seeks immortality.
23:30The Bible says, more flesh, is, the hearts that are in the flesh, have thoughts in the flesh.
23:37They do not value earthly things, that is why good things do not endure.
23:40No, always look for the things they have before.
23:44He takes pleasure in those things and does not seek eternal life.
23:48He does not submit to God's truth.
23:50He does not want, he does not treasure the truth of God.
23:53He does not treasure Jesus Christ as a royal treasure.
23:57He doesn't really love it and can't produce.
24:00So, in his life there is fornication, practice, adultery, lying, stealing, criticism, cursing, and so on.
24:11Because it does not seek eternal life, but a heart that is changed by God is different, brother.
24:17Because those who are born of God, the Bible says, cannot practice sin.
24:25If I was born of God, that's what it's all about, being born again.
24:29Because our Lord clearly says that if we are not born again we cannot see while in the kingdom of God.
24:35So that's what Scripture is teaching us there.
24:37He who seeks glory, immortality, he who perseveres, will not even follow him in his deed.
24:42But salvation is by faith in Christ Jesus, for the righteous will live by faith.
24:48So we live by faith, but faith comes by hearing, hearing the word of God that transforms us
24:54and it sanctifies us and aligns us with God's will.
25:00So that we may be in God's context, not live with our backs to God.
25:05So whoever lives with his back turned to God and says he knows God, is lying, brother, he is lying.
25:11And then his work follows.
25:12In God's judgment, the believer is covered by Christ.
25:15The Bible clearly states in Revelation that we are clothed in white garments.
25:19And if clothes are washed in the blood of power.
25:23Then we are saved by faith in Christ Jesus.
25:25And what he taught us is that we are truly saved is our works that follow us.
25:30In other words, if I truly love Jesus, it shows, it is shown in my life.
25:36I truly love him.
25:39Because that's what it's all about.
25:41It's not that we do things because nobody can do what God says if they don't love Him.
25:48That's what I'm getting at.
25:50So when, Lord, I desire to do that, but because I love you.
25:55And that will of yours is not to lie, I'm not going to lie.
25:59That's what a believer does.
26:00But because of the flesh he is driven to lie, to curse, to criticize, to what the flesh is.
26:07The work of the flesh.
26:08But Lord, I refuse that because I love you.
26:11And it's not your will, your will is different.
26:14Your will is good.
26:15I want to please you, I want to practice what you are.
26:19And there, in that lifestyle, it is shown that there is a genuine love for the Lord.
26:25If that practice doesn't exist, then where is it?
26:28That is why the Lord loves me and keeps my word.
26:33Because, brother, by persevering in doing good, one seeks glory, honor, and immortality.
26:38They are those who have genuinely trusted in Jesus Christ.
26:43They clung to Jesus Christ, who loves Jesus Christ.
26:46What does Pablo say?
26:47For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
26:51He says, of course.
26:52And now the life I live in the flesh, I live through the Son of God, who loved me and was with me.
26:57He gave it up for me.
26:58What motivated Pablo?
27:00Think about Pablo.
27:01He had an education.
27:03He had a very good position.
27:04He had a great career ahead of him.
27:06What prompted him to leave all that behind?
27:10To be stoned, to go to jail, to be cursed, rejected by the people of Israel,
27:16the pursued, losing the race, losing the whole palm,
27:19And in the end he cut off Rome's head, brother.
27:21Who led that man to be that way, right?
27:24When he had his whole career behind him, he was an intelligent, educated man.
27:28And he had a lot ahead of him.
27:30In fact, he was going to Damascus to arrest the Christians,
27:34He was the leader who was going.
27:36He was the one in charge, he organized it.
27:39It was even well regarded among the people of Israel.
27:41And suddenly, the one who persecuted us is now preaching the Gospel.
27:47What's going on with that man?
27:49That's exactly what happens in our lives.
27:51But in other contexts.
27:53He who used to steal, no longer steals.
27:55He who used to lie, no longer lies; he no longer has a way to practice.
27:58The one who used to get drunk, no longer does.
28:00He who did such and such, everything contrary to the will of God,
28:04What the flesh is, what the Bible says, the work of the flesh is evident,
28:08He no longer practices it.
28:09So, do you remember what this one looked like?
28:12What was he doing?
28:15How different it is now.
28:16She looks like a different person.
28:19Yes, because he was born again.
28:21It seems so, and not only does it seem so, it is.
28:25It is, because a new creature in Christ Jesus is anyone who is born again.
28:29It is a new creation in Christ Jesus.
28:31It's different in practice.
28:33And you can see in practice how his life changed.
28:37Pablo changed too.
28:39Shocking, isn't it?
28:40But we see why it changed.
28:42Because he was talking about Jesus.
28:43Why was he doing all that?
28:44Because there was truth, I knew the truth, I loved the truth, I followed the truth.
28:51It is our Lord Jesus.
28:54He oppressed the truth, he oppressed the truth, and he had everything, he says, as lineage, as garbage, for what?
28:59To gain Christ, the Scripture says, brother.
29:02The one I want to hear, there it is.
29:04That is why he seeks glory, honor, immortality.
29:07He who loves, cherishes, and values the Lord Jesus Christ.
29:13He who truly has Him as Lord and Savior, and appreciates and loves Him.
29:20Otherwise, there is a religiosity and a practice that contradicts the truth.
29:23Because there, in Romano, I'm going to read it again.
29:28It tells us, in verse 7, that eternal life will be given to those who persevere in doing good; doing what seeks glory, honor, and immortality.
29:35But who perseveres for my good?
29:37That means sanctification.
29:39Those who love Jesus, those who have surrendered to the truth, those who do not reject the light, those who want
29:44to be with the Lord,
29:46Those who recognize that everything Jesus Christ says is true, and amen.
29:51That His will is good, pleasing, and perfect.
29:53Those who submit to the will of Christ.
29:57Only they follow that.
29:59He says he seeks glory, honor, immortality.
30:02Where will he die, Lord? Only you have the power to say.
30:04But it angers and enrages those who are contentious and who do not obey the truth.
30:09He does not obey the Lord Jesus Christ, brother.
30:11You do not obey the word, you do not obey the Lord Jesus Christ.
30:16You do not recognize that word and you do not hold it in your heart, you do not recognize God.
30:22You do not recognize the Lord Jesus Christ.
30:24You rejected the light, you rejected the truth.
30:27So it says here, but it angers and stirs up those who are contentious and do not obey the truth.
30:33Rather, it obeys injustice.
30:36Remember, Romanus, chapter 1.
30:39For the wrath of God is poured out from heaven against all unrighteousness of man.
30:44Thus, their injustice withholds the truth.
30:46It's the same thing.
30:47Those who want to cover up the truth.
30:50Those who want to hide the truth.
30:52Those who reject the truth and want nothing to do with it.
30:56That's coming his way.
30:57Anger and rage.
30:59Because he rejects it with his injustice.
31:02What does it say here too?
31:03They are contentious, they do not obey the truth.
31:06Rather, he obeys the injustice of his heart.
31:10The light, the truth, will be clearly revealed to him.
31:12If not.
31:14It was the same.
31:15Continue elsewhere.
31:16And if he doesn't make it obvious by saying it, he does it in practice.
31:20Because her heart has already rejected him.
31:23He says it's not true.
31:24It's not as it says here.
31:26He begins to twist the truth.
31:27The Bible says you're going here, and we're speaking in context for those who know.
31:31And he says it's for his own downfall.
31:34Brother, imagine yourself like this.
31:35That path leads me down, I fall and I'm going to die.
31:39And we all know that's the truth.
31:41But I say, it's not true.
31:44And I continue.
31:45And I'm going to fall and I'm going to die.
31:47Because I am twisting the writing to my own downfall.
31:52And I'm just telling myself, and I understand, deceiving myself into thinking that won't happen.
31:57And I'm just going away and getting lost.
32:01Because that's what other parts of writing teach.
32:04Because then the scripture says, to his own destruction, brother.
32:08That's tremendous.
32:09What an unconverted heart does.
32:13Then we see what the scripture tells us here.
32:16But the believer is different.
32:17It's the kind of sound that makes you anxious, especially when it comes to human beings who do bad things.
32:20And lastly, firstly, also Greek.
32:22But glory, honor, and peace to all who do good.
32:26Who does good?
32:28Because it says that this good deed was a prepared one.
32:31Who does good?
32:32Those who are in Christ Jesus.
32:34Those who love Jesus.
32:35Those who follow Jesus.
32:37Those who truly follow him.
32:39Then there is a good work.
32:40But act according to God.
32:41Not a good work according to the human mind.
32:44According to the meat.
32:45Not carnal love.
32:46It is God's love.
32:47Love in truth.
32:49Brothers, we see our Lords of Christ at work.
32:51But you never see Jesus Christ rejecting the truth for the good of humankind.
32:58You'll never see that.
33:00God is compassionate.
33:01Christ is merciful.
33:02God is compassionate.
33:03But the truth is the truth.
33:06He did not put names above the truth.
33:09That's what I want to say.
33:10So human love is often like that.
33:14First and foremost, we love God.
33:15And then the truth to humankind.
33:19If we do not love human beings.
33:20Then we tell each other the truth.
33:22Because the Bible does not clearly say that we must have love for our neighbors.
33:26But what if we do not love God?
33:27And we put human beings above the truth.
33:30We do not love God.
33:31And it is not the love that God demands.
33:33And it doesn't attract profit.
33:34Not even for his heart.
33:35Not even for society.
33:36Because going down that path leads us to ruin.
33:40And so that it doesn't hurt you.
33:42And that it doesn't make you feel bad.
33:43And because I think down below so that it doesn't suffer.
33:46So that he doesn't go through bad emotions.
33:48I'm not telling you the truth so as not to offend you.
33:50I am not urging you.
33:52And I'll let you go and you'll get lost.
33:54I loved you.
33:57Knowing that you're sure to get there.
33:59No.
34:00Because I was thinking more about what was going to happen to you.
34:02You're going to suffer.
34:04Or because people are going to say something.
34:06About us.
34:07What a bad person.
34:08Look.
34:09He preaches about anger.
34:10Anger.
34:11Condemnation.
34:13But that's what writing teaches.
34:14It can't be helped, brother.
34:16Because those who reject the truth.
34:18That's it.
34:24Let's read another verse.
34:26We're almost finished.
34:28In Tito.
34:33Chapter 1.
34:35Verse 10.
34:40Verses 10 to 16.
34:42He tells us.
34:42Here we speak in context.
34:44Those who do not persevere.
34:46But they are Jewish.
34:50That they know.
34:51Because there still is.
34:52There are still many.
34:54Contumaces.
34:55It says here.
34:56Vanity talkers.
34:58Deceivers.
34:59Meagerly.
34:59Of circumcision.
35:01To whom it is precious.
35:04Cover your mouth.
35:05That disrupts entire homes.
35:07Taught.
35:09Teaching.
35:10For dishonest gain.
35:11What is not advisable.
35:13Look what it says.
35:14One of them.
35:15Its own object.
35:16Said.
35:16The Cretans.
35:18Always liars.
35:20Evil beasts.
35:21Gluttons.
35:22And idle.
35:24That.
35:25Testimony.
35:25It's true.
35:27Therefore.
35:28Look what it says here.
35:30Reprimand him severely.
35:31So that it is healthy.
35:33In faith.
35:35Harshly.
35:36In the mother.
35:37Tell him clearly.
35:38No.
35:39Idle.
35:40Gluttons.
35:41Poracherra.
35:42And in all of that.
35:42It's not about that.
35:43That's not a life.
35:44That God wills.
35:45From us.
35:46If you reprimand him.
35:47So that faith may be healthy.
35:49Ignoring the fable.
35:51Daica.
35:51Nor to the commandments of men.
35:53That which deviates from the truth.
35:54He realizes it again.
35:55That.
35:56Those people who.
35:58It reaches.
35:58Rage and anger.
35:59What are you doing.
36:00Reject the truth.
36:00It deviates from the truth.
36:02He doesn't want to take anything to do with the truth.
36:04But.
36:04He says he knows Jesus.
36:06God be with you.
36:07Because we'll see it in context.
36:09That's true.
36:10If all things are pure for the pure.
36:12But for the corrupt.
36:14And unbelievers.
36:15Nothing is pure to them.
36:16Indeed, even his mind and conscience are corrupted.
36:20She professes.
36:21Know.
36:22Bye bye.
36:24But his actions contradict this.
36:26Being.
36:28Abominable.
36:28And rebels.
36:30Failed.
36:31Regarding every good work.
36:33Brother.
36:33He declares that he knows God.
36:35But because of what he practices.
36:36They are abominable.
36:38In their lifestyle.
36:39But that's how it's possible.
36:41Those who live according to the flesh.
36:43His practice.
36:44It's abominable.
36:46So that's what someone is.
36:47He professes that he knows God.
36:49So how is that possible?
36:51That's it.
36:52Jews.
36:52To say what the word knows.
36:54They don't persevere well.
36:55Do you realize?
36:56No.
36:57Because?
36:57Because they are abominable.
36:59Reverdes.
37:00Failed.
37:01In every good work.
37:01They are rebels against the truth.
37:03Rebels against God.
37:04Rebels against the word of God.
37:05Reject.
37:06He does not want to practice what God says.
37:08But he says he knows God.
37:10But the Bible says...
37:11With his action.
37:12He does not deny it.
37:13Because if I really knew him.
37:15And I would have a relationship with him.
37:17And I would learn from him.
37:18And he recognizes him as God.
37:20The brothers.
37:20When we say that we recognize God.
37:22And we know God.
37:24I'm saying.
37:25I recognize the one who knows everything.
37:27He can do anything.
37:29To the only wise God.
37:30And that everything he says.
37:31It's the truth.
37:33And I have to follow him.
37:34If I recognize him as God.
37:36Not me.
37:36Not to my heart.
37:37Not to my mind.
37:38Not to a human being.
37:39Yes to God.
37:40Then he says.
37:41He professes to know God.
37:42He professes to have a relationship with God.
37:45He professes that God loves him.
37:47But in practice.
37:48He does not deny it.
37:50That is to say.
37:51As if God wouldn't insist on him.
37:53As if God wouldn't insist on him.
37:55And that's very hard.
37:57So.
37:57Not to persevere to good.
38:01If you practice sin.
38:02It is contrary to the truth of God.
38:04It opposes the truth of God.
38:06And it ends badly.
38:08So.
38:08Why do I say that?
38:09Let's be careful.
38:10Let us not harden our hearts.
38:12Let us leave the word of God.
38:14May it enter our hearts.
38:16May we receive the light and the truth.
38:18And that we repent of our sins.
38:20Let us submit to God's truth.
38:22And that we practice God's truth.
38:25That is good, pleasant, and perfect.
38:26Because he who is a believer.
38:28He really does that, bro.
38:30Recognize.
38:30Bye bye.
38:32And practice what God is.
38:33Why do you call him Lord, Lord?
38:35And you don't do what I tell you?
38:37Why do you say that I am the Lord?
38:39The Lord is in charge.
38:41The one who says what needs to be done.
38:42And you say to me, Lord.
38:44But you never do what I tell you.
38:45Why am I your Lord then?
38:47And you're not doing anything?
38:48He realizes that in practice.
38:49Nothing.
38:50I can tell you.
38:51You are my Lord.
38:52But I never do what you tell me.
38:54If I tell you.
38:55You are my boss.
38:56You're the one in charge.
38:57What you say is correct.
38:59What you say is the truth.
39:00Nothing.
39:02But everything you say.
39:03And I do nothing.
39:04Never.
39:05Never.
39:06I don't care.
39:06Then you're going to say.
39:07What's going on?
39:08Are you taking me for a fool?
39:10God will not be mocked.
39:12He's going to take me for a fool.
39:13You tell me.
39:14That I am your Lord.
39:15I know.
39:16I do.
39:16And in the end you don't do anything I tell you.
39:19It's contradictory, brother.
39:20The truth is the truth.
39:22That's why I'm telling you.
39:23We are not here to be religious.
39:25We have come to be in the truth.
39:27It will end the same way.
39:28Also in providing.
39:31Chapter 2.
39:34Chapter 2.
39:35No.
39:35Chapter 1.
39:36Chapter 1.
39:36Verse 22.
39:39And we'll see.
39:41That.
39:42When I read it.
39:43I read it often.
39:44And it is.
39:46Extraordinary.
39:47That word.
39:48Says.
39:48How long will it be simple?
39:50I will love simplicity.
39:52And the mockers.
39:54To wish for ridicule.
39:56And the fools.
39:57He will abhor science.
40:00Return to my depression.
40:03That here.
40:03I renamed you.
40:04My spirit.
40:05About you.
40:06And I will let you know.
40:07My words.
40:09Because I called.
40:10There it is, brother.
40:11Because I called.
40:12And you refused to listen.
40:14I extended my hand.
40:15And there was no one to answer.
40:17But you rejected all my advice.
40:20And my depression.
40:21You didn't want to.
40:23Also.
40:24I will laugh.
40:25In your calamities.
40:28Do you realize?
40:28What am I getting at?
40:29Those who reject the light.
40:30They are presented to him.
40:31God extends.
40:32When.
40:32When we reject the light.
40:34And the truth is to reject God.
40:35God extends his hand.
40:38Come to me.
40:39I want you to be saved.
40:40I do not want the death of the one who dies.
40:44God is patient with us.
40:46So that we may all attain salvation.
40:47And let's know the truth.
40:49And God extends his hand.
40:50And he says.
40:51Come to me.
40:51And it teaches us the words.
40:53Or simple.
40:54Come here so I can teach you.
40:56The truth.
40:57Take care of it.
40:58Receive it.
40:59Do not reject the truth.
41:01The Lord tells us here in his word.
41:03And he says.
41:05I'll laugh too.
41:06In your calamity.
41:07And I will mock.
41:08When he comes.
41:08Those you burn.
41:09And your calamity will come like a whirlwind.
41:13When tribulation and anguish come upon you.
41:16So.
41:17He'll call me.
41:18And I will not answer.
41:20He'll look for me in the morning.
41:21And he will not find me.
41:22Whereas.
41:24They abhorred wisdom.
41:26And they chose.
41:28And they did not choose the fear of the Lord.
41:31They didn't even take my advice.
41:33And they disregarded all my rebuke.
41:36Brother.
41:36How clear the word is here.
41:37He doesn't want advice.
41:39We do not want to be rebuked by God.
41:41We do not heed God's wisdom.
41:44So.
41:44Mister.
41:44Look, he will eat the fruit of his own journey.
41:47Hey?
41:48Rejection.
41:49For the truth.
41:50I don't want to.
41:52God makes it clear to me.
41:53Life and death.
41:54I am refusing.
41:55I do not heed God's advice.
41:57He will eat the fruit of his journey.
41:59And you will grow weary of your own advice.
42:03If you want my advice.
42:04To deceive their hearts about all things.
42:06You think it's that way.
42:08And it's not the way I'm telling you.
42:10Masturbate.
42:11But he will send you the wrong message.
42:13About you.
42:13And when is it going to come?
42:15You're going to have a tough time.
42:17But brother.
42:17Here I go in a more broader context.
42:19That will happen to everyone.
42:21On Judgment Day.
42:23That they rejected God.
42:25Already.
42:25He will cry out.
42:26And God will not listen to him.
42:29He will seek God.
42:30And there's no way to find it.
42:32Because they have already rejected the truth.
42:34Then he says.
42:35Here it tells us.
42:37He will eat the fruit of his journey.
42:38And he will grow weary of his own counsel.
42:40Because the waywardness of the ignorant will kill them.
42:43And the prosperity of fools will bring them down.
42:47Further.
42:48The one who wasn't.
42:49He will dwell securely.
42:50And he will live in peace.
42:52Without fear.
42:55Something becomes clear here.
42:56What does it say?
42:57The one who is listening to me.
42:58The one who follows me.
42:59The one who loves me.
43:00The one who treasures me.
43:02He who says that the wisdom he receives from me.
43:04It's good.
43:05And it shows in practice.
43:07Further.
43:08The one who hears me.
43:09He will dwell securely.
43:11And he will live in peace.
43:12Without fear of evil.
43:14Who?
43:15The one who hears me.
43:16The one who follows me.
43:17The one who accepts me.
43:18Further.
43:18He who rejects my word.
43:20Reject wisdom.
43:22That's what happens to the society we live in.
43:24We speak in Europe and almost all over the world.
43:26In the cultural context in which we find ourselves in this century.
43:30They rejected the truth.
43:31Brothers rejected the Christianity that founded Europe.
43:34We have been founded.
43:35We grew and prospered because of Christianity.
43:38From the Christian worldview.
43:41What does it mean.
43:41Because of the way Christianity views life.
43:44How the family sees it.
43:45How do you see the man-woman relationship?
43:47Father-sons.
43:48And so we go.
43:48Business and all that.
43:50How a society guided by the Christian worldview functions.
43:54He rejected it.
43:56And now.
43:57As the Bible says.
43:58You will eat of the fruit.
43:59On their way.
44:01And you will be emptied of your own counsel.
44:03And now.
44:04How to believe in children's desires?
44:06That he doesn't obey them.
44:07He doesn't respect the elderly.
44:10Wow!
44:10And we are surprised.
44:12But society rejected God.
44:13And he turned away from God.
44:15And not discipline.
44:17It doesn't correct.
44:18He does not love his children in the biblical context.
44:20So that's not coming.
44:21What's going on, brother?
44:23Nobody loves each other now.
44:24Family doesn't last at all.
44:26And so on.
44:27And so on.
44:28Because?
44:28Because if a society turns away from God.
44:31That's fitting.
44:32And the evil he fears.
44:34That's what he'll see.
44:35And then the Lord says.
44:36I'm going to give you the President.
44:38How do you deserve it?
44:40He's going to rob you.
44:41He's going to deceive you.
44:42And so on.
44:43Know?
44:44He's going to indoctrinate you.
44:45He's going to want to have your children.
44:47To indoctrinate them in schools.
44:48And keep moving forward.
44:49Because?
44:50Because you say he loves me.
44:51You gather together.
44:53Alleluia.
44:53Amen.
44:54God is with me.
44:55But in practice you totally rejected me.
44:58And with that fact.
44:59You touched me.
45:01And now that.
45:02And I'm going to finish.
45:03That happens, brother.
45:04As I have done many times.
45:05People are leaving.
45:06Vote for the party.
45:07Who indoctrinates his children.
45:09Totally anti-God the schools.
45:11And then he says.
45:11Siblings.
45:12Let us pray that our children are not indoctrinated.
45:15Brother.
45:15God will not listen to you.
45:17Okay?
45:17Because you fled from him.
45:19What did you do?
45:20Because you liked the money more.
45:23The material promise.
45:24And so on.
45:25God will judge that.
45:27Believe me.
45:27In all our actions.
45:29In all our decisions.
45:31You decided instead of the truth.
45:33That.
45:34Instead of light.
45:35This.
45:35And now I'm going to Quino on top of you.
45:37Siblings.
45:38If we put our hand in the fire.
45:39We didn't get burned.
45:40They're not telling us the truth.
45:41We got burned.
45:43And if I say.
45:44No.
45:45Because I put it in.
45:46And I put it in quickly.
45:47And I take it out.
45:48And I don't know what.
45:48Or I'll put it in.
45:49I'll leave it for a bit.
45:50And I put it in the water.
45:51And it doesn't hurt anymore.
45:52Know?
45:53But I'll put it in there.
45:54And then I take it out.
45:55And it hurts for two months.
45:57Because.
45:58Twisting the truth.
46:00I am suffering.
46:00So let's be vigilant.
46:02The truth is the truth.
46:03Siblings.
46:04Let us follow God.
46:05And let's leave it at that.
46:07There will be a trial.
46:09Sure.
46:10We will each be judged according to our deeds.
46:13But those who love the Lord Jesus Christ.
46:15Their work will follow them.
46:17And they will not perish.
46:18Because.
46:19I have a verse.
46:20And I'm going to read it.
46:21I can't read that.
46:23That verse.
46:24Because.
46:24It is very important.
46:26In the end.
46:27In Roman 5.
46:28He doesn't say it.
46:29Justified.
46:29Well, by faith.
46:30We have peace with God.
46:32Through our Lord Jesus Christ.
46:34Salvation is not by works.
46:36Salvation is by the grace of God.
46:39There will be a trial.
46:40And all those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
46:43He will be saved and covered by the Lord Jesus Christ.
46:45And his life will prove it here.
46:47That she loves him.
46:48Or if he continues.
46:49This is how writing teaches us.
46:51Siblings.
46:52We are saved by the grace of God.
46:54Therefore, our Lord Jesus Christ.
46:55He has done for us.
46:56Because He loved us.
46:58With eternal love.
46:59How do we respond to that?
47:03Mister.
47:04Thank you for this afternoon, Lord.
47:07May the Lord help you to love yourself.
47:08Thank you very much.
47:09Our hearts are bowed.
47:11To things that are not desirable.
47:14And it brings no benefit to our lives, Lord.
47:17Having you.
47:18To serve you.
47:19To love you.
47:21It's a total win, sir.
47:23May the Lord help you to value yourself.
47:25To love you.
47:26To follow you, Lord, to the end.
47:29You are the great treasure, Lord.
47:31You are the Messiah.
47:32The envoy.
47:34The almighty.
47:35The one who fills the heart, Lord.
47:38He who brings peace to our hearts.
47:41To be at your feet, Lord.
47:43That's where we win, Lord.
47:45Spending time with you, Lord.
47:47And to love you with all our hearts.
47:48We give thanks to you, Lord.
47:50And I ask you, Lord.
47:52Here is your town.
47:53Your church.
47:54That I would give your life for her, Lord.
47:56It's yours, Lord.
47:57And you love him, Lord.
47:59She is the apple of your eye, Lord.
48:01Help him, Lord.
48:02That word edifies, Lord.
48:04In their hearts, Lord.
48:06May it be of edification to him.
48:08May you be blessed that afternoon, Lord.
48:10And put into practice what he heard.
48:13In the name of your church.
48:15Amen.
48:16Amen.
48:16Amen.
48:17Amen.
48:17Amen.
48:17Amen.
48:18Amen.
48:18Amen.
48:18Amen.
48:18Thank you.
